We stopped at the Foodies Emporium on the way to our Virgin Balloon ride as it looked nice from the outside . We was pleasantly surprised with the different snacks and sandwiches that they had on sale we had a Ploughman’s lunch followed by some hot scones which were delicious. It’s worth stopping at Foodies you will not be disappointed

Foodies is both a shop and cafe. The shop part has lots of interesting food and alcohol, including items for dietary requirements (vegan, gluten free etc). Great for a gift or if you want to treat yourself. They also have a cafe which does eat in or take away options. I visited the cafe recently and had my baby with me. The staff were really helpful bringing my order to me while I was juggling the pram and baby.

We stepped in today and being both vegan and gluten free expected to leave empty handed. Not only did the women offer us options, but continued to add to the options with real warmth and consideration. The menu was flexible to our needs and this felt great. We were able to eat well, we were welcome, and most of all, felt a friendliness that is rare and very welcome. Thank you all.

We went as a family for light lunch and because we like deli type places. This one did not dissappoint. Really attentive staff, great light lunch options and divine cakes. We also purchased from the store where there is a good choice of wines, food, biscuits and lots of other cupboard favourites. Definitely going again!

We have visited this coffee shop on numerous occasions and it's become our go to for a lovely lunch or take away coffee and a cake! Ignore the other reviews complaining about "another coffee shop" this place far surpasses Costa and other cafés in Headcorn! So glad it's here and hopefully here to stay! Never had an issue with staff and the service is top notch. Overall highly recommend!

Obviously the staff are having to operate in difficult conditions, but the food was lovely. We all had a ciabatta and the quality was excellent. The ciabatta comes with a generous portion of salad and crisps. In addition, the filling was generous. A very nice experience and topped off the day nicely after my friend's Gypsy Moth experience at Headcorn Aerodrome.

Sorry guys - slightly belated as we ordered pizza nearly a week ago - but it was fantastic - a nice crispy base with 'proper' dough and really tasty toppings. To be honest - better than most pizzas you would get in a restaurant.

Forced to wear a face mask to walk 20 feet to our table (which isn’t a legal requirement). Then bought two cups of tea and a large slice of cake and told them we were going to share it. We were only allowed one fork. The lemon drizzle cake was sweet and moist but sadly lacking in any lemon flavour. We won’t be coming back.

My husband and I found this little gem today and the food was sooooo very good, fresh and tasty. We both had filled ciabattas which were so tasty and soft and light, the best we have had. If you are passing, stop and try the food. Well presented food, pleasant staff, clean and a good foodie place as deli items on offer too.

This my husband and I’s first visit and we were not disappointed. The food was well presented and very tasty . Staff were very friendly and service was quick . We were very thankful for staff response when my husband had ordered the wrong item for me. Will definitely be returning again . The only improvement I could request is a wider range of cakes

Heard a lot about this place so popped in with my daughter for a quick coffee stop when passing and I’m so pleased that I did. The coffee (latte) was one of the best I’ve had and I’m fussy . The staff were friendly and attentive too. I look forward to returning soon!

I loved this deli and cafe. My husband and I visited today and had morning coffee and returned for lunch. We had the sausage roll and broccoli and blue cheese tart deli boards which we can both recommend - delicious food and generous portions. The service was friendly and very efficient too and the surrounding were very comfortable. I also bought some beautiful focaccia bread and some local beers from the deli to take home. We didn't try the cakes but they looked delicious too. I was recommended Foodies by a friend and I'm very glad we made a trip to Headcorn to try it. We will definitely be back and will try the cakes next time.

Lovely cakes as always but just a word of warning * NUT ALLERGIES BE AWARE * Firstly peanut butter brownies are in the display with multiple other brownies. Not ideal for anyone with allergies. The lady that served us had to be told not to use the same tongs on the peanut products as other products when serving us too. It’s a good job my partners nut allergy is not too severe otherwise we would have to avoided this place. I will be cautious when buying from here again. This was the first time I’ve had anything near an issue with this place so hope it was an anomaly.

Pret A Manger has been my go-to spot for my daily coffee for a while now, and I can’t recommend it enough! The coffee is always spot on, just how I like it, and the food is always fresh and tasty. But what really makes this place special is the people. The staff are so friendly and always greet you with a smile, which really brightens up my mornings. You can tell the manager has built a great team here because they all work so well together and seem genuinely happy to be there. It’s not just a coffee shop to me—it’s a place where I feel welcomed every day. If you’re looking for a cozy spot with great coffee and even better people, this is it!

Didn't eat, just a pint with old friends I had not seen for decades. The place now has inside toilets but it's otherwise very much as I remember it. A proper old village pub with a warm welcome. Must try the restaurant some time. The walls are decorated with old clocks and memorabilia, which are for sale.

My family of 15 including 2 young children always say let’s meet at The George. Throughout the past 13 years, we as a family understand why The George is because we are always welcomed and everyone just welcomes you. The food looks appealing, the menu gives so many options and if you need further persuasion to come and enjoy… it is always full, the way staff always are attentive, warm and a smile, respect and will always put you first as a customer . Debbie and Jason are amazing hosts and make it special for you.
