After reading the positive reviews we had high hopes for this takeaway, but unfortunately it was very disappointing. The salt and pepper chicken wings lacked quantity and were poor quality, some with dark brown broken bones which had tainted the meat and were inedible. The crispy beef wasn't crispy and was like chewing rubber, again, inedible. The fried rice was average. Wouldn't return or recommend.

Really good food but when ordering online they are always late. They need to put accurate times on delivery so people know. Food is really good though..

Visiting nearby and had a great takeaway! Food was lovely and was very reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly. It’s obviously a popular place as it was busy. Only downsides were a slightly long wait (although we did order quite a lot - if ordering for collection call ahead) and that payment is cash only. Would definitely order from here again.

Whoa! where do I start with this restaurant. I wish I actually got a picture of my meal, I was so hungry that I forgot to take a picture of the food haha. I got special fried rice with salt & pepper wings! The food here is incredible, the price is extremely reasonable, the portion sizes are for two people yeppp! I was really impressed with the overall service and taste, definitely a 9 out of 10 for me.

Well worth the wait, generous portions, piping hot and perfectly cooked, the Duck in Cantonese sauce was delicious, vegetable spring rolls were the best I've had.

Got a takeaway last night food was hot,we really enjoyed it would highly recommend.

We order from here often, however this evening we are extreamly unhappy. Ordered at 7:30pm. Delivery time said 1hr30 which we expected for a weekend, however after 2hrs 30 mins it still hadnt arrived and was unable to get hold of the takeaway. Ended up requesting a refund. Shame as this has always been our go to chinese

This food was absolutely GORGEOUS! Ordered a beef curry which was the best I have ever had! The Salt & Pepper Chips were delicious, and had such lovely seasoning. Good food when you can get it, ordered at 7pm it's now 20.35pm no food, called the restaurant another 20 mins. Shocking delivery times ,if I ever get this food it will be my last time from here.

I bought the set meal for one which had two spring rolls two triangles of prawn toast a choice of 1 main meal of chicken, beef, pork etc and prawn crackers.

Bog standard Chinese food takeaway. Quite pricy. But the rising costs of most takeaway food shops is very similar. Best ordering your food by phone before visiting or else expect a long wait. As phone orders appear to take priority. Food was good and plentiful. Can recommend the king prawn fried rice. You won't be disappointed.

We ordered online it said the food would be ready in 20 mins. So we walked round to collect, we were literally in and out. Friendly staff. The food was piping hot and all fresh, huge portions too. Will definitely be using again.

Food very good bit manic at the weekend food is worth waiting for please don't complain it was light when you arrived and now dark before you got your food.

Had a takeaway from here recently when visiting family. The service was excellent and as a vegan it was great to see that all my items were clearly labelled as vegan. The food was fantastic, will definitely be back next visit.

Absolutely disgusting food and was very poor quality. Worse than a very badly home cooked home meal. My friend reccomend this place to me .ps I don't have a friend anymore.

i opened the box of chips and found 2 hairs in them thankfully they gave us a new portion but not happy at all.

3 hours for it to arrive is a joke. Said 1.5 hours when ordered, nobody answering phone. Finally turned up it was mediocre at best. First and last time ordering

Nice food when it arrives but delivery is beyond a joke. It was ordered 2 and a half hours ago and it still hasn’t arrived. Multiple attempts at contacting the takeaway, always engaged or not answering. Never ordering again.

I hate to feel like a Karen, but giving 3 stars is being generous, everytime we order from this Chinese its take a ridiculous about of time to be delivered, im talking like 2+ hours and we still haven't heard a single thing about our food, and this is everytime we order, tonight I have given them some leway with it being new years eve but order at 5.45pm and its currently 8.10pm should have had our food by now considering we are less than 10 minutes from the restaurant, the only reason I haven't gone to collect is the kids being in bed. However, we have never had an issue with the food itself, always hot and fresh when it gets here and drivers are nice and respectful of your property 😀

Lovely food, hygiene rating very good which is always reassuring. The pork Kung Po was delicious. Not had a bad meal from here. Only disappointment is they say on the delivery app they don’t deliver to Thornton but they do but you need to them pay cash or collect.

Always order Udon noodles and beancurd curry, amazing taste. And transitional canton dim-sums are all very delicious! Over my expectation. Good price and value . Nice staff service as well.

BBQ sauce is amazing chicken fried rice is delicious but the salt an pepper chips are far too wet stopped getting them now and the prices are good also

Ended up here as our usual Chinese takeaway was closed, sadly it was a pretty awful meal. It didn't bode well as our I drive home and the car was filled with a strangely pungent fried food smell. The meal was very fatty and unpleasant, my suggestion is to avoid at all costs.

Whilst on holiday my husband and I had a takeaway treat from Oriental Pearl. Ordering online and collecting it was really easy. Food was excellent quality with lots of meat. Really tasty meal that didn't leave you gasping for a drink because of the salt. Salt and pepper squid was particularly good. Would recommend.

As take aways go, this place has to be one of the best.Delivery is pretty quick and the food is warm, plentyfull and good flavours. There is no raging thirst afterwords,which is always a good sign, little use of the old mosyglutmate, u know what I mean.

Waited nearly twice as long as they said it would be when the meal arrived it was not very warm. The main ingredient of bamboo shoots and water chestnuts was onion and the same for the king prawn and cashew nuts lots of onion. Everything was very sweet most of the food ended up in the bin tried to phone to complain but they would not pick up the phone The 1st and last time we visit it just was not for us

I order from here on a regular basis and I'm always given a top service. The staff are friendly, and always have time to ask about my day. Meanwhile, the tasty and well cooked food is being prepared perfectly to order. They do an excellent range of vegetarian options, and are always careful to ask about allergies etc. Overall, a high quality and professional service from a great takeaway. A real credit to the town.

Been here on numerous occasions and always really satisfied with the delicious quaity food, a particular favourite is the salt and pepper king prawns or the thai sweet chilli beef!
