Amazing desserts in town. Really love the desserts here they are worth trying. They really have amazing variety of desserts

The worst customer service in nelson, two times i have been in and nobody is around to serve, after standing and waiting for 15 minutes staff walk past and see me waiting but do not serve. I ended up walking out and going somewhere else where i got better service. I wont be coming back to rude service and i recommend everyone else to go elsewhere too.

Bit of an odd attitude of the counter girl, didn’t really have a pleasant vib, cmon at least say thanks and smile to me for giving you business. Just a run of the mill below average joint where plastic gangsters go to get their late night munchies.

Delivery is a sham. Got delivery slot and despite asking for update and then phoning delivery 1 hour late. 2 1/2 hours from order in total. No apologies

Walked out due to foul language used by other diner's (kids). Complained to the waiter but he didn't bàt an eyelid. Appears more like a pad for the every street youth.

Avoid this place guy on telephone doesn't know what day it is asked him 5 minutes after placing the order if I can order some more things he said no it's already on the way rang back 35 mins later asking where my order was if it's on the way and he said the kitchen staff lied he doesn't know spent £46 when it came 2 items where missing just avoid this place everytime I've ordered there's been a headache or problem sticking with other places around the town now

Visited choc stop many times but yesterday I came with my family. The girls who served us was lovely. She was so polite and her service was great. Just wanted to let her know that we really appreciated her going above and beyond. Her name was Amina. Thank you so much. If this review could be passed onto her that would be great.

Ridiculous place. Been twice now. First time I Waited 30 minutes for one smoothie! Second time I waited about 20 minutes and just walked out. Wasn't even that busy.

Waited over an hour for delivery when cookie dough which was millimetres in size , waffles and hot chocolate arrived was cold when called the restaurant was told they were busy totally unacceptable and not good customer service . Would avoid and not recommend this place to anyone will never order from her again

Good food, the milkshakes are lovely.

You should use thick straws for the shakes as it will be easy to drink smoothies

Food was an hour late after the delivery estimated time. My food was also cold! Abysmal! Never wast you money and order from this place. Save yourself the trouble.

Peanut caramel cake and Milshake were incredible and the staff really nice, went in late before closing and he said order whatever you want you can have it. I recommend this eatery because the cakes and shakes are delicious and the staff were really attentive. Thank you.

Ordered cookie dough, a waffle and 2 milkshakes which all arrived twenty minutes late. The cookie dough is millimetres thick, and both the cookie dough and the waffle look like they have been through three rounds with Tyson Fury. The only thing they did correct is keep the milkshakes cold. After calling them repeatedly and getting nowhere I can reliably say that this is possibly the worst service I've recieved, and I've dealt with british gas!

Spent over £20, waited nearly 2 hours! Cookie doughs came freezing and rock hard and ice cream lids wasn't on right and had leaked all over the bag!!

They don't even deserve one star. I had ordered my desserts via the just eat app and had waited hours for my desserts but they did not arrive. I tried to contact the restaurant by ringing them but they did not even answer. On the justeat app they had said the food was delivered and this wasn't the case, money was also taken out of my account. Will not be ordering again !

Used to go a lot but gradually quality has gone down. Level of service gone down badly as staff not bothered about customer satisfaction. Ordered a few waffles and some ice creams. Not a single item seemed fresh. The topping tasted off like they had gone past use by date. Given a chance too many times. Never again.

If I could give zero stars I would ordered twice now and not happy either time second time order was nothing like described or how we ordered some of it missing. Accrington branch far superior never had an issue. Nelson branch is terrible when rang to complain which I never do, neither do I leave bad reviews, was told I'll get 20% off my next order. I won't be back to receive this discount. Very disappointed as we ordered from the Accrington regular before moving to nelson

2021One of my mums favourite places in the world, the waffles and icecreams are her favourite. 2023 update: The place has grown extensively, now with an add on burgerstop, which burgers are absolutely astounding. We have been regulars since the initial store opening, and although the team has shrunk, its still great customer service. My sister wanted some ingredients taking out the burger she ordered, which they made custom to her. I ordered the chicken one in these photos. The vibe is lovely, and whilst we've had issues with other customers, whilst we've had kids with us, the management have always sorted it out. Family Friendly, just mention it to the till staff. They have a broad range of cakes on display too, of various makes, shapes and sizes.

If i could of put zero stars I would have it got here late they game me ofbrand Ferrro rocher how would I know you may ask because they left a tinfoil piece in my WAFFLE AND ALL OF that for 20 ponds I will be expecting a refund

Quality of food is nothing special. The prices are slightly higher than other similar establishments. Also worth noting the insane prices for some of the drinks from the fridge as I was going to purchase a can and was told it was £15 which is utterly ridiculous.

