Really excellent Sunday Roast. Friendly informative staff who found us a last minute table. Beef and gammon both exceptional as was the very naughty warm chocolate brownie! We will certainly be back . Thank you guys.

The new refurb works well, nice update to decor and seating arrangements . Good friendly staff. And the prices are reasonable compared to other local cafes.

I came into store the other week, I was rudely spoken to by whom I believe is the store manager. She spoke to me in a rude way and was also shouting at her staff in a very unprofessional way. It made my experience here absolutely awful and due to her rude attitude I will never be returning and I pray for the staff that works for her!

Just been turned away at 6.15pm on News Years Eve! Ticked event doesn't start until 8pm, so why we couldn't have had a quick drink is anyone's guess. Complete opposite hospitality experience compared to the Fisherman's Rest near Lymington. Oh well, £50 of our trade they've missed out on.

Came in this weekend with my wife and was served by the legendary Max. Drinks were spot on, however I did see the aforementioned bartender dip his cock in a few of the customer's pints (including mine). I don't know my drinks very well so assume this was all part of the preparation process.

It's been shut down by Environmental Agency as rats everywhere, and dogs roaming in and out of the kitchen

Small cosy pub just off the main high street. Good selection of beers and Gins.

Stayed for a night and it was exactly what we wanted. Perfectly placed in the surrounding areas and train station. Room was comfortable and clean. Food was delicious. Service was great. Will definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.

Ok pub food but service was appalling - 1hr 45mins to get our entrees! Two tables are completely out of sight of the bar - maybe they just forgot us? Perhaps have fewer tables to book on your busier days so you can cope.

Overall we had a very comfortable and enjoyable overnight visit. The room was comfortable, clean and well stocked. The staff were efficient and friendly. The evening meal was a little disappointing but perfectly edible.
