I love this restaurant! The food is fantastic and the service excellent. The employees are always attentive and always ask if everything is ok with the food. I recommend!

Paulina served my partner and I for our meal out to celebrate his Birthday and she was amazing. Very friendly and lovely, and made sure to get all my vegan food ordered correctly. I had the vegan mac and cheese, which was good but they used to do a better one! Would still advise for any vegans (or non), the service was amazing, and they were really careful with making sure my food was fully allergy compliant (I'm lactose intolerant). Have been here before and will happily return!

I brought my daughter and her friends for dinner for her 13th birthday. From the moment we walked in we were looked after, even to the point I felt comfortable enough to let them eat alone. The staff were so attentive and made sure they had the full experience. The food came out hot and delicious & they did the birthday music, where a few of the staff came over and made it really special! Big shout out to Jenny! Thanks for looking after us!

Had a lovely lunch here - really lovely service from an exceptional waitress nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be returning.

Service was fast, but food definitely could’ve been hotter as some bits of our burgers were warmer than others, but it was okay (we did see that it was sat under the heat lamp for a while unnecessarily). They have some new items on their menu now, so it was nice to try something different. They did try and charge us £4.45 instead of £1.25 for onion rings in a burger… I queried it and our server just looked at me blankly, but luckily this was sorted in the end. The toilets are in serious need of some TLC and a deep clean… this time they had soap which made a change from our previous couple of visits🫣!

Tricia was lovely and friendly. Very helpful and good at her job. Really enjoyed them putting a candle in my partner's desert and playing Happy birthday to him.

We visited on a night that they were extremely under staffed which was explained to us the moment we walked in, a table of 12 like we were was probably the last thing they needed that evening but we were treated amazingly. We were there to celebrate my mums 60th Birthday and our server Sam went above and beyond to make our night memorable. He was visibly running round the restaurant all evening working his socks off and never dropped the ball for a minute, he even kindly offered to make a meal for our late guests who had been at hospital all day and asked for us to let him know when they were 15mins away so the food would be hot and fresh for them. Absolutely amazing service and he is an absolute credit to your team. Thank you Sam

I guess it depends on the day??? Restaurant looks uncared for and grotty. Staff didn’t seem to care. Asked for two Stars and Strips platters and was told there were no potato dippers so we couldn’t have it? Could we replace them for chips then….still no. Decided on a shared platter (not much in the two tbh) it arrived in good time but everything was luke warm. Server discounted our bill after we complained but the deed was done. NOT IMPRESSED. Will not return!!

We always have a good experience at F&Bs, but this time was made extra special by a superb lady working at the Portsmouth restaurant (Emma) - thank you 😊

Popped in for a quick dinner, service was pretty slow (lack of staff I think). Chicken burger overcooked, veggie burger was fine, chips good, however the meatballs actually made my husband unwell later. Wouldn’t go back I’m afraid.

Paulina was an excellent host shepolite and helpful. My grandson said 'she's nice' so bigthumbs up.

Restaurant is tired needs some tlc. Food wasn't great and service was slow. Expensive for what you get.

When the food arrived, it was ok (just ok mind). Unfortunately the service was disappointing, bordering on rude. The food was slow, including the 3 kids bowls of ice cream which should have taken 30 seconds. Our waiter was trying, so credit for that. However he started clearing plates while people at the table were still eating and his colleagues were flat out ignoring our table. You shouldn’t have to raise your voice to get a glass of water or have the poor guy running across the restaurant because his ‘team’ members are blanking us. Also I don’t like to see the staff smoking right outside the entrance, even as a smoker myself it really does not look good. We will not be eating here again.

The meal was lovely and the evening was going well, we had our mains and were waiting for our waiter to ask us if we wanted anymore drinks, after waiting for several minutes, i decided to visit the redtroom. When I returned from the restroom and found the bill on our table I guessed that was our visit over. Midway through a conversation with the wife, our waiter appeared asking for us to pay the bill. Didnt even wait for me to finish my sentance, No sorry to interrupt or anything. The actual venue was nice with music in the background, facilities were nice and clean. Some members of staff looked really busy, others not so much.

The food and service was amazing, friendly, happy staff and the food was cooked well and tasted delicious. The only little problem we had was the impromptu singing of happy birthday through out our time in the restaurant, this is absolutely ok and enjoyable for most, but a little warning on the door that it might happen would have helped our autistic child, who found it difficult as the noise level went up unexpectedly. Apart from that it was an enjoyable lunch.

Sam was a funny and lovely waiter, who was enthusiastic throughout the night. Very nice staff.

Not good. Ordered a coke, got told only had diet so asked for Fanta, got diet Fanta which I can't stand. The hot dog and fries were so salty. Best part was the slaw really. Won't be returning, quality has gone downhill.

Oh my what on earth has gone so wrong, food is now such low quality and so over priced for what it is took over 3 hours to eat here and food was wrong twice sadly. Wasnt our servers fault they went above and beyond to try to be nice and rise above all the challenges of things being made wrong and running out. Used to be a truely amazing place to eat.

We had lunch here, we waited nearly 35mins, people who come in after us got their food before us. Steak was very tough, chips were like they had been cooked, cooked and cooked again. Tough as old boots. First time we have ever been to a frankie and benny's, sign up to get 1 meal free and it was about 3 hours after we had been it arrived in my inbox

We (3 people) stopped by for just a dessert after a night out and were met so warmly by the team. We had great interactions with members of staff including the manager. We were celebrating a birthday and once they realised this, they served complimentary ice cream with a candle and music. Wish we'd had our whole meal there! 5 Stars! Thank you so much!

I visited this restaurant recently. Great food and the pricing is really good. The person who took care of our table was called Tricia. She was very warm, welcoming and lovely throughout. She did an amazing job making sure we were okay even though it was a really busy day and time.

Tricia was amazing yesterday when me and my friend came. Being able to maintain that level of energy whilst also being able to provide high tier customer service is amazing. Well done to you!

Lovely late afternoon meal for 5. Could have done with a table for 5 with chairs rather than a static table with two static benches. Quite restricted in elbow room. Our meals were great as were the drinks. Staff very attentive and caring.Lovely atmosphere. Not cheap but reasonable in view of location.

Never been before but after the cinema decided to give it a try. The manager couldn’t have done any more for me and the waitress Jenny was just as professional. I loved my meatball pasta and glass of wine and will definitely go again. Even though the restaurant was busy with half term families I didn’t have to wait long and the staff were very accommodating to the children

Not a great start, we were handed food menus which were covered in food splatter, yuck. They just need a wipe, it’s not difficult. Had to ask for more serviettes as they weren't replenished when the table was relaid. The ledge alongside our table of two hasn’t seen a cloth in weeks by the looks of it, covered in dust and filth. Longer than usual wait for food with no explanation why. Food was good, waitress pleasant. Won’t rush back.
