The best restaurants in Pendle North West

Food usually good but retuarant has gone down market numbers on tables , tables close together . Large birthday group , kids running around aka macdonalds but it was 7 in the evening. Food was terrible ordered a king prawn madras, the sauce was like gravy and the prawns were small and tasteless so I suspected they were off Did not eat the meal , asked for the bill., my comments were shrugged off and told to pay on the way out.as it was easier on the staff . Never going again.now very down market .

The restaurant is housed in a very well converted barn which is in the grounds of a farm with great views over the hills and countryside. It has a large car park. We visited for dinner on a Saturday night and even though it was very busy, the staff coped extremely well. We both had tandoori lamb chops which comes with a small vegetable curry. My partner also had a side of chips. We enjoyed the food and will definitely visit again.

I came in 20 mins before opening my fast and my son went in to order but he didn’t even ask him what he wanted and people came after him but they still didn’t ask him for his order but the people that came after him already got their food and it wasn’t even a collection. Im never coming back and i have informed my family and friends to spread awareness of our kids

Best Chinese takeaway in Nelson. Food is amazing quality and piping hot every time. Generous portion sizes and you need to get the salt and pepper King prawns...absolutely huge and delicious. I never go anywhere else for Chinese.

We come here regularly and always order the same fish and chips but the quality is dropping. The size of the fish has halved but the prices have consistently gone up. Used to love coming here but really disappointed in how it's gone downhill. Was the best fish and chips restaurant for mile around, NOT ANY MORE....

Stayed a night bnb with friends we stayed in room number 1 very nice room had brekkie in morning good selection to choose from we all had the full english good quality local produce would we stay again yes very much so,all bar staff very friendly couldnt do enough for you

Went for family meal for 25 people, was shown to table, waited for rest of family to arrive, moment they arrived food was served in some kind of disorder, food was average, bill was extortion, and felt like we was very rushed to say the the least, one family member went to the toilet, when he returned his table was gone, from start to finish we was in there 1 hour 20 mins, felt like they wanted rid of us so they could get next party in, who was already waiting for our table, will not be returning to this place again very disappointed and unhappy families,

incredibly rude staff on the phone customer service is awful, please don't waste your time and just take your money elsewhere

We made a relatively last minute decision to have dinner on Christmas Day at The Spinning Mill, on arrival, we were greeted by the very friendly staff, and shown to our table, we had pre booked our meals a couple of weeks beforehand, my wife had the prawn cocktail for a starter & I had opted for the soup, unfortunately I didn’t get a roll with my soup which I presume was an oversight, for our mains my wife had turkey, and I opted for the roast beef, both meals were very good, and the portions were ample, we finished off with cheesecake, and sticky toffee pudding, all in all an excellent meal, served up by very friendly staff. This was our second visit in a few weeks as we had a bar snack on the day we went to pay our deposit for the Christmas meal, again, both our meals were excellent. We wouldn’t hesitate to eat there again.

Was disappointed with the experience, found hair in napkin that cutlery was wrapped in, staff behind counter did change the cutlery on request but food was lukewarm at best and very basic. Price of the poached eggs on a muffin and beans on toast is rather expensive for what you receive.

No flavour to the curry at all and very watery. The garlic naan was plain and had no flavour. Did not enjoy and did not eat.

Honestly I wouldn’t even give it a star here all people leaving all these “positive comments” people you have no taste this is absolutely horrendous the takeaway it self is in rat infested area food is greasy absolute crackden of a place I got soggy chappatis instead of pilau rice this is my first order as well Bombay potatoes my words can’t describe it full of oil could even see it before I took it out the bag only decent thing was a tiny bag of salad…not only that but my order came 45minutes later nearly 2 hours and you claim to be authentic so called curries wouldn’t even feed it to a dog absolute disgusting you should be ashamed and shut the place down don’t can’t believe people say nice clean area, wouldn’t be surprised if environmental control avoided the place Food is just a mush and looks like someone has threw up their insides in the box and put a lid over it honestly I’m pissed off at how bad this food is looked at it had few potatoes and dashed it out of my sight
