Do not order from here, they messed up my whole order and when you call the restaurant it doesn’t connect you to the cafe. There is no number for the cafe so now I have to submit a refund that will take days with food that I can’t even eat. What an absolute joke!!!!

Twice had wrong order delivered. Order veggie breakfast and received full english

My husband, our three children, and I visited Morrisons Café after a late shopping trip. Our youngest was getting hungry, and we weren’t sure what to expect. However, the café truly surprised us. The prices were excellent and the food was served in a clean and orderly manner. The portions were generous. We ordered two Ultimate Breakfasts, one Chicken Tikka Masala, and three Kids Meals, including Mac and Cheese, nuggets with fries and beans, and a mini breakfast, all for just £23. The dishes were impeccable. Even the children’s meal had beans served separately in another dish, preventing them from spilling onto the fries. This attention to detail stood out, especially compared to other supermarket cafés where portions are often served in disposable containers, resulting in messy meals. The staff were incredibly kind. Asima, our server, was exceptionally kind, she went above and beyond, even bringing a balloon to our table for our youngest child, a thoughtful gesture that we all appreciated. It’s rare to find such friendly staff these days. Other team members were equally helpful and smiling. The manager was courteous as well. When I complimented the excellent service, he seemed genuinely appreciative. In a time when finding polite staff can be challenging, Morrisons Café exceeded our expectations and it truly stands out. And there’s more, they provide coloring materials for kids to stay entertained while dining. Everything was clean, well-served, and the staff truly went the extra mile. We’ll definitely be returning! 😊

Shocking, been waiting 45 minutes for a breakfast, it's not even busy, with 2 children who are hungry, we thought we'd have a quick lunch whilst shopping, both kids over hungry

I only had a coffee but the member of staff was very helpful

it was cold, I ordered extra sausage and bacon NEVER GOT THEM, I asked for NO mushrooms and guess what, you gave me mushrooms. I put my food straight in the bin. what a farce

this is the second time I've left a review because of being so disappointed by this cafe. not only was I charged 2.25 for a black coffee but the cups were filthy, one even had lipstick still on it. it took me so long to get drinks sorted my bacon sandwich was cold by the time I managed to get to it. I honestly don't understand why people go to be given this kind of service. I will not be going again

but I only got the extra bits of food not the full English breakfast you owe me £14

I ordered a veggie breakfast and received a meat one

Used to be a fantastic cafe, especially the fish and chips, the fish is still ok but the chips have changed, it's not very good at all now, they had an issue with the fryer a few months ago, it was broken for ages and since then it has gone downhill, such a shame it was a cracking cafe but not anymore, always looked forward to go in morrisons cafe but will have to find somewhere else.

Cleanliness was an issue for me, i had to clean my own table and i saw another person doing the same. Secondly the service was shocking, the food was taking ages so i politely asked if they knew how long it would be and the cook came storming out angrily telling me how long. Finally food wasn’t great. sausages were burnt and bacon was fatty

pizza box put in bag sideways maybe by delivery driver causing it get damaged and bag was ripped and contents fell out.

Thought our food would be called living in Burnley but it wasn’t. It was really good. Excellent produce. Have me extra butter and sauces. Thank you. Will definitely order again xxx

missing items and i did ask for No tomatoes and mushrooms but it came with both tomatoes and mushrooms and ruined the breakfast 🙃

For the money it’s not bad. Plenty of seating all though finding a clean table was a bit difficult. May have been because it was after dinner when I imagine it’s busy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food isn’t anything amazing but isn’t bad. As I say for the price you pay it’s relative to the quality.

Will only get drinks from now on, been twice and food awful, cold and ended up throwing most away. Just because you make things presentable on fancy plates does not make a meal. No cups available, no milk available, coffee machine broken. Ive watched this cafe go down hill and I don't know why they keep it open. It's not the staff fault,

Extremely dry throughout like it had been sat on a hot plate for ages, usually lovely in store but this was inedible

I ordered a full english and literally must of been given a flying start breakfast. I even added extra hash brown and sausage to order. £10 for 1 hash brown, 1 sausage, 1 mushroom, 1 tomato, 1 egg, 2 bacon and beans. Shocking!!!!!

