Very lovely Sunday meal, served by Millie in Portsmouth 7bone. She was extra helpful with the veggie options and made sure we got what we ordered.

Great lunch today. The veggie alternatives were really tasty, I had the Robert Johnston which was really filling. The fries had garlic mayo and cheese topping and were delicious. We also had the onion straws which could become addictive. Potions were big and hot. We were served by Millie who was really helpful and took time to talk us through the veggie/vegan options.Millie was friendly but not intrusive. We would definitely come back

This is hands down the best burger I’ve ever tasted! I highly recommend this spot, especially for Muslims, as all the food is halal and absolutely delicious. The ambiance is fantastic, and our server, Millie, was incredibly kind and attentive.

Disappointing Experience with 7Bone Burger, Portsmouth We placed an order with via Deliveroo, spending over £130 that’s after (20%) off, and the experience was extremely disappointing. The food arrived in two separate deliveries, 10 minutes apart, which was already inconvenient. By the time it arrived, the food was cold. Much of the order was also incorrect—one burger that was requested without cheese came with cheese. Additionally, none of the items were labeled, so we had to sift through everything to figure out whose order was whose. To make matters worse, the melted cheese for the chips was served in a tub, but it had hardened by the time it arrived, making it impossible to drizzle over the chips as intended. For the price we paid, we expected much better service, attention to detail, and food quality. This experience left us very unhappy, and we won’t be ordering from here again unless significant improvements are made or I receive contact from someone.

Best burger I've ever had. It was just out of this world. The bun was soft and had a nice glazy sheen and was slightly sweet and creamy, the balance was so well thought out. Of course, the actual beef was quality and was very tasty (unlike Maccys or BK which are bland and dry), I had the green chilli burger. The heat really gave it a nice kick. If I knew how to make their burgers, I would make this once a week at least.

While the food was nice, and the service was friendly enough, I was absolutely shocked at how filthy the tables were. They're wooden tables and there was so much old food and gunk stuck in between the wooden slats that it completely spoiled the meal for me. I've never sat at a filthier table in a restaurant. I won't return.

First things first, there's a QR code used to *order*, but they do provide physical menus (which are actually really nicely designed). The wifi wasn't working so I ordered traditionally instead of via the QR code. The waitress (a blond girl) was very nice though, great service from her. Okay, food. I got two different kinds of chicken tenders, they seriously sucked. They were bland and tasteless (aside from the burnt taste), and the texture was no different. Soft, but not in a good way at all. Tenders should be just that: tender, with a nice solid batter. These were just soft inside and the batter was absolutely pathetic. The burgers were pretty mid, on the low end of decent. And they only cook the beef either rare or well done... why?? The chili cheese fries were okay, not great though. The only actually good thing I tried was the Oreo milkshake, it was really thick and a bit too sweet, but overall pretty tasty. Decent atmosphere, nothing amazing but it was alright. My group spent about 15-20£ per person. I could imagine coming here with friends just for some fries and a milkshake. It's just a small town diner... I can see why locals may like it, but I'm used to bigger cities where the average food (even at a small local spot) is considerably better. Wouldn't recommend.

I absolutely love 7Bone and have gone plenty of times now with friends, the food is excellent and always consistent. I could never complain. Recently went with a couple friends again and got a Prince Charles is Overrated, whilst my friend got a PBBJ. We were welcomed and treated kindly, Jake handled most of our order and was super helpful throughout the experience :) I would definitely recommend 7bone to everyone.

Burger was quite literally raw, just seared on the outside, Mac and cheese had no flavour & tasteless, cheese burger tacos tasted of nothing other than salt. Terrible.

Ok. Personally get put off when asked to use QR codes to order and pay but luckily no fuss they accepted and took our orders at the table. Was anticipating a better seasoned burger, was ok but I expected more. Tried the paprika fries, nothing amazing. I think you should give it a go. Wasn't bad but not what I hoped it would be. You'll probably love it more than we did.

When wanted to order we were told we had to do it through an app even though there were 3 members of staff doing nothing. Only one of us could get her app to work while the rest of us struggled. We asked a member of staff again if we can order normally and he said no it has to be through the app. After I persisted again with the staff as we could not get through on the app and also by saying we will leave if we can't order, all of a sudden they were willing to take our order properly. Stop with the app rubbish

Found this place by accident but we will certainly be using it in the future.

Not been for years, and visited on 05/11/24. You now need to order via QR code which is no real problem. Prices not cheap. But why did it take 45mins for some burgers & fries to be cooked. They did seem to be pushing out more deliveries than concentrating on the waiting customers and it wasnt that busy, dread to think how long it would have been if they were. App automatically also adds a tip, what for? waitress doesn't do much now.

