Whitesides in Pendle

Carrying an exemption card or badge is a personal choice and is not required by law. Copied from the governments website. I chose to support a local businsss today in these unpredicted times, however I was refused due to not wearing a mask. I explained I was exempt (which is illegal to be questioned) and was spoken to rudely and told to leave.

WARNING - Witnessed one of the staff drop a teacake on the floor - pick it up again and butter it - totally disgusting - DO NOT EAT HERE - TOTAL Y DISGUSTING!

Brought up in Colne, these torpedoes are a good reason to go back. Great pastry and tasty filling. Top notch as a take-away and eaten on the surrounding moor.

Quality food & friendly staff - you may struggle to get a seat at peak times. Call in for a meal or just coffee & cake. Being visiting here for around 3 years now and never been disappointed.

A lovely small cafe area attached to the bakery,good menu and friendly waitresses ,breakfasts sandwiches pies and meals and a lovely cup off Yorkshire tea ,service was fast and food hot and freshly cooked.

A modern, compact and stylish small cafe area attached to the main Bakery business offering meals and snacks and drinks at reasonable prices in a busy shop environ.Friendly, attentive staff.My only little gripe was that due to the proximity of the entrance door and being at a busy time, the cafe area was somewhat chilly!A visit is definitely recommended.

First visit today, will not be the las had a coffee and toasted teacake today as a quick visit, passed a few times and wished I had called in. Did today and was not disappointing

Whitesides is right up there with my favourite sandwich/bakery shops of all time. Not only is their products great their staff are great too. The smaller breakfast sandwich is way ample enough to fill me. Prices are good too and great parking right outside.

My husband has just driven down from Scotland and was going to treat his grandsons to a cake in this shop.......and they refused his Scottish money! We used to have a family business in colne a few years ago and NEVER refused Scottish money. Get with the times whitesides

Popular cafe and shop selling bread, cakes, pies, salads and simple hot food including daily specials and cooked breakfasts. Friendly service and reasonable prices for great tasting, fresh food. Free public parking right outside.

Love love love this bakers the freshest ingredients on your sandwiches , the softest freshest tcakes and the pork pies are to die for with a variety to choose from , they do hot sandwiches and cold sandwiches and sell lovely bread and cakes and to top it off they have now got a cafe to sit in and eat .

I cannot believe there are only two reviews....Call here regularly when I am working from home, big menu of meats or what ever takes your fancy with a large array of salad and garnishes. Big range of pies and cakes.This place is amazing as is there sandwiches, They have recently revamped it and now have seating so you can sit in...Will get some photos next time I am there to upload.

I thought the world would be on here promoting this companies products. Its a good job I now work in Burnley or between here and the Cemetery Chippy I would have had an heart attack from dinner time raids. If you have never had a Pork and Apple pie from here and you live in Pendle you must live in a cave. I wish I could just eat one but alas being a greedy guts, I have to have two. I have introduced my sales team to theses little delight's, and now it costs me a fortune as they all pester me on a Thursday to pick a load up on my day off on a Friday to take into work on a Saturday.Apart from the pies they have loads of delicious offerings, hot and cold. The quiche salad is awesome, along with a massive range of cakes. The butchers has now been closed and replaced with cafe style seating, so you can have a sit down now. Go try the p&a pie I guarantee you will love it.

A new addition to the long established Whitesides Bakery. The shop and cafe have been very nicely upgraded in a modern, clean style. Went for a quick lunch and enjoyed great soup and bread presented realky well. There are a range of hot meals/snacks, sandwices etc and lovely cakes. Well worth a visit and the coffee was great as was tge service. We will be back.
