Incredibly lovely place with very nice staff! Me and my boyfriend love latin food and as soon as we saw this place on the map it was a must and the food was even better than my expectations. The staff is a family from Venezuela (all incredibly nice) they were even closing when we arrived but the service was 10/10. The music is latin music, so you can expect a bit of salsa, merengue and nice latin vibes in general. We ordered arepas (Ávila and Caracas) and it was excellent. Would definitely recommend to anyone that is visiting Portsmouth and I hope I can go back soon😍🥰 🇻🇪

If I could give 6 stars I would. The best arepas I have eaten in a long time. The tequeños and the delicious empanadas. Not to mention the churros! We devour them. And I went home with a drink for the road. Spectacular. And the attention a 10! I highly recommend it and we will return to try the other arepas. 🙌🏻🙌🏻

A must go to spot. Delicious food and a supper friendly staff that explain all their tasty treats. I went for the Caracas and it was packed with pulled beef, plantains, black beans, plantains, cheese, and a delicious cilantro sauce. It was so good we went back the next day for a late lunch! Got one with chicken in an avocado sauce, plantains & cheese. Freshly made and so many options!

Delicious food, absolutely loved it. All set in an authentic Venezuelan atmosphere with some very jibing music to accompany. You can sense the love and attention the owners have given this restaurant. We were greeted by a lovely lady at the counter.

Authentic Venezuelan food in Southsea. This was a surprising find outside London. The decor makes it feel as if you are in a beach cafe on the Carribbean coast. The arepas were top notch all washed down with Polar beer. Venezuela the way you want to remember it.

I was on holidays in Portsmouth & Southsea and I discovered this amazing place. The vibe was so amazing, food was delicious and it is retro style with latino music. It is perfect place for practicing Spanish. 100% recommending.

Tried Arepas 2 go for the first time with my friends and we loved the food so much. The atmosphere was so friendly and helpful as we weren’t too sure what to get. I had the Arepas Caracas and it was unreal, haven’t eaten anything like it. Definitely give it a go and even better, it’s all gluten free ! Looking forward to next time I can go back :)

Friendly service in a fairly basic dining area , it is simple and quite casual. The food was delicious and simply served as one might expect. Suited me fine and was I well satisfied with the food and service which I did not think too expensive. Well, it's worth a visit, and I won't be a stranger there. It was busy on the night I visited, and for me, the casual dining is one of its attractions.

Absolutely adore this place! Second time I've gone and it's fantastic! The food itself is so good and we just kept ordering. We really enjoy the Empanadas and the Latina fries which taste so good. Also the first time I went with my friend who has to have gluten free food and they were delighted to see so many options. The service is so special, you get such a warm welcome and it feels so lovely and relaxing to just sit in and eat. It's also dog friendly so your furry friend can spend time with you too. I'd definitely highly recommend this place if you are in Portsmouth and want a bite to eat. Definitely one of the most welcoming and wholesome places here and I can't wait to go back for more!

We have spent a few days on vacation in this area, and we have heard about the tasty Venezuelan food they prepare here. We loved their delicious arepas and a homemade chicha to sweeten our day. The service and atmosphere of the place are incredible. I recommend it to everyone, if you pass by, don't hesitate to take it with you for the return trip, like we did, with a couple of empanadas for our return home.

Amazing to put it simply. The food is great, the arepas are reasonably priced and are really filling, the empanadas are different than I'm used to from home but man it's so good! Go try it out if you can. They have a deal when we went on Thursday that's 20% off the arepas AND 10% off if you bought cash. Try it out!

I ordered the beef empandas and the Latino fries and the food was absolutely amazing and service was very friendly and very helpful. The food was very fresh and cooked with love and soul and I would recommend to anyone who wants to try Latin American food for the first time

Absolutely faultless. Lovely small restaurant with a homely feel. The staff are great, very attentive. The food is incredible - we'd never tried Venezuelan food before. We would definitely come back here. The cocktails were 2 for 1 at the time and the Venezuelan beer was really good. A must visit restaurant.

I found this place on Instagram, it caught my attention and we decided to go try it. It was more than enchanting with the attention of the staff, the quality of the food, all delicious, and the cleanliness of the place. It is really worth traveling to Portsmouth to enjoy some good arepas, we have been twice and we will surely return again!!

Love this restaurant. The food is very good, catering for my gluten free diet. Most restaurants you find limited gluten free items. This restaurant most items are gluten free. My favourite restaurant and takeaway.

Amazing food. Everything was great. The atmosphere was great. Beautiful place. VERY friendly staff. Family business so they care and love what they do. You can tell by the quality of the food and how cleaned the place is. You can see the kitchen and how they prepare the food. If you haven't tried please do. You will love it the way i do. The Arepas are gluten free so if you or any of your family members are gluten intolerant then this is the place to go with your family or just for take away. I guarantee Arepas are much better than the typical takeaway burger. Try the arepas with tequeños and a beer (POLAR ) the best combination ever So 5 stars for me. I know every review is 5 star but it really is very good. We ate just vegetarian options and it was delicious. Really very good. Freshly cooked and fantastic flavours.

We live in the local area and have walked pass on many occasion. We visited on Sunday. As we walked in we were greeted by a young and older woman both absolutely lovely, never eaten Venezuelan food before we asked for recommendations which they were only too happy to oblige. Ordered our food and found a table. Atmosphere was good, great Latin music playing in background. Food arrived, looked amazing and tasted excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant. The young lady who served us came over and asked whether our food was good, customer service excellent, she was happy to stay and talk about how they had set up the Restaurant and future ideas. A very enjoyable experience with delicious food.

Fantastic, friendly service. Great food, good portion size, great flavour combinations, definitely ticks all the boxes. The staff have great knowledge and share their recommendations, if you are new to their cooking style, like me, they help you to understand the menu. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed the atmosphere in a beautiful, vibrant snd cozy place. Food is very tasty, Yuca Frita is a must to try here! Staff is always welcoming and nice. I am also lactose intolerant and they have been very cautious about this and very helpful for any changes to the dish I requested because of my intolerance.
