Atmosphere was very good. Value for money fantastic. I came to sandwich for a short break and ventured out for a pint. After stopping at The Red Cow and being relieved of £7 for a pint of Neckoil (I thought I was back in chislehurst) I left and stumbled 1 minute around the corner to The New Inn and was happy to only pay £3.95 for a pint of stella during 4-8 happy hour 🤔 Suits me Sir 😂 Recommend all day long. 👍👍

Went for breakfast, lovely coffee but let down by overcooked fried egg, sausage was tasty but again overcooked making it very hard on the outside. Mushrooms v greasy and bacon super salty. I did get another fried egg which was cooked perfectly but for £11 it was poor value for money. I wouldn’t return if in sandwich again.

Had my mums 50th birthday party here on the 20th of September, the staff were so helpful on setting up the venue and the buffet was fine beautiful, staff entertained with karaoke and music and was amazing with the children who were at the party also, would definitely recommend, great pub with lovely atmosphere ☺️

This is a very nice cafe/coffee shop in the centre of Dover, just opposite St Mary's Church and about a 5 minute walk or less to the seafront. I was there on a Friday at about 10.30am and it was very busy. It's pretty much in 3 parts - the main area as you come in, a small seating area further inside (there is a downstairs but it wasn't open) and a little garden area. The toilets were very clean. The place itself was very warm and cosy. There's wifi available. But most importantly the coffee was very good, not expensive at all and I even got a little biscuit for dunking :). I was surprised at how busy it was initially but after half an hour I realised that there is actually a very nice atmosphere throughout. I didn't eat - many others were - but I would definitely recommend a coffee and a sit down here.

A little treasure in the Ripple countryside. An C18 character pub with a large garden and parking. Always friendly and welcoming with wonderful hosts Brian and Roy and the loveliest staff. They have earned their pub award as an 'Asset to the Community'. We have been coming for some years with family and friends and we highly recommend their home cooked Sunday lunch or a tasty weekday treat. Recently we had an event at The Plough and we were so well taken care of, with a heartfelt warm welcome and a delicious buffet with a personal touch. Some of our family had a great overnight stay in the guest rooms too. Thank you Brian & Roy for everything you did for us. You made our day!

To be honest, It took me a while to warm to Miretti's. The cafe seems to lack a little something - it is a little ascetic, or lacking in warmth as a space. But there's plenty of warmth from the proprietors. Their coffee is second to none. It's lovely to sit outside and watch the world go by, and all their fantastically home-made cakes are delicious. I'd particularly recommend the chocolate and hazelnut torte. But their little chocolate tarts are excellent if you want something small...

Top level service. Dog friendly. Beautiful strong coffee, lovely menu day to day and Christmas menu now available. Coffee tasted like coffee not a mug of hot milk and the hot chocolate with cream and marshmallow’s - D…..elicious! Recommended and will return soon! Coffee these days is often not well made - that’s not the case here!

Came in to buy a bacon roll. I was charged £3.50 for the smallest roll known to man and one extremely small piece of bacon which wasn’t even slightly crispy but seemed to take an age to cook. Really really disappointed. Weirdly I could have purchased a biggish pie for a pound. Bery very odd place. Wouldn’t recommend.

Whilst visiting Kerrys Bakehouse, one of our party had a minor medical problem, the staff were extremely kind and helpful. Kerry even offered to drive our brother in law to the local hospital in her own car. The food, staff, service and the owner were excellent. We thoroughly recommend this little gem in Deal.

Spire’s Cafe - true hospitality. It’s not modern or has amazing decor. It’s an old church, converted into a cafe. We left our airb&b and walked around Deal and couldn’t find one that could set all 9 of us until we chanced upon Spire’s Cafe at 11am still serving breakfast!! The lady showed us into a side room. Yes, it has mismatched furniture (but I’d gladly bring home one of the dining tables which is most likely an antique!). We were served a full English breakfast with coffee (latte, cappuccino or whatever is your favourite) or tea. Then we were gifted with Bubble & Squeek!! (For those of us not familiar with this, it’s basically fried vegetables - potatoes, cauliflower, broccoli - or any leftover vegetables). And all just £8 each. Add £2 for two pieces of hash brown!

I took my 90 year old mum in law to the bradeil retail outlet were the broadwalk cafe is situated. Unfortunately when accessing the retail outlet. Mum caught her foot in a loose anti slip strip on the disabled access ramp. This raised the loose board also tripping up myself. We were both on the floor. Staff and the manager got us up and the manager took us to have a seat in the boardwalk cafe. The owners gave us both a hot sweet tea. And as we had bruising they gave us ice packs in tea towels. A great gesture. After we had sat for about 40 mins we looked at there comprehensive menu and were surprised at the choice and value for money of the prices. In the end we plumped for the homemade Victoria sponge. It was very nice a decent sized slice at a good price. The boardwalk is a franchise within the bradeil wharf retail. And they went out of there way to help us so we will definately be back.

We popped in for a quick coffee at this excellently located cafe. Service was prompt and friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. The food looked tasty- although we didn’t try any! We’ll certainly drop in again when time allows and sample the food, the menu looked excellent.
