The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Pendle North West

My wife had had lunch here with a friend recently, and was keen to share it with me - sadly we were very underwhelmed and unlikely to want to go back. The place wasn't full, but after waiting 30 mins after placing our order for x2 paninis I went to the till to ask on them, and was told they'd check with the kitchen - shortly afterwards, they arrived, seemingly having been microwaved to reheat them after they'd obviously been made up and then forgotten, but with no explanation or apology offered for the delay; it was hard to find the cheese that was supposed to be in both of them; and the 'homemade coleslaw' looked and tasted exactly like shop bought. When I tried to voice concerns as we went to pay, it felt like staff had a "that's just how it is" attitude.

Plenty of choices, from clothing to furniture, household goods, and a small garden center, didn't use the Cafe but there's one on site.

This is the second time I have left disappointed! Food was bland, everybody commented about the pizzas having very little cheese and toppings on them. We ordered some drinks after our meal which took 45 minutes to come! There were two other small tables in and nobody at the bar so the hold up was unnecessary. We complained to the staff but they weren’t bothered at all and was merely apologetic. The restaurant had an awful sewage smell as well just to top it off. Will not be returning.

Stayed a night bnb with friends we stayed in room number 1 very nice room had brekkie in morning good selection to choose from we all had the full english good quality local produce would we stay again yes very much so,all bar staff very friendly couldnt do enough for you

My husband placed his order of 3 sandwiches. Which were made wrong we ask for a Bacon on white tea. They made a BLT on a rustic . Told them order was wrong. Then the staff spoke between themselves taking about my husbands order in front of him . Which was rude and unprofessional in my opinion. They then went to use the same bacon that was on the BLT and put it on a tea cake. . Definitely should not of done this as I could of been allergic to tomatoes. No care used what so ever.

went here again this morning after a stopover and its just as good as last time . im still very happy to recommend this little butty shop

Various choices in menu. Good tasty food. Fish and chips recommended along with tasty breakfasts. Good service, friendly staff.

I forgot to add that the chips were meant to be triple cooked, but were still raw! Food is way overpriced. Staff are unfriendly and the customer service was very cold! No smiles no welcomes!

I ordered 2 sausage sandwiches and a jacket potato the order just arrived and only 1 sausage sandwiche and a jacket potato but it's says 2 on receipt and I spent £16.58 not happy at all

We come here at least once a week when we want a couple of hours out for a reasonable price for food and a drink . It’s not gourmet food and we know what to expect . Looking at the reviews about the rude staff I’ve never seen any with what some are describing. All the staff we see work very hard , with a friendly attitude and we often comment on how good they are. Keep it up and thank you .

Hoped to spend a chilled Saturday afternoon with friends drinking cocktails and sharing some delicious food . We would usually always go to Wills across the road but decided to give this place a go . Never again!!! The two members of staff on duty were rude and incompetent and lacked even the basic customer service skills . I would like to say that it was because they were so busy but there were only 4 other customers in the place so absolutely no excuse for such poor service . Really disappointing

Price versus quality was majorly off balanced. 2 out of the 3 staff that served us, looked, for want of a better word miserable, probably due to poor management, in my opinion staff morale is the responsibility of the management. The humble jacket potato was hard in parts and overall was unenjoyable and I left half. The coffee Renoir (that was £4.50) was dry, and didn’t taste of coffee. The cappuccino was not hot enough, there was no ice for our soft drink and it was room temperature. All in all far too much money for the quality. Disappointing

Made a prior arrangement with Carlie for members of our walking group to call for after-walk coffees. It was agreed that I would phone apx 20 mins before anticipated time of arrival. They were quite happy to go along with this. Seats were reserved for us in the conservatory. Orders for a variety of coffe's, tea, drinking choc. etc were taken and served very quiickly. All the drinks were nice and hot, very welcome on a cold day. We were made to feel most welcome. We are a rather noisy bunch but hopefully being in the conservatory the 16 of us were not too much of a nuisance! This put a good finishing touch to an enjoyable last-of-the- years walk, Thank-you, Jayem.
