The best restaurants in St Jude Portsmouth South East

Today I visited this place after finding it on Uber Eats, and I can honestly say that the experience was amazing, one of the best I’ve had in the UK. The food was incredible, and the customer service was top (Rosa is amazing and lovely). It’s a very warm and welcoming place, you’ll truly feel like you’re in Venezuela. We had Caracas Arepas, Ávila, and Sifrina, as well as tequeños, empanadas de carne, and for drinks, the typical Polar beer and Chicha. I highly recommend it 100%. I’d come back to Portsmouth just to eat here!

Writing this review as conveniently they don't allow reviews of the food on uber eat app. They used to bevgood however the last 2 times we ordered (wagyu Phillips cheesesteak), they basically filled it with onions and a few pieces of wagy scattered with minimal cheese in the bread. It never used to be like thus but has gone downhill. We essentially paid for a brioche bun filled with onions and a few pieces of wagy scattered which I only knew because I looked inside but you can't taste

Understand this is with new management so popped in to check it out. Coffee was very good and light breakfast snack was good quality and locally sourced ingredients which is always nice to see. Good VFM and staff very polite and helpful. Worth a visit.

This was for a pre-graduation dinner for the family, and having never had a taster menu we didn't really know what to expect. It was delicious, so many taster dishes, which didn't seem a lot at the time, but were so filling and made a great talking point. I would recommend this every time. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and made our evening most enjoyable. I was sorry to learn they are closing shortly, hopefully not permanently!

Pared back and relaxed, great burger menu includes excellent vegan and vegetarian options. Personable, friendly staff, lovely welcoming place and excellent food and beer... Well worth a visit.

This bar & restaurant is suitable for drinks & snacks with family & friends or as a couple. The beer & wine is very good, the snacks & tapas are fresh & a good size. Although with have not had a full meal yet, we are looking forward to trying their Sunday lunch in the next few weeks.

Fantastic place with the best chefs, best bartenders, and best waitstaff. Food was delicious, quick, and well priced for the quality. Absolute 100% recommend for anyone and everyone.

Had a baguette. Was thin and dry. Chicken was meh. Very overpriced. Staff were not very friendly. Won't ever be coming back.

Jessie was unreal! such a good server and gave us such a good time. the drinks were quick on our bottomless brunch and she worked way above our pay grade to give our girl such a good birthday celebration!!

Visited on a busy Friday night, staff were brilliant, attentive and good knowledge on ingredients used. Cheesy garlic pizza bread to start with added 'Nduja and arancini ball 10/10. We shared pizza Parma, rocket salad and burrata cheese. Again 10/10. Even picked up panettone for Christmas! Will definately return, thanks again!

Beautiful pub, with quiz nights and live entertainment. Staff all very welcoming. Worth a visit 😃

We did the Asian Street Food cookery class and I can't want to book another evening.
