A very cozy and lovely place with delicious food and excellent service. I will definitely be coming back, and this is a place I highly recommend to friends.

We had breakfast here after not visiting for a couple of years. The food was extremely good, especially the toast which were from white and brown farmhouse loaves, not the typical thin limp pap of many pub restaurants and if anything more generous than last time along with top quality coffee. Staff very helpful. Looking around at other diners the veggie breakfast looked great, so although not a veggie I may go for that next time. Very good value.

Beer garden was really nice, good sun trap for when the sun does come out. We liked the fact there was music playing outside and service was also really good. Next time we will be trying out the food!

The cafe is super cute and a lovely space to be in, very cosy for the wintery day that was out. Food was nice but nothing particularly special and in my opinion a little overpriced for what it is. Large menu and lots of variety. The cakes looks brilliant so I'd love to go back and try them!

We love this place, great atmosphere, great food (mainly burgers now) and friendly staff. Lots of live music etc too. Much prefer here to the Chequers in Loose.

Hidden gem with an amazing service. Had a full English and avocado egg and bacon on sourdough. Faultless. Wish we were local but will visit again

Only had drinks so… cannot comment on the food. Smart but casual pub with great selection of beers and wine list includes English wine which is good to see. Music is important here- lots of bands advertised well in advance. Staff knowledgeable and friendly about beer, if that is your thing. Hope to go back and eat or check out a band.

We turned up without booking on a Thursday and were delighted to be able to be given the Snug which can seat six. Both regular and veggie options were great and service excellent.
