Great place. Burgers are banging. Can't fault them. I've had takeaway from here 4 times now and it's been great every time. A trusty local option. And the staff are lovely and friendly and welcoming. Order with confidence people 👍

Where do I start? This is the first time I've been to a burger restaurant that buys their patties in from a wholesaler (our server admitted this). They had a kind of chewy, rubbery texture that even a 1990s school canteen would have been ashamed of. The fries were tough. The beer was flat. Easily one of the worst meals out I've had in my life. To top it off, the server refused to take any money off the bill to compensate for any of the above. Avoid this place like the plague.

Stunning place to begin with. Catches your eye as you walk past & the art is across the entire place, they even managed to spray paint a high chair 😂 Service was impeccable, we were a large party of 11 (including 4 kids) and they were all seen too first so that the children were happy & fed first. Portion sizes for kids meals were amazing, a full hotdog, side & unlimited drinks for £5.99!! They even discounted one meal as one of our children only wanted the hot dog & nothing more. The adults food was absolutely insane, I’ve never seen a burger stacked so high. Food was all brought out within 15 minutes which was impressive with how large a party we were, as a walk in too! A massive thank you to our lovely waitress Cleo, she couldn’t do enough for us & she was so polite and friendly, did everything with a smile- Thank you for a lovely night to what was beforehand a fairly disastrous day 🩷

Great place to stop for food. The lady who served us was brilliant, happy to put tables together for our large group and had a brilliant vibe which added to the place. The burgers were great and they had a couple of nice beers on tap 🍔🍺👌🏼

I decided to pop in for a hot dog after a long walk along the seafront. There was a surprisingly short wait for my food during which I was offered a bowl of water for my dog. I walked round to the Common to sit and eat but was very disappointed with my meal as the bun was very tough as if it had been microwaved to either warm it or (as is often the case with slightly stale bread) to freshen it up. Though the sausage and toppings were tasty I had to throw most of the bun away as it was inedible. Not only that but having had to eat most of the meal with my fingers I then found that no napkin or hand wipe had been provided. Very disappointed as I've eaten at the Havant restaurant and had no complaints about the food at all. I almost wished I'd bought a cheap hotdog at a seafront burger bar and I won't return here.

Only ever ordered takeaway. Always on time. Always delicious. They do great vegan burgers and you can get cajun fries.

Can’t believe I’ve never found this gem before! Staff were absolutely lovely, food was fab, they catered to gluten and dairy allergies brilliantly and we even got a game of Jenga in. Absolutely awesome - will be back!!!!

Awesome food reasonably priced great customer service

The port solent venue is quite small with the booths not really big enough for the bigger person. The table was really small for 3 people to sit and eat. I ordered the barbie dog, quite disappointed with it. For £10 i got a roll, a dog, so much bbq sauce and mustard that i could barely taste the dog with dehydrated bacon bits and onion. For £10 i would expect a side to be included but i had to order this separately. Seemed over priced for what you actually got. There were little kids running around and screaming with one constantly banging their feet on the wooden back board of the booth. The burgers my guests had were the same size as a happy meal, shame as they looked quite big in the photos. The staff were friendly and did a good job serving us but apart from that i wouldn't return again.

Such a lovely place! Hosted our 4th event here for our university society and it has been amazing. The staff are so patient with us (a big crowd) and the food is lovely! Thank you for putting up with us again and again!

Great food as always! Always very happy to come here, with friendly service. Had a slight issue with the bill but this was fixed swifly and reassuringly. Will continue to come back here!

The lady who served us was an absolute dream, she was friendly, funny and engaging without being overbearing. It was a quiet night in the restaurant so she paid us a lot of attention but it certainly wasn't unwelcome as she was just charming! The food was good, we all enjoyed what we ordered and we had some delicious cocktails too.

The waitress wasn’t very welcoming just put the food down didn’t say what it was the chef was amazing got our order wrong and re did it for us also very chatty, The food on the other hand was pretty tasteless and tasted cheap

An amazing place, order very frequently and always have great food and service. Great vegan selection and great meat burgers as well. Friendly and kind staff, always take time to have cute designs on their bags. Clean and atmospheric seating area. Will always come back

Very nicely decorated place, staff were friendly and the beer was good. Unfortunately it took over an hour to get our food once ordered, with very little update on why. I think there were not enough staff working as there was just one waitress and apparently one chef (Saturday night). The burger was nice enough in the end but the brownie was burnt and cold. It's a shame as it obviously has great reviews and perhaps it normally is better. But my experience was as above.

Went with my fiancee and we both got The Sheriff, some mozzarella sticks, tater tots, as well as Cajun fries and Hot n Spicy fries. The food didn't take long to come out, everything was hot and very tasty. The chicken burgers were cooked perfectly, not dry at all and still crispy. Very happy with everything, will definitely be coming back!

I came here on new year's eve with my partner. She's a vegetarian and I'm not. They had a big menu for both of us and there was lots of variety. Both of us where extremely happy with our meal and the price was fair. The service was great and I believe the lady was called Charlotte who served us who was polite ,chatty and friendly. Would highly recommend.

We were here this afternoon with my daughter and grandson, he voted it the Best Burger ever! We chanced upon this place and we had terrific food in a terrific place, the music is funky and the chef, Jo, was just lovely. There was nothing she didn't put heart and soul into. We definitely recommend and will most certainly be going back. Adults and children alike will enjoy the relaxed vibe, give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

Wow what a gem, really friendly staff, amazing food. I had the foot long hotdog, which was better than any I’ve ever eaten, including on numerous visits to the USA! If you are nearby then stop here, it looks unassuming from the outside, but try it… you’ll be amazed.

By far this is usually the best burger joint in Southsea. Sadly, tonight’s burger was disappointing. It appears they have changed their meat! Normally I’m salivating at the taste but as a regular customer, this was not the case. Despite this, I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager, Mark. I have to say, credit where due. He was excellent, understanding and provided a solution. He was attentive, which was pleasing as a hungry customer. A replacement Billy’s Revenge chicken burger was sent out instantly and it did not disappoint. If you know this place well, don’t be surprised if you experience the same. Big thanks to Mark and his team for turning it around. He even included a nice little surprise with my order. Your credibility is up there and I will be back 👍🏻

Came in for takeout, but ended up staying for a drink. Jo is a absolute legend. She made us feel so welcome and was an utter delight. We had such a great time waiting for our food, we will most certainly be back for a sit down meal soon. 10/10

Came here tonight for my birthday, brilliant meal, food was fantastic and the host was top tier couldn't recommend any higher

Came in for a takeaway order on a really busy Saturday evening and Jo couldn't have been more accommodating. Got us a nice comfy sofa while we waited and fed us delicious craft ciders to keep us occupied. Super friendly staff considering how busy they were and top notch food to match!

Turned up with our 10 week old on Friday for lunch and although the place isn't really kitted out for little babies we were made so very welcome. Probably the most welcome anywhere yet with the little one. The food was wicked too - veggie hotdogs quite amazing! Thanks lots had a lovely time.

A really great vibe here with some lovely people. A wide range of amazingly tasting burgers. They also have a verity of hot dogs and different loaded fries. The soft drinks have free refills of which for the price is really worth it. Can't wait to go back here.
