Stopped for something to eat, prices were higher than pub food , selection for food and soft drinks were poor and food was disgusting, had a cheese toasties and have no idea what cheese they used but no one could eat it. Chips were burnt and pies barely warm. Would not use the cafe again.

I often pop in for a latte when I have completed my shopping, the price is a bit steep, so tend not to buy food as such, staff really nice and friendly, also very helpful when I had the new baby and needed assistance, thanks girls. If the eats were cheaper I would go more often

I popped in to buy something following a business meeting. I had long drive in front of me and noticed the cafe. I chose the All Day Breakfast which was freshly cooked and brought to my table. Very nice sausages and plenty of great tasting bacon. Good value for money at £5.95. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

The Tesco Cafe used to be just that, a Cafe where you could get fresh satisfying cafe food but now you can spend £10 and not notice you have eaten anything. Tesco have tried to make it more upmarket so the seating is more comfortable and if you just want a coffee it is great but don't go in there hungry you will leave disappointed.

The breakfast options consists of a sausage bap or a cake, I must admit I did expect to have a fry up! I am also not very impressed that my coffee was not brought to my table I had to wait and collect it like other large coffee chain.

Rebadged, refitted, and new menu. Gone a bit trendy in Tesco's, whatever next? Still offering refuge from the shopping. Service was a bit slow due to a long conversation by serving staff and then collect your drinks yourself but hot food delivered, a sort of semi self service! Lovely salad with many interesting things in and a bit of a bland Halloumi filled ciabetta bread that looked freah but tasted prepacked, not sure if it was or not.So an average experience all round accompanied by too loud music and a bit pricey for what it was, So on with the shopping....

I expected little and got even less. Why the supermarkets actually bother is beyond me. But as they do, why don't they make the most of the opportunity?

It's a Tesco cafe, when bored with filling the trolley have a cup of tea. It is a place of refuge from the wild trolley filling crowd. It is what it is.

Stopped for a quick lunch. Not much choice. Had a tuna wrap...ok. A cheese scone.....looked good but no flavour. A halloumi and aubergine bread thing...quite nice. Had green tea which was fine but coffee not great. Just felt like it could be so much better. Not at all sure about the magpie running along the pipes above the cafe area.....yes, a magpie! Staff took no notice so I guess he's a regular visitor.....not sure what health and safety would make of that! Won't go back.

We have a nice latte to drink. The scones, cream and jam were very good too. The scones were fruit ones with sultanas in and were nicely cooked. We enjoyed a break there after browsing around.

Needing refreshment after shopping at the Havant branch we decided to get some drinks and a bite to eat. The food was of what I can only describe as "Fit for Pigs" and I recon that they would have turned their noses up at it. The drinks were not much better. Having complained a replacement was offered but declined because if you cannot do it right the first time , then not to bother a second time. The assistant looked down her nose at us for having the cheek to complain. We will be using Asda and Lidl's in future.

Surprised to see so many bad reviews for this café inside Sainsbury’s Waterlooville. It’s branded as The Fresh Kitchen. Maybe that’s made a difference since the negative reviews from 1-2 years ago? Anyway, as an “out-of-town” visitor, I’d like to say that the staff were fab (especially Karen) and the breakfast was tasty and monstrous. Asking for no eggs (substitutes were immediately offered) and oat milk for a delicious Cappuccino was no issue. Was really made to feel like a regular customer. Spot on in every way.

They made me a tuna baguette fresh as I don't have butter. Wasn't a problem for them. The gentleman that served up was very polite and helpful. No parking outside. Always busy

Ordered ham and cheese toastie. Very poor, one side was untoasted, took back, the staff woman wasn't happy. Rather than new toastie recooked and then overcooked and tough. If your machine is broken get it fixed now.

If a store is open until 4pm you should be able to order the menu until 4pm. Arrived at 3:42pm to be told I can’t have a cold drink because they’ve already started tidying up. False advertisement of opening hours.