Pretty poor really. Food Luke warm and very ordinary. The staff don't understand the difference between starter and mains. The wine is awful and the food really greasy. Overall, great at 1am after a skin full, but not to be considered if sober. Not cheap either, value for money no stars!!!

Massive dip in quality at an old favourite. Service was slow, 40mins from app ordering to receiving food. Food quality is very poor. Fries all overcooked and hard. Poutine curds not broken up, little meat in the poutine. Chicken burger incredibly dry. Everything over seasoned. Milkshakes were good though. Overall, it's no longer worth a visit.

Really nice burgers I enjoyed mines.. been there a few times, and that place never disappoint.. to all military personnel, if you're there makesure you asked for the discount and show your I.D. They do respect all military..

I cannot emphasise how much I love this place. I’d been keeping an eye on them for a while, and was ecstatic to find one in the city when I came to university! I’ve been here a few times, and the food has always been fantastic. There’s so much on the menu I still need to try - craving it again just writing this review… I honestly dread finishing uni and moving back home because there’s no 7bone near my hometown! Please bring one to somewhere in/closer to Surrey!🙏💛

Absolutely terrible - waited 50 minutes for food (on a Wednesday evening!) and ended up cancelling order as had to get to the theatre show. Stop taking ridiculous numbers of app delivery orders and prioritise your actual restaurant customers!

Always a decent burger at 7 bone. They've changed the way you order lately, which I wasn't keen on, but at the end when you're all done it started to make sense. Just a thumbs up and a 'thank you' and you're on your way and not hanging about for a bill or whatever.

The food is good, but it's a bit disappointing how they treat the 'loyal' customers. My partner and I used to go often, but we haven't been in the last couple of months because I am still waiting for my stamp to appear in my loyalty card, after the last meal we had there! And that would have given us free food. I have emailed multiple times the Portsmouth team, but nothing has happened yet! Shame really, I was looking forward to come back.

Best burgers in Portsmouth. The food is really good, especially the smashed burgers. They seem to get a lot of take out orders so wait times can be a bit longer. Lots of variety on the burgers, so something for everyone. It's hard to comment on the service when you order yourself on the app. I'd much rather someone take my order.

Nice selection of different burgers, ingredients really tasty with a good match in between each other, the meat was cooked perfectly as I like and the chips were fantastic. Nice and interesting selection of beers and really polite and accommodating service.

Available to eat in or take out, with lovely welcoming staff which all are very polite and accommodating! Food has always been lovely and hot and fairly priced for high quality!

Food and atmosphere were great, though the music was a bit loud and I asked my patty’s well done but I got rare to medium. Gluten-free buns are available, so you can enjoy a meal that suits your diet. The fries are a must-try!

I can’t say this enough, GO TO 7Bone Burger!!! As an American, I have severally missed a well seasoned, tasty burger and the “Prince Charles is overrated” with smashed patties was perfectly seasoned and crispy. My partner loved his “Ian with 3 eyes” and the “dirty fries” were great as well but I would have liked them to be a bit more crunchy.

Would recommend. Me and my son had some quality burger and fries here. The staff were super helpful and we really enjoyed our food. Well spaced out seating and food came out in good time. Well worth a visit.

Not faulting our server, but it took absolutely forever to get our order. Other tables had the same remarks. Burgers once we got them were incredible.

Order placed through Deliveroo and missing items again from 7 Bone, called the restaurant and palmed off to Deliveroo, Deliveroo won't help as usually. Money paid without the full order being delivered. Absolutely fed up wasting my money! It's a shame because the food is great but can't keep paying for an order that isn't fully delivered.

Menu made no sense and the food tasted like a heart attack, too much salt

7bone is me and my partners FAVOURITE place, the staff are always so welcoming and the burgers are to dieeeee for. I always get the buttermilk onion fry things are they are AMAZING. I recommend this place to anyone. 10/10

The patties and fries were way too salty. I like a smashed pattie burger normally but this left me feeling like I needed to down a litre of water! ____ In response to below because you can't reply. The seasoning is meant to be about 1/6 salt not 5/6!

The food was amazing and the service wasn't too bad but it seemed our server was new as she was unsure but she was still super helpful and very warm and welcoming, however when I enquired about a drink on the cocktails and hard shakes menu all bar 3 drinks were unavailable which was shocking for saying its only a Tuesday. It was my first time so it could be to do with their popularity but it wasn't the best situation. However, the atmosphere was very chill and family friendly and I would 100% go again without a doubt.

