Whilst visiting Kerrys Bakehouse, one of our party had a minor medical problem, the staff were extremely kind and helpful. Kerry even offered to drive our brother in law to the local hospital in her own car. The food, staff, service and the owner were excellent. We thoroughly recommend this little gem in Deal.

Lovely fleshly cooked homemade food. The staff are very friendly and like a good laugh. Our waitress was Tracy and she went out of her way to make us feel very welcome on our first visit

Lovely selection of homemade cakes and pastries. The staff are very friendly and the place has a good atmosphere. A bit off the beaten track, but well worth visiting.

Was lovely to be able to choose anything from the menu, and save not having to double question everything. The food was very nice if a little expensive, but that is normal with GF food. The menu was quite limited. Be nice to see it expanded to warrant further visits. Service was fast, although I feel they could've been a bit friendlier and smile !

To be able to go somewhere and eat anything is a dream come true as a coeliac. I ate with 3 "normal" friends and everyone tried something different from quiche to sausage rolls and sandwiches. All delicious. And I hate a doughnut which is never available elsewhere and it was great.

Just great and really is a totally gluten free establishment. They are also licensed and have theme afternoons and nights. Have never come across such a great place for gluten free.

What a little Gem!!! Eating out with intolerances can be a nightmare. This place is HEAVEN it truly is. Completely gluten free kitchen, with gluten containing food refused entry. Huge selection on offer. I've had the quiche, sausage rolls and scotch eggs...yummy, and ALL of their cakes are divine. Hubby said the latte was the nicest he's had. They also cater for vegan and dairy free. Dog friendly, comfy seating and staff are super helpful and welcoming. They obviously put a lot of research in before serving the foods as you would never know the difference. I wish I lived closer as I would be a regular.

We stumbled across this bakery whilst mooching around the town. What a awesome place! The whole kitchen is gluten free and everything looks and tastes wonderful. It was such a treat to have so many options, will most certainly return when we are back in the area! Reasonably priced too 😊

Very tasty food. We are visiting deal and bought a savory selection to have back at the holiday accommodation. It was wonderful to find a cafe like this that does all gluten free food. Particularly when it's as high quality as this. The staff were very friendly and we'll definitely be returning. Can't recommend enough.

Wonderful selection of gluten free treats. Very reasonable prices and lovey ladies working there. Well worth a detour if you are in that part of Kent.

Fantastic place. Fully gluten free and great with other allergens. Staff were very friendly and made for a lovely lunch. They had a range of sausage rolls (pictured), quiches and sweet treats.

Stopped here for a coffee and were able to sit outside. The coffee and the sandwich were good as was the quiche for my partner.

We were in a party of 10 people and visited Kerry's Bakehouse on two occasions whilst staying near to Deal in July. My daughter is coeliac and was spoilt for choice! The quiche was the best we'd tasted and since the rest of us normally eat gluten, this is high praise indeed as gluten free pastry is difficult to master. The gluten free bread was also the best I've eaten and in fact, I'm craving it now whilst writing this review! Kerry herself is a delight and the service was impeccable. Oh and the cakes were delicious too :)

Firstly they don't take cash, at that point I should have walked out. Had to wait over 10 minutes for an espresso even though more people came in after me they still managed to get their drinks first. No eye contact poor customer service.

Noticed this bijou shop as we were attracted initially by the Groovy illuminated sign in the window advertising cloths and coffee/tea. What a surprise! We were greeted warmly by a young lady behind the counter. The main surprise was it was incredibly small, 2 individual chairs, a 2 seater retro cloth settee and an additional small seating area immediately under the counter in front of the display of cakes (not ideal) customers would literally be sitting virtually upon each other although we were the only customers in attendance at that moment in time. We had tea and 2 rather small cakes and were charged over £12! To summarise, whilst the young lady serving was friendly she fell short on what pricing of the cloths and various items for sale were if not tagged and also was rather naive in knowledge about the local town area. Overall the experience was different and the products for sale were interesting albeit scant we would not choose to return over other more spacious and better value venues locally.

Latest visit.... Amazing coffee and delicious banana loaf. Carrot cake not the best today. Update.... Popped in for a delicious afternoon lunch Must say pork bap with dripping gravey was awesome and so was my partner's omelette. Crusted new roasted potatoes were excellent. Good traditional tea here and super coffee!! Would definitely revisit and highly recommended. Delightful cafe serving up some excellent coffee and cake. Also there's main meals available which I've not had the pleasure in trying yet. But I can recommend the toast banana bread, absolutely delicious with a perfectly made cappuccino. Staff pleasant, attentive and helpful. Highly recommended

Spire’s Cafe - true hospitality. It’s not modern or has amazing decor. It’s an old church, converted into a cafe. We left our airb&b and walked around Deal and couldn’t find one that could set all 9 of us until we chanced upon Spire’s Cafe at 11am still serving breakfast!! The lady showed us into a side room. Yes, it has mismatched furniture (but I’d gladly bring home one of the dining tables which is most likely an antique!). We were served a full English breakfast with coffee (latte, cappuccino or whatever is your favourite) or tea. Then we were gifted with Bubble & Squeek!! (For those of us not familiar with this, it’s basically fried vegetables - potatoes, cauliflower, broccoli - or any leftover vegetables). And all just £8 each. Add £2 for two pieces of hash brown!
