The food is really really nice and highly recommended. The burgers are so nice and tender

Ordered a bacon cheese burger meal yesterday evening. Took an hour to arrive and food was lukewarm. Also the burger was soggy and not nice at all. Standards have gone downhill for the last couple of years.

I ordered salt and pepper chicken that was fine. King prawn cashew nuts that was fine. Shredded crispy beef in chilli sauce, it was raised just big chunks of meat like stew nothing crispy about the taste was vile, if I lived nearer I would have gone back Never again I will go in when I’m up there and tell them.

You would think that when GoodvYear is closed that they would try to capitalise on the available local trade. However, long waiting times are one thing but the food is just diabolical, dried up meat, stogy sauce with lotsbof cornflower. Absolute rubbish, I make no wonder good year, don't deliver and don't take card, they have no competition from oriental.pearl

I have used empress mills a few times and everything I have bought has been perfect. Staff are very helpful with any questions. Definitely recommend.

Chips are nasty not cooked properly but burgers and other stuff they are well nice and 1 more thing 1 of the worst chunky chicken in the country I don’t recommend to any1

Food was super mid, the man on the phone was extremely abrupt and told me the food was halal until I found out it isnt!! They just wanted sll the business they could get. Wouldn't recommend this place.

Very happy with my pizzas, plenty of cheese with fresh toppings.

Nice place with friendly staff but it's obviously not had a good clean in a while, toilets stank of pee and that was just walking past them😒, outside area near the car park was the pubs dumping area for waste, looks really tired, hate leaving bad reviews but this could be a cracking pub, also half the beer or cider unavailable, needs a good clean, painting and the outside clearing of old junk

The pizza was bland. The toppings were sparse. The saucy chips did not have enough sauce. The sauce itself was not what I ordered. I ordered chilli sauce and mint sauce. What I got was what tasted like cheap ketchup with a bit of a chilli sauce taste and thick mayo speckled with tasteless mint bits. The soft drink was the best bit of the meal!!
