Lovely pub lunch in this country pub. Friendly and quick service. We both had lasagne which was awesome. Reasonable prices. Will be back.

What a wonderful pub!!! Made to feel welcome by staff and regulars. The food was amazing!! Arrived on Sunday and had Sunday lunch. Portions are huge and food was gorgeous . Had lunch the following day which was equally as tasty. Highly recommend.

We spotted a sign for the pub on our drive home cross country from Maidstone to the south coast. We were very lucky to get a table for lunch on Easter Friday, the food and service was great, good varied menu with sizeable portions and good value for money too. Good range of real ales on tap, wines, selection of non alcoholic beers and soft drinks. Highly recommended.

We had lunch there with friends, good menu choice and a special board. Food cooked very well and at a reasonable price. Good ale selection and a friendly welcome. Will come again.

Lovely meal in here in front of a fire in December with family. It’s a lovely cosy pub and the staff are so friendly. I had the pie and chips - the steak was succulent and juicy but the pastry was a little soggy. Nothing major and I still enjoyed it!! The menu is really varied - it was sausage night and I was tempted! Great value and lovely place - will come again.

This lovely pub is so very welcoming, its the kind of place you can pop in after work for a quick pint or spend a relaxing day in the wonderful beer garden with friends and family.

The best chips, great staff & a landlord and landlady who cannot be rivalled. Perfect family lunch, with booking changed at short notice and not a single problem. Would highly recommend - lovely beer garden and plenty for families with young children too.

£125 including tip for 5 people for 2 courses including drinks - result! Big platefuls (was staggered by the number of prawns in my daughter's bacon and prawn stir fry). Loads of variety in the menu with thankfully loads of veggie choice, very tasty too....

Ate there the other night, my husband's starter was very tasty but unfortunately our mains were just ok. My husband realised after he had finished that he did not get any peas and also the grilled tomato had only been shown the grill as it was uncooked so he left it. So he had a piece of fillet steak that I usually buy for about £6, some chips and a large mushroom. This was 5p short of £20! My fish and chips were ok but the chips had a lot of black eyes but I couldn't eat them all so no matter The desert was just ok, The ice cream with it delicious. We did not say anything as we were so hungry! Also the staff were very nice,,pleasant and friendly.Very disappointed as we had read such good reviews that we travelled from south London in bad weather to eat there. Perhaps we were just unlucky as the table next to us had some very nice looking meals!
