The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in South East

Absolutely fantastic meal, booked ahead as we knew it would be busy due to the great reputation this classic old pub has. A lovely table had been set up in the sunny courtyard, which we sat at after ordering 2 thirst quenching pints of Inches cider (did have a laugh with the bar staff🧐). From the specials board, we shared the garlic Crevettes (didn’t want to be shellfish🤣),…fantastic served with bread to mop up the sumptuous buttery goodness. Having seen the schnitzel go past earlier, my better half decided on that with myself choosing the cod loin from the special board. Both were amazing in all aspects, with special detail taken enabling the seasonal flavours to flourish throughout. Special mention for the black garlic aioli served with the cod 🤤 Absolutely stuffed we had a DJ Steve (private joke:didestive ) of Calvados with the merry landlord, who like myself and girlfriend are allies of the LGBTQ+ community 🏳️‍🌈. I would highly recommend a visit this beautiful pub in the New Forest coastline.

Hugely recommend this pub. The staff are so lovely and friendly. The security guard is lovely and the DJ was incredible. Amazing night!

Disappointing. Expensive,limited menu Won't be rushing back.

Sunday carvery was excellent this is the 3rd visit from us the food & service never fails !! you have a choice to go large and is well worth it !! puddings are gr8 too ""

Kid friendly pub, all staff are friendly and the pub has a great atmosphere! Great deals on drinks too. Even better there’s karaoke night on a Thursday too

Perfect place to stay outside of London. Train station a short walk away. We had a family room which had 2 single beds (instead of the usual double sofa bed) which was perfect for my 2 children. Good clean room. Great staff. Tegan and Jamie were super helpful and very polite. Evening meal in Thyme restaurant was delicious - 4 clean plates!

Great service, food wasn't to great

The pub doesn't do food anymore it's been taken over needs a lot of work inside

Nice, well spaced, clean pool tables, good atmosphere. Much better than boom battle bar

Last piece of Victoria sponge cake .. it was so dried out it was almost crispy. Needed a glass of water to wash it down. Shame, because the food is usually lovely.

Excellent value, great food and service.

Love the variety of cakes and they also have good ice cream. Coffee is fantastic and they also have some outside seating which is great for sunny days :)

Colin went above and beyond to look after my family and I today at our Mother’s Day lunch. You never know how many you’re going to have left, so it was wonderful to have such a lovely experience and be so well looked after. Thank you Colin and team 🙏🏻

A great pub, great service and choice of real ale. Not tried the food yet, probably next time.