Haven’t been to 7 bone since last year back In November and the food was great. Went back this year on Sunday with my girlfriend and save to say the burger seems to be much smaller than what I remembered. Prices have gone up massively and you have to pay for a service charge which you order and pay on your phone anyway? The only service we had was they gave us our drinks and food that was It and wasn’t even asked If we was enjoying the food either. It’s a shame because I really rated this place a lot but I think that ship has sailed unfortunately.

This restaurant was incredible. We were served by very polite waitresses. The service was good. The burgers were incredibly. Probably one of the best burgers I have had in a long time. They had nice soft buns with the burger cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Burgers are excellent as are the chips onion straws are not as good as they were very bitty as if made with offcuts as opposed to fully sliced onion service was very good but they lacked a good selection of alcohol

Its a place where the food is good but i didn't like the way they served their food on tin plates and kitchen roll not serviettes plus chips in a bucket and they charged you top prices not good in my opinion

Excellent burgers with innovative flavour and texture combinations and a lifetime of amazing sides to try out. Fries portions are huge and come with a spicy dust which isn't my thing but I just ask for them without. You can't book a table but we can usually get in for 2 without waiting and when we went with a big group the other week they let us go to the pub across the road while we waited 30 mins.

Good food and the service was very quick. Not a particularly busy evening but the staff were very attentive. Looking forward to my next visit.

Booked a table, seated at time, however was left there quite a while before someone came to us. Drinks order taken and then just left....... So we decided to do everything on the app and that was lot quicker.

Chicken garlicmayo starters with no taste of garlic, burger with blue cheese the size of a 50p with out the taste of cheese. Very disappointing. chips with cheese and bacon and the thick shakes saved the complaint. Wont be going back. Thurs 30th may 730pm

I have been meaning to order from here for a while now as friend have been telling me this place is better than Merchant House. Ordered the triple B burger (blue cheese and onion jam) and the Buffalo blue cheese wings. The food was excellent and I think they are on-par with Merchant House. The burgers from Merchant House are slightly more expensive but are a lot larger but I really did enjoy my meal from 7bone and will definitely visit again. The burger was incredibly rich and flavourful and the patty was very tender and juicy. I'm not a fan of the silly names for everything but damn, the burger was good - very soft and very high quality. The wings were also excellent. I have never experienced wings where the meat literally falls off the bone as well as these wings do. The buffalo sauce was great and pairs with their blue cheese perfectly. The presentation of the boxes were great and it did not take long to arrive. Probably one of the best burgers I have ever had from a place like this. Better than Umami Street food but on-par with Merchant House. Both establishments doing great things! I wish people would eat more food like this rather than that garbage from Kens. Will definitely order again.

Just curiously popped in. Had a Katsu Sando absolutely bang on tasty, couple of Roadie Signature Brew IPA to keep me honest, proper tidy ale. I wish I was more hungry as the entire menu looks as good as my order. Table next door was dripping in good looking grub. Definitely worth a visit. Service was really good all ordered and paid for in a slick app. Music right up my strasse……go here if you can.

Staff are great, Chefs are great, but upper management has messed up everything here. No more table service, no till service, you have to order online. They are NOT ALLOWED to cook burgers medium even if you ask. Don't take cash. And it keeps going. Staff are trying to be helpful, but management/decision makers are forcing the place to be bad. Shame as it was one of our favourite burger places last year. I'd say avoid it till they finally sort it out.

The burgers has nothing like shown on the photos I have paid 12£ per burger and get burger with size of McDonald's sever menu I'm deeply disappointed and I won't order ever again I'm sorry but I feel like ripped off

Amazing burger, extensive menu. Great for vegetarians or those with dietary needs. My husband enjoyed the craft beer. Daughter loved the milkshake. Will definitely be back to try more. The frickles were amazing.

Absolutely delicious food! Was recommended here by a friend. I was a bit skeptical as I first walked in as the decor isn't what you might expect. But right away the staff were super friendly and we were seated quickly even though it was extremely busy. The food. Omg. I'd suggest sharing a plate of chips as they are HUGE. The burger was probably the best burger I've had. Will definitely return

The 🍔 burgers here are fantastic, some of the best I have ever had across the globe. The Donnie Trump is surprisingly delicious and kind of funny, great presentation. Combined with the fries, a coke it a perfect meal. Punch it up with a bourbon shake, and you are at the PhD level for your burger experience. Friendly folks and a good atmosphere.
