The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Havant South East

This was my first of many Festive dinners and it did not disappoint!!! £20 for a 3 course festive dinner, with a glass of bubbly was fantastic value for money. The portions were generous, the food was very tasty, the atmosphere was friendly and the staff were attentive. If all my festive dinners go this way I will be a very happy (and full) customer. This cafe is part of the M&S food shop in Waterlooville. It is very basic with no attempt to provide any ambience. Simple functional tables and chairs and rather bland white walls and a high ceiling! The photos on the TA site give an accurate impression. Almost like a utilitarian warehouse canteen! That said, it works well as a simple cafe; good coffee and a limited range of cakes, paninis and toasted sandwiches. We've been a couple of times and found service to be acceptable if somewhat slow and 'remote'. It's good to see that the Food Standards Agency Hygiene Rating is 5 star, the top grade, at the last inspecion in March 2023. Toilets are at the back of the food hall. Overall we're left with the impression that this doesn't support M&S brand values. It doesn't do anything to make the food shop a destination of choice which presumably is a marketing objective?

Not a place to work, you'll have drama 24/7 and if you dare have a conversation with the owners partner you'll be sacked if you don't tell him what was said. Very controlled, poorly managed and chaos every day. Do not get apprecoated for working on your days off. Plenty of other cafes to spend your money at!

Much nicer than a Costa or a Starbucks coffee. Cakes were amazing and very yummy. I would recommend trying here you won't be disappointed.

We are fairly new to the area and popped into what would be our local, whilst the pub itself is fairly well presented, and the atmosphere was pleasant enough, this was spoilt by the excessive foul language coming from people sat at the bar. This was then compounded by at least 2 selfish individuals who thought it was ok to vape inside the pub, subjecting everyone in there to their antisocial habit. As a result this is likely to be our first and only visit.

If a store is open until 4pm you should be able to order the menu until 4pm. Arrived at 3:42pm to be told I can’t have a cold drink because they’ve already started tidying up. False advertisement of opening hours.

This is a very dirty cafe. The toilets are beyond vile and the manager needs to hire a cleaner to clean multiple times a day. The cups and glasses came out stained. The staff on the tills are nice but I won’t be returning as it was just too rotten.

Probably the most disgusting cheese bap I've ever had. Chunks of cheese and no mayo as asked. I'm a cheese lover but this was another level. The older lady I was with, she had an eggmayo bap, and she said it was the most tasteless eggmayo she's had in her 86 years. Very disappointed.

My wife and I have been going regularly to H&H in Tesco since it opened some years ago. In all that time we have never been presented with anything less than helpful, friendly and efficient staff. It serves excellent coffee and a tasty selection of sweet and savoury food. It might sound sad that we travel from a pretty village to sit in a supermarket cafe overlooking a retail park, but it actually works for us. Thank you to all the staff (many whom have been there for some years).

Would not serve toast with butter after 12pm. How pathetic. Why is that not possible? Not the way to run a business! M & S need to wake up!

I was just in the shop and witnessed the lady behind the counter go above and beyond to help a person that needed it. Was so nice to see I didn’t get the lady’s name but a real credit to you’re little coffee shop platform 2 22nd may at 14:40 😇🙏

Surprised to see so many bad reviews for this café inside Sainsbury’s Waterlooville. It’s branded as The Fresh Kitchen. Maybe that’s made a difference since the negative reviews from 1-2 years ago? Anyway, as an “out-of-town” visitor, I’d like to say that the staff were fab (especially Karen) and the breakfast was tasty and monstrous. Asking for no eggs (substitutes were immediately offered) and oat milk for a delicious Cappuccino was no issue. Was really made to feel like a regular customer. Spot on in every way.

In a good location. This cafe is OK for a quick cup of coffee and a simple bite to eat nothing more. Very average but it does have outside seating which is the only bonus.