Ordered a prawn cocktail supposed to come with bread and butter, all i got was lettuce and a couple of prawns .poor value

Driver arrived on his phone whilst handing over out order which cost us £30.25 but handed the order on its side so that once we got the order indoors the coffee was split on our floor as well as my wife burning her hand at the same time , as for the meal it was disappointing cold.

Quite possibly one of the worst meals I've had in years. Took an hour and 10 minutes to arrive. Everything cold. The fish and chips tragic definitely not famous. Fish rock hard and cold chips were substituted with some fries. Who ever cooked that needs some kind of educating

Literally told we couldn't sit in here unless we have ordered food instantly as we sat down but not in a good tone, had a proper go at us, then after we had ordered another member of staff had a proper go at us for not ordering food even though we had and she treated me and My friend really badly, staff are horrible, discriminating just because we are college students.

Absolutely appalling service, all the breakfasts were greyed out so unavailable yet you could order everything off of the extra’s part so ended up paying more, then two peoples meals came in one box and to top it off, half the order was missing. Useless staff who cant read an order or just cannot be bothered to, wont be ordering again

I asked for poached egg which came fried, and the cheesecake was splattered around the box but other than that the food was good.

Came in at 8am to be told I had to wait cause there was only one staff after 5mins was served only to find tables with yesterday food on and dirty knifes on from the day before.The mushrooms was half cooked, tomato raw.bacon was just cooked WIll not be going back

Had to wait 15 minutes in queue. No cups for coffee on display so had to wait. We paid for mocha's, didn't have the ingredients available, so we got something else. Still got charged for mocha's. Had to clear our own table, as every single table was full of used plates. No condiments available, as well as no knives and forks. So we had to eat sausage and chips with a single spoon. We also paid for batter sausage and got charged just for sausage. No disrepect to the one single guy who was working but management should have forseen what was happening and delt with it... I.E closed the cafe.

I DID NOT receive my food, I saw the car stop outside my house , and drive off PRETENDING to deliver my food.

I had a breakfast which was only look warm. The bacon was a bit fatty & the mushroom was only half cooked. After the wait I had I thought it would have been piping hot 😡

Food was lovely but items missing from order . No Tattie Scone 99 p , No Bacon on burger 1 . 19 p , and a missing Oasis Summer Fruits 1.95 , and Just eat never refund it , No matter how much they say Refund on way or that they will compensate on your next order

Ordered ultimate breakfast x2 was supposed to have 2 eggs on each and 2 black pudding and only got 1 of each so spent 20 pound on 2 breakfasts and got next to nothing and also ordered a grilled ham and cheese toastie for my daughter which they missed off also asked for toast Instead of fried bread but still got fried bread

Sadly these days the bacon is like cardboard , 2 of the 3 processed Aunt bessie type roast potatoes were hard , the carrots were rock hard , at least the beef , mash potato and Yorkshire pudding were very nice

What has happened to this place? Used to be good. I'm guessing staff cutbacks? Cafe was almost empty, but people were walking away because of the long waiting time for food! Not blaming the staff, there just doesn't seem to be enough of them! Table needed cleaning, cutlery missing and no coffee at all! Can Morrisons not see what a shambles it has become? Stop being mean and employ more staff!

I ordered roast chicken dinner. It took a while to come but when it did it had no carrots or Yorkshire pudding wouldn't mind the wait if the brews still had free refils but I'd almost finished the brew by the time I got food. Didn't want to send it back or I'd probably nod off before they added carrots and Yorkshire

Dirty tables, slow service, overpriced cold drinks, coffee machine not working but taking your money 👎

The food was good, but I was not too happy that some of my breakfast was missing as I didn't receive a portion of beans or my scrambled egg. I was really looking forward to my scrambled egg.

