The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Havant South East

It's good to be popular, but Almost had to sit outside. Looking rather down at heel. A problem of quantity of customers and your catchment area. Still the Cortado was fine. Shared a table with a guy, his coat and little space. When I sat down all three chairs were empty, apart from said coat. Only other downside, shared with the majority of coffee outlets, is there are never enough staff to clear / clean tables. Hayling Seagoon

We ate in this restaurant twice during our two night stay. On the first evening we were advised that the dishes we wanted on the menu were sold out. It was only 8pm so we were surprised by this. There were three mains off. The lamb, the beef and the chilli, which were our top three choices. We ended up ordering meals that weren’t quite what we fancied. As we were waiting for our food, the Waitering staff sprayed down the tables around us and started setting up the room for breakfast. Again, at 8pm we were hardly eating late, and this created an unsettling “spritz, wipe, clang and clash” around us, as marmalades were placed out, and cereals. It was very off putting and certainly put a stop on any specialness that could have been enjoyed in our evening. The food that arrived was ok, not terrible, but not flavoursome either. I was concerned after the reviews I’d read, but I’d already paid through an “off peak luxury deal”which bound us to the restaurant for both nights. The deserts again were ok. I had the sticky toffee pudding, which was factory made and microwaved. Considering the price and description of these offerings, you are left completely underwhelmed. Our second night meant that the items we wanted to eat “were back on” however again, eating them did not quite live up to the 24 hour eager anticipation from the night before. The desert was described as a panacotta with rhubarb compote and ginger crumb. I got a ready made, gelatin heavy custard with a red top, that didn’t taste of anything, with a biscuit that was stale, and broken in to quarters. I took a photo as I couldn’t quite believe it. We sat by the window which was nice, had it not been for looking at the paint peeling from the window posts. The old decaying window panes and the untidy and broken patio are outside. This is not a luxury outing. This is trying to be something that a cheap paint job and an untrained chef just can’t achieve. My advice is to sell it as what it really is, lower your prices, and be honest about your offerings. Otherwise you are just going to have a constant flow of unsatisfied customers.

I have eaten Meat Pasties all over the country but I can honestly say the one I had from here today was by far the best I have ever eaten. I wish I lived closer or I was able to order for delivery. The cakes we had were also delicious and very good value for such high quality goods.

This was my first of many Festive dinners and it did not disappoint!!! £20 for a 3 course festive dinner, with a glass of bubbly was fantastic value for money. The portions were generous, the food was very tasty, the atmosphere was friendly and the staff were attentive. If all my festive dinners go this way I will be a very happy (and full) customer. I made a quick phone call to the pub , politely just asking if they showed sky tv football there . The woman answering the call immediately cut me off by saying there was no management working at present only her so she was too busy to answer my question , couldn't take a long phone call , said goodbye abruptly & put the phone down on me. Astounding, why answer the telephone at all ?!

We last visited this cafe and left a review back in May 2023. Re-reading that review nothing has changed. Pefectly acceptable as a simple cafe but uninspiring both in ambience and food offerings. Service slow as before. Strange; this cafe does nothing to enhance the M&S brand image which, now more than ever, they are working hard to improve on an already high standard to compete better with other highend food supermarkets. Sainsburys a few shps away are closing their excellent cafe so there will now be even less competition for cafe customers. They obviously don't want people sitting here for hours having bought just one coffee! But it wouldn't take much to improve the ambience here and bring in line with their brand image. Local management, will you do so?

My wife and I have been going regularly to H&H in Tesco since it opened some years ago. In all that time we have never been presented with anything less than helpful, friendly and efficient staff. It serves excellent coffee and a tasty selection of sweet and savoury food. It might sound sad that we travel from a pretty village to sit in a supermarket cafe overlooking a retail park, but it actually works for us. Thank you to all the staff (many whom have been there for some years).

food was absolutely stunning still hot good portions and very tasty will definitely order again

I was just in the shop and witnessed the lady behind the counter go above and beyond to help a person that needed it. Was so nice to see I didn’t get the lady’s name but a real credit to you’re little coffee shop platform 2 22nd may at 14:40 😇🙏

Siempre este lugar es el mejor oara un taza de cafè o pastel o bocadillo. Venden comida buena pero no es caro.

In a good location. This cafe is OK for a quick cup of coffee and a simple bite to eat nothing more. Very average but it does have outside seating which is the only bonus.

My son and I had breakfast butties here last Wednesday and both of us had diarrhea next day. That was the only meal we shared
