Excellent food and great service

Fab tearoom! Very clean, and ample room for wheelchair access. Friendly and accommodating staff. The menu is comprehensive and the food is amazing! So much more than a tea room… highly recommend a visit.

Just had a latte. Very nice place. 1st visit here. Piano player was very good. Food looks great. I will return !!!

The Fox and Goose hosted gathering for the family and friends to celebrate the life of Dad, (John Ripley). I meant to put this post on a week ago and time runs on. Jan, Ken and all their staff were most accommodating, anything we asked for they facilated, they produced and excellent buffet for us all and catered for all dietry requirements. It made a sad occasion stress free and helped with the emotions. Dad would have been very happy with the event and we can only say a huge thank you, for making it a lovely day.

21st birthday family meal. The staff were so friendly, especially as we arrived late. The food was really good, it all came out at the same time ( 10 in our party) The pudding’s were to die for. Very good vfm. The dining area was such a surprise lots of room. Will definitely return

The cafe is super cute and a lovely space to be in, very cosy for the wintery day that was out. Food was nice but nothing particularly special and in my opinion a little overpriced for what it is. Large menu and lots of variety. The cakes looks brilliant so I'd love to go back and try them!

Lovely little pub, great friendly bar staff, and the food is wonderful. You have to try one of their burgers!! Delicious.

Hidden gem with an amazing service. Had a full English and avocado egg and bacon on sourdough. Faultless. Wish we were local but will visit again

Excellent personable service that was attentive without being rushed. All the food was well presented and clearly the cook knew his or her business. We enjoyed a leisurely lunch in an ambience where conversation was easy. The upstairs toilet were well kept with an accessible option a ground level. The sweets and coffees were just right.

We had a family celebration of 8 adults and 1 child and chose from a very varied menu. Most had a Roast Dinner and someone had a pie. All our meals were delicious - good produce which was perfectly cooked & well presented. Puddings were also generous and top notch. The children's choice was good quality food too which was appreciated. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, organised and attentive but not intrusive. We had such a lovely, relaxed time. Thank you to Paul, Jo and all the staff.

Centrally located in town centre. Nice server, helpful too when ingredients queried. Service quite slow but the fayre is fresh and beautifully presented. Prices are quite steep imho.