Missing meals, no contact number

Bacon very lightly cooked 2 slices stuck together and cooked on one side that’s literally it, and everything tasted like soap or something unsure if the food boxes are kept near cleaning chemicals but this definitely need addressing as it made the food uneatable

Not even eaten the food yet! But I'm annoyed because, out of all the orders they could have forgot to pack and send out to me.. It was my baby's! Just read the instructions it's not hard. Food was on time but it's not the point. Rather than rush to send it out, just take your time. Blind bats

Second time I have ordered from here, first time I was missing the extras I paid for. This time is was missing a whole meal and both times I was missing beans plus every thing was cold. I will not be ordering again love the breakfast in the cafe but takeaway not worth it.

Slightly disappointed tonite the fish and chips were not to the usual standard we have there before fish and mushy peas were over cooked and chips were bitty .Although I think she is polish the lady who works in the cafe is nice and friendly .

Standards have fallen significantly at this cafe, it used to be well run and have ample staff to hand, it seems to be run in a shoestring with invisible staff prices are no longer the bargain they were £2.50 for a small slice of cheesecake (the same cheesecake sold in store at around a fiver) two self serve coffee machines of which only one works at a time AND has a limited choice of beverage because there’s no chocolate in the machine. The coffee machines themselves are dirty with coffee and powdered chocolate residue some of which is Congealed in the folds and crevices of the machine. It is badly run but the staff (when you can find one) are generally friendly and polite. I’m giving one star but only because I can’t leave zero stars.

That wasn't gravy you served me with my steak pie, chips and peas, it was dirty dishwater. The touch order screen till isn't currently working. The guy trying to clear the tables and serving the meals is manning the till as well. Not his fault, poor chap is doing the best he can. Morrisons management is shocking. Loads of meals on their menu are out of stock, including the cheeseburger that hasn't been available for three weeks, even though Morrisons supply their own meat. A company run by clowns. Feel sorry for the staff.

Called in the cafe for some breakfast before shopping and what a bad decision that turned out to be. Wife is gluten free so practically zero selections for her to start with them decided to get a full English for me, she settled for egg chips and beans. Bacon, overcooked and cold, could have made shoes from it! Egg, greasy and rock hard yolk. Most of the rest was greasy and cold the only warm thing on the plate were the beans. If they had flavour they would have been ok. It's such a shame that Morrisons clearly won't pay for a proper chef but prefer to put out low quality slop. Won't be eating here again for certain if they're going to sacrifice so much for their profits!!!

Poor customer service food arrived 25 mins late and cold. No apologies from staff. Food was good just not enjoyable cold

Had a rather disappointing breakfast at Morrison’s today. I was rather delighted at the half price offer however the breakfast presented in my mind was not worth what would’ve been the full price of £5.50. There is a few cafes in Nelson that offer a better breakfast at a better price. I asked the server if I could please have some ketchup and waited minutes to see her go past my table and give condiments to the guys that was served after me. I was forgotten. The only thing on my plate that was hot was the sausages, the bacon and mushroom was stone cold and the beans, egg and hash brown was luke warm. I give them 2 stars rather than 1 as last time I did not leave disappointed. But today. A little Disappointed with the ketchup; I was forgotten and that happens but stone cold bacon is unacceptable imho.

The breakfast was mediocre. Minus the black pudding & the flat mushroom. (But no one told me.) It was first thing in the morning, not busy. The food was not hot. So all in all. Not a good deal. They need to try harder.

Service sloooooowwwwww....and I mean it...it seems that there are only 2 people in the kitchen area so not good enough when more then 1 customer wants to order hot food...was not able to see ANYONE to take our order so we had to use the screen(not the best IMO)...then we waited about 30 min at least to get the "food" sorry but Morrisons have a lot to learn from places like Tesco Cafe 4ex.

Ordered the fish and chips meal. Had it before many times. Quite disappointed handful of chips. Not worth £5.95. Won't be eating here again.

Nelson Cafe is very poor. We came five times to eat freshly made fish and chips but couldn't get it. Excuses are strange that it's sold out. You are in a big food store and fish and chips are sold out!! Get them from store to serve customers. Probably won't visit again.
