Wings Bar in Maidstone

We visited Wings for lunch on a Saturday. It was quiet at opening time ( midday) but getting busier as time went on. Service was quick and friendly. We had baked potato with cheese ( mountain s of cheese) and chicken curry, with two coffee. Total bill including a bag of crisps was just under £25. It was good value good and wonderful to watch the Spitfires take off at the Aerodrome. We’ll worth visiting.

Considering how very busy they where because of an event at the aerodrome, Jasmine was on top of the game. Quick, friendly and efficient. Just one negative and that was that the picnic benches need a bit of TLC

Just a really nice rustic cafe/diner, we called in with two children and four adults, quick and efficient service with a short wait for the food. Have been here a few times when visiting family in Headcorn and always enjoy the airfield activities and the snacks and meals offered here.

We were here for an air show and dropped in for a coffee. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and efficient. We had a good cup of coffee and it was reasonably priced. Next time we are on the aerodrome we will probably have a meal.

Visiting the air field and just stopped by for a takeaway coffee. Lovely atmosphere. Warm, welcoming staff. Great coffee at a great price and totally compostable cup and lid! Full marks!

We’re usually jumping until quite late in the evening but with earlier sunset we headed into Wings by around 6pm to grab some food and a couple of beers before heading home. The Harveys or Spitfire bitter never fails to please, probably one of the best pints I have anywhere in any given week. I just had the chicken curry, which was back on the menu, with a side portion of chips. Food was served up pretty quickly after our orders were taken and was tasty and the service is always great. We’ll be back for sure as they do a great job here for such a small place.

We had Sunday lunch here whilst my husband flew with a Spitfire for his 50th Birthday. The food was fantastic. Very hot, lots of it and very tasty. Service was great too.

I had my 60th birthday party at Wings Bar st Headcorn aerodrome. What a lovely location. The food provided was really excellent and the whole event was managed by Stacey and her team subberbly.

Four of us went for lunch on Sunday while visiting the airfield, super roasts, good value, lovely staff ,very popular,many thanks !

This is naturally our go to place for beer and food after a day of Skydiving as it's right on the airfield. The Harvey's bitter is great. Service is friendly, fast and efficient. Food is always good though the menu selection is pretty narrow. Recommend a visit.

We held a private function here and the venue, food and staff were all excellent. We felt really looked after, and the buffet laid on for 30 people was fantastic, a wide ranging buffet with particular attention to provide separate food for two gluten and dairy intolerant guests. The venue is cosy and welcoming and the bar great value. We were really pleased with exclusive use of the venue in the close season and the accommodating staff. Would throughly recommend and look forward to popping back soon for a bite to eat and a drink. A very family friendly and relaxed atmosphere in a great location

We’re pretty much regulars here visiting after a day of skydiving at the airfield and usually more than happy with the food and service. This visit on a Saturday evening was no exception, we ordered and our food arrived pretty swiftly. I had the burger, which is served cooked in a wrap with onions and cheese if preferred, was good, and I washed it down with a very good pint of Harveys bitter. My partners scampi and chips was good too. Will visit again.

Booked in advance for lunch with friends. We were not let down Stacey & Sean who do an excellent job with friendly staff good choice of both alcoholic and soft drinks at very fair prices. Excellent choices of 3 different roast meats , all fresh vegetables lots of gravy !! Kids meals provided. Good choice of homemade desserts nothing was to much trouble, good coffee to finish with. Clean and tidy a little gem!! Worth a visit, will be visiting again soon.

We have eaten at Wings several times. The food is excellent very affordable. Friendly atmosphere. Good range of Beers and Wine. Shame they don't open earlier at the weekend as a home cook full English Breakfast would be a treat.

Excellent lunch for 5. Food was plentiful and very tasty - all plates went back empty which is always a good sign! Wasn't rushed & we spent a few hours there as we were celebrating a birthday. Had pre-booked but today wasn't too busy so not really needed. Will definitely be back for lunch again - I need to try the burger next time as I'm told they are fantastic :-)

Great to see Wings bar back to its summer food serving hours and in full swing on a Saturday evening.

Ate on Friday evening with family who were camping nearby. Good, affordable food. Very good pint of Harvey's. Glad it has opened for the season again as a lovely place to go on a Sunday afternoon to watch the light aircraft come back in or a balloon take off.

We were dogsitting in Headcorn and the aerodrome has a great field to walk a dog in. Wings was a good spot for a drink afterwards and they were very welcoming to us and the dog which was a bonus. We ate there once and the food was good, especially the burger wrap - very filling! Great spot for a coffee or a drink too.

Went to the Wings Bar and Restaurant for a quick bite to eat. The food was very tasty and hot. The prices were just right and the service was very friendly and efficient. It had a family atmosphere.

This is a great family run bar and restaurant with great food at excellent prices, very good value for money! Beer very good and well priced too. Got a good feel to the place and made to feel welcome.

This is a great bar with a pub atmosphere and a little bit more, serving both Harveys and Shepherd Neame ales. The staff are both friendly and efficient. Food is always available direct from the kitchen. It is housed in a brick built wartime airfield building with a mixture of comfortable furniture. Wings is becoming popular with locals and those using the airfield.

Following a day at an Aero Legends "Flying with a Spitfire" experience at Headcorn airfield, my wife & I decided to end our visit with a meal at the Wings Bar. What a good choice the proved to be with a good selection of freshly cooked food at reasonable prices in a pleasant & convivial atmosphere.Highly recommended

Perfect place to have a well priced drink watching over the airfield, beats paying a fiver for a pint in the village!

really nice bar, good plain food well priced, also good for functions , have had two so far and sean , Stacey and freya make you feel welcome, Harvey,s and spitfire are the normal beers and they are well kept, cant recommend highly enough
