Stopped in for a drink on a whim while exploring the area. The manager was super hospitable and gave us super helpful hints on where to go and what to see. The whole staff were easy to talk to and the environment was pleasant and clean. Would definitely come back

Update 2024 May Under new management again, staff nice and friendly, Whitstable Bay £4.00 a pint in happy hour (between 16:00 and 19:00). Update 2023 June. Under new management again, Master brew £4.25. Have been informed they are getting Spitfire and a guest ale. Definitely a more enjoyable visit than my last visit. Staff nice and friendly. Not sure if they are going to do any food, this may put some people off. Update 2023 May. I was looking forward to a beer in the Rockin Robin after it's re-opening under new management, but it was closed even though it was advertised as open (issue with gas, not sure if it was heating gas or beer dispense gas) , will have to reduce my star rating until I have sampled the beer and the staff. The lower out side area was completely devoid of any seating or tables. 2022 Great place for a beer or two. This is like a real pub of 40 years ago.

They just launched rebranded last night. So the publican has loads on his to do list. But for now the basics are up & running with Sky sports ( soon to be 2 separate channel displays), what appears to be a very comfortable indoor/outdoor area & comfy indoors. Large car park with ramp access to rear entrance. We wish him all the very best in his new venture.

Brilliant pub with great live music Location is only reason its not a 5 out 5 ie not a countryside location but can't fault it other than that

We visited Rockin Robin for evening drinks and eats; The place serves very good snacks and food; the ambiance is wonderful, the food offers great value for money; we will definitely revisit on the next trip

The pub was empty but, beer was excellent the food was very very good. The steak was excellent and the sides were sublime. Would absolutely recommend.

Pleased it is going back to the Duke....I worked there 25 years ago and Colin had it packed, alot has changed since but it will always be the Duke to so many people

Went to see a live band, good venue.

I come in on Sundays for the roast dinners and there are super great the roast spuds are brilliant you have a choice of 3 to 4 meats Yorkshires are homemade not shop bought ones brilliant The staff are very friendly and nice home cook food in the week as well which is also very nice and on a Thursday they do a steak night as well Top stars and after a year not one thing as change food is still great as just had a roast dinner turkey and all cook right

Went there for late Sunday lunch. Not too busy in the bar but staff very friendly and helpful. Had to try the Rokin Robin ale and was offered a small amount just to try, had a pint - it is a delight. Had a roast pork and a roast chicken with all the trimmings. All very nice and tasty. All in all was a very nice time so highly recommended

Pre booked for a Sunday roast although there was plenty of tables for walk ins. Little bit disorganised at the bar and placing our orders, but friendly staff. Roast was o.k bit like your granny would of served in the 80’s. If they jazzed up the vegetable offering we would probably return.

Nice pub to spend a couple of hours in when we had guests over. Busy, but that can't be a bad thing. Much more spacious inside than it looks outside.

Awesome place. Was looking for a coffee while out on a ride with the bike and everything around was shut. The lady that was working was so lovely and offered to make a coffee although they were still not open. Highly recommeneded place and will be back soon within working hours this time. Thank you

Good pub. Plenty of seating in the car park. Crisps not great but pork scratchings make up for it.

Excellent. Christmas day lunch and everything was superb.

Surprisingly good food and amazingly good value. All served with a smile. Would definitely eat there again. Shut very early this evening but it was very quiet so understandable.

We pre ordered food, and we arrived at the right time we were told. Took them ages to come get us our drink and one hour in, still no appetizer which were prawn and spring rolls. Terrible service, its endless apologies. Water of time dont come here

The best food and most welcoming staff, all for amazing value. Michelle and her team are lovely, definitely a must visit in Barming. The Sunday roast is amazing, and the Monday - Wednesday Fiver Deal is great value.

After reading the last review, I was sceptical about visiting but as most reviews state, my experience was certainly not a disappointment! From the value and quality of the food, to the friendly staff and the cleanliness of the pub, everything was amazing and the experience was made even better by the personal interactions with the landlady who made sure everything was okay both for me and my friends and the other tables around us. Excellent service and experience all round! Could not fault at all - thank you.

Called in for a breakfast as we were rained off on site, service was good, the food was good, what more could you ask for . Not being a local I've only drank in there a couple of times but it's a nice friendly pub and your made welcome.

