The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Maidstone South East

Centrally located in town centre. Nice server, helpful too when ingredients queried. Service quite slow but the fayre is fresh and beautifully presented. Prices are quite steep imho.

We visited Wings for lunch on a Saturday. It was quiet at opening time ( midday) but getting busier as time went on. Service was quick and friendly. We had baked potato with cheese ( mountain s of cheese) and chicken curry, with two coffee. Total bill including a bag of crisps was just under £25. It was good value good and wonderful to watch the Spitfires take off at the Aerodrome. We’ll worth visiting.

we had greggs delivery today the were on time and got everything we ordered but the pastries could of been warmer

Could not fault the food which was delicious sadly there were other diners nearby with no consideration or etiquette playing their phones loudly so everyone could hear it. Asked the staff to request that a polite word is said to those..but staff didn't so we had to ask those with loud phones nicely to turn their phones down. Ridiculous ..people have no awareness or consideration for other diners...

Update 2025 May Guinness £5.80, Masterbrew £4.20 in happy hour. Update 2025 March Master brew £4:75 a pint wow!! Update 2024 July. Whitstable bay not available now. Please check to see what beers are available under the "Happy Hours" as there are only a few. Lovely talkative staff. Update 2024 May. Not sure when the pubs name officially changed back to the Duke of Edinburgh, but it has. Under new management again, staff nice and friendly, Whitstable Bay £4.00 a pint in happy hour (between 16:00 and 19:00). Update 2023 June. Under new management again, Master brew £4.25. Have been informed they are getting Spitfire and a guest ale. Definitely a more enjoyable visit than my last visit. Staff nice and friendly. Not sure if they are going to do any food, this may put some people off. Update 2023 May. I was looking forward to a beer in the Rockin Robin after it's re-opening under new management, but it was closed even though it was advertised as open (issue with gas, not sure if it was heating gas or beer dispense gas) , will have to reduce my star rating until I have sampled the beer and the staff. The lower out side area was completely devoid of any seating or tables. 2022 Great place for a beer or two. This is like a real pub of 40 years ago.

Ok so ordered our first delivery with this company really looking forward to it as it’s cluck and blade ! The food arrived late freezing cold and the chicken burger was soggy batter falling off chicken the burger had no flavour the garlic source was awful was watery! When called the pub to find out about our delivery the lady was very abrupt - saying we’re so busy only one person in kitchen and didn’t give us a straight answer on delivery had to call twice second time she was the same we are 5 mins from pub and lady said driver had left took him 30 mins from then to get to us and as I said most of it went in the bin. No customer service skills it’s not our problem your under staffed maybe as a business your taken to much on and need a new manager - I would never return awful food and staff was rude such as shame as just moved to area and was going to pop in but I won’t bother now much nicer pubs with great service and lovely welcoming staff in loose and surrounding areas we have had bad stomach problems never again.

Perfect - and such a wide choice on the menu - we will be back (this was our second recent visit anyway)

Five of us had a meal each and drinks, all were lovely. The staff are friendly and pleasant. Good food unlike microwaved food from a pub or greasy food from a cafe. We went to the Bistro in Rainham and we will be going back again. Long may it stay there!

Tried the Polish zapiekanka, highly recommend it. It was delicious and the size was very good for its price. Also, I tried a few drinks and all fulfilled my expectations, absolutely delicious! The seating was comfortable, and the setting looked quite nice. I will for sure come here again.

Our cycling group were warmly welcomed for our lunch. There was a good choice of light bites and baguettes, we all enjoyed our choice, which was served in their spacious garden - the cherries were in spectacular blossom.

Come here regularly as the breakfast is always lovely. In fact all the food is good. The staff are lovely, always happy and friendly - nothing is too much trouble. Would highly recommend a visit.

Visited this cafe again today February 18th. Was busy,but got a table for our family group of 3. We were served by the lovely waitress Rosie. She took our order,and it wasn't long before we got our food and teas. We had two breakfasts and one double sausage, double eggs and chips. The food was very nice. We had a lovely experience. Rosie was very friendly and efficient. Thank you to all the staff,kitchen staff. Well done. Will visit again next time we visit Maidstone. 😀.

I've wanted to visit this pub for quite a while now and ended up going just before Halloween. On entering, I didn't expect to see such a wonderful array of ghostly and ghoulish decor - amazing - I wonder why they don't advertise this locally? The pub was quiet but was given a warm welcome by the locals and bar staff. The lunch menu was written on the chalkboard above the bar, offering very reasonably priced filled jacket potatoes and baguettes as well as a decent selection of beers and wines. The pub is dog friendly and mine felt right at home there! Will definitely return....

We love this place. We are keen cyclists and are frequent visitors to foodies. The staff are always polite and helpful. They make the best coffee in Headcorn and the food is always delicious. We heard today that they will be closing we are all very sad to hear this. It’s definitely our favourite place in the village. Please don’t close.
