Well cooked beautifully presented and a taste to die for one of the very best fish and chips I've ever had.

Staff are always lovely, I can highly recommend the caramel cappuccino and and the cheese and bacon turnovers!!. Lovely location. Not a bad word to say about it.

A pint of ale 6.65, a pint of lemonade 4.40, a pint of Shandy made with them both 6.65, your ripping people off.

The food and the service is amazing. I can’t fault it.

Had a good vegetarian breakfast. Just my thing because it had more beans than you get on average. Coffee was also very good. Recommended.

Our visit to The Stile Bridge was a five-star experience. From the warm welcome on arrival, the attentive but not intrusive service to the truly glorious food. The first course fishcakes just melted in the mouth and the seasoning was perfect. As a main course the fillet of beef was excellent and the turbot in a champagne sauce was beyond delicious. We will definitely return as this is dining at another level.

First and foremost, sorry for the late review. Me and Yaz would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for making our special day even more special in the evening. From the moment we walked in to receive our welcome drinks to shoving a load of food in a box to take home at midnight the whole day was perfect. In no particular order our heartfelt thanks to Becky Adam and Debbie. Your guidance, advice and meticulous planning was amazing. Thank you Debbie for helping set up the night before the wedding. Jordan (Yaz says thanks for looking after her handbag all night). Joe, Millie (ensuring my hand always had a pint in it) Dawn, Debbie, Linda, Ebony and Thea you all done an amazing job on the night. Great Sunday roast, delicious and perfectly cooked.

Jacket potato was nice but the cake was only ok. It wasn't that busy but it took a long time to serve the food.

The cafe is super cute and a lovely space to be in, very cosy for the wintery day that was out. Food was nice but nothing particularly special and in my opinion a little overpriced for what it is. Large menu and lots of variety. The cakes looks brilliant so I'd love to go back and try them!

Hidden gem with an amazing service. Had a full English and avocado egg and bacon on sourdough. Faultless. Wish we were local but will visit again

We came to a function upstairs for a surprise party for my partner. We had the most amazing time, everyone was so accommodating and made it an extra special party. The room itself is lovely, perfect for a function with close family and friends. We decided not to go with the buffet, and although I was sure the food would’ve been amazing, the staff were more than happy for us to bring crisps and nibbles. The function room was also closed off to the public which was great, it meant that we didn’t have any gatecrashers which was ideal! The only thing I would mention is the sound system is quiet to accommodate to the rest of the pub, so be prepared for the music to not be as loud as you may want it. This is our local favourite so we will definitely be back!

We turned up without booking on a Thursday and were delighted to be able to be given the Snug which can seat six. Both regular and veggie options were great and service excellent.