First time trying out RROTG. Went down on a weekday so missed out on the chance for live music but was a nice atmosphere, big garden for those smokers and/or people who want to be outside, prices seemed reasonable for a local pub and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Lovely local boozer, only thing missing is a pool table otherwise i'd give 5 stars!

Very friendly staff and efficient service. I choose the omelette with cheese, ham and mushrooms. I have to say that this was one of the best I have ever had, the colour was a golden yellow and accompanied by lovely mushrooms, proper ham and was cooked perfectly. You may say a simple dish but I have had many that have been under or over cooked or with poor quality ingredients.

lovely pub with a great friendly atmosphere. The food was fab. I had the ploughman's which was delicious and plentiful and my partner went for the sirloin steak which was cooked to perfection. Reasonable priced and cannot fault the service.

Had a really lovely meal out with a group of friends tonight... making the most of the discount. I can honestly say its one of the best meals ive had out in a while. The food was delicious.. such generous portions of homecooked food. Steak was cooked to perfection!! My friends dinners were also delicious. Not a trace of food was left! A lovely friendly environment. Couldn't help notice how everything was being cleaned thoroughly and regularly as well as the toilets. Will definitely be returning again with my family

Home cooked fresh veg, home made Yorkshire puddings ! Cauliflower cheese , proper foasted meat crispy roast potatoes. Very picky with roasts as one at home always good but the rocking roast is the best I have had. Absolutely fantastic! Yum yum 😋

Went during the Eat to Help dates, unfortunately the pub was not really geared up for the large number of people they had booked in. We had to wait for an hour to have our food order taken, this was after asking twice if we could order. Also I overheard the cook saying slow the orders down as she could not cope. Food okay, the Camembert was overcooked and the Rockin Robin burger speciality was no more than a burger with cheese and bacon. I was disappointed but will try again in a less busier time.

Went to the Robin to celebrate our friend’s anniversary. Unfortunately local road works cut the electricity. Michelle and her team soldiered on to make us and everyone comfortable. Power back on and a slight delay to food orders but it was worth the wait. The food is exceptional and plentiful especially with ‘eat out to help out’ discount. How could anyone complain. Ok the road works got load but that’s nothing to do with the Robin. Highly recommended

Went to RROTG for friends anniversary, what amazing food, Michelle and her team are so friendly and welcoming. The pub has been redecorated and looks very bright and welcoming.

Food was nice but there was hardly any menu and had no dessert menu because of the half price meals and we couldn't have steak because they was for another night

Great pub, great fresh homemade food, excellent value.The Robin Reliant is a really nice pint.Having seen earlier reviews , the pub has newly installed hand dryers and Sanitisers , the card machine also works now.The refurb really brightens it up.Plenty of seating in the beer garden with table service, it is accessible from fountain lane, so no need to go inside if you prefer not to

Recently visited Rockin Robin on the Green and was not disappointed. The pub has been beautifully refurbished and a big 'Thumbs Up' for the amazing food being served which is all freshly prepared. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and am looking forward to my next visit. The Sunday roasts are delicious and you certainly won't leave hungry! Even the dogs were welcomed and got some 'doggie treats'!!!

I have read the reviews about the RROTG, and they are mostly from the past before Michelle and Robin took over. In my experience, and I have been drinking in this pub for over 30 years, Michelle and her staff are the friendliest, caring and the most fun staff in all that time. The food is excellent and the gluten free was a sales gimmick from the past, sorry Caeliacs but most people wanting gluten free are not Caeliacs. I would openly say to Michelle and Robin however, please get the card reader and hand drier situation sorted.Andy

We live in a modern society and world with modern technology and gadgets, right? Well the pub wouldn't accept cash as their card reader system was down, I understand if it's down but wouldn't that be a priority to have it fixed? Also, watch the sudden deep step by the traffic lights entrance, it's a real hazard. Another mediocre pub where walk in seems to be ostracized by the bar maid. Sorry love, but we customers pay your wages?

We have eaten at the Rocking Robin on a few occassions and have never been disappointed. Everyone is so friendly and the food is yummy, good portions, you will not leave hungry. Excellent value for money. Sunday lunches are great too.