Just okay. The shop is nice, but the quality variable and not particularly premium. I have long shifted to the shakes only as the quality of the cookie doughs has degraded. However, a recent shake has got me to a view that the base chocolate is either not the premium brand advertised or beyond its best by date. Overall disappointing and I’ll avoid going forward. I’ve not tried the burgers, so this review is related to the desserts only.

Ordered from here tonight via Uber Eats. Waited an hour and a half. And was requesting updates via the app. Heard nothing back. Eventually I called the shop to be told they don't deliver to BB7. Even though they taken the order, payment. And didn't have the decency to contact me to say they don't deliver to the area. Just to be told once I rang them that I'll have to contact Uber to arrange a refund. Take your "business" off the local listing if that's the case. Two hours gone. Money out of my bank. No desserts. Shady!

Please be careful when ordering from chocstop they have overcharged me and the delivery driver took the receipt instead of giving it to us and overcharged us we have phoned 3 times and no action has been taken or issued an refund despite telling them.very disappointed

Salaam brothers and sisters of this successful business….Please don’t serve your regular customers food that has gone off!!!…real shame !.. because the waffles were fantastic , milkshakes were really good, was really looking forward to a hot desert so ordered a cornflake tart for myself…this was disgusting…I’ve had this before from chocstop in Nelson and it’s been fine.. really put me off! For life!..even made the custard taste bitter!!!..…I called the branch in Nelson to complain said they’ll offer a discount of 5% off next purchase!!..also said they made this desert fresh daily !!…I think not!… I did feel like taking this back into the shop and feeding it to the guy who served me this however not worthy of a drive back just for one desert….5% off next time cheers such a generous gesture!!..the desert went straight in bin!.. question is will there be a next time!.. and am I really bothering with the 5% gesture!

I'm absolutely furious with the service l recieved, I've ordered two desserts & paid good money. The delivery time was OK but what l faced went from bad to worse. I heard a knock the door, got up and on approach to front door, a large knock to the window. Two males stood outside, both desserts within hands of males. No desserts taken out of a delivery bag. One of the males was short about the time it took to answer the door. The exchange took place of both desserts. There was a further two males in the delivery vehicle. Upon the two males getting back in the vehicle there was alot of laughing between the four males. One of the males began chanting and singing something to myself and the further males began laughing, the vehicle then drove away. * why are there four males on board a delivery vehicle. *deserts not presented in any bag or protection. * unknown whether the goods where tampered with due to circumstances of delivery. *food hygiene!! uncovered food, multiple people in delivery vehicle amongst Covid risk. *thrown desserts in bin!!!!!! Absolutely disgusting couldn't face eating and not knowing if the desserts where fine or not. * food standards would love to hear about this oexperiebce I'm sure.

Lovely all rounded place. Food is delicious and so are the desserts. Service can be a little slow at times so go with plenty of time. The staff are lovely and accommodating. Highly recommended!

The girl behind the counter was very rude. The most rude service I have ever received. Following from her attitude she then gave me and my friend a very bland milkshake and sat on a table near us looking at us like she were disgusted that we were sitting in with our milkshakes. At this point we left choc stop. It is a shame as I have been going to choc stop for many years and I have been loyal to choc stop even when the other dessert shops opened in the area but I will going else where from now on.

We order at 9:30 4 milkshakes at 11:20 we call back asking for the order because they still havent come they say wait 10 min at 12:10 we call them 2 times they dont answer then we realise thats their closing time and our order cancelled with no warning they didnt even call us to tell its cancelled

Poor customer service. Cold desserts! Items missing. Not the first time had a terrible experience. Very disappointing!!! Rang few times, 3rd time said driver is on his way but been involved in a crash and the "chocolate fondue" went all over the seats. Picture please?! Any more stories?!!

Amazing deserts can’t complain always delivered before time and it’s warm and delicious probably the best waffle I’ve had in a very long time.

Best burger I’ve tried in ages, really crispy and juicy. Will definitely recommend the fire cracker burger.

Price I was charged compared to the menu was significantly different. Staff just shrugged his shoulders when I pointed it out. Very expensive for what you get now since they moved to this new place.

£4.50 for this 😂😂 never seen cookie dough this thin and looks like someone was sick over it!! The chocolate looking one was supposed to be toblerone. Didn’t taste anything like toblerone!! Suggest everyone goes to Swirlz it’s loads better!

Excellent food and plenty of seating. I really enjoy coming here and choosing from a wide range of desserts. My favourite is the peanut butter stack and the cookies and cream ice cream to go with it. I also enjoy the milkshakes. Special mention to the staff who are hardworking and kind. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

Every day their milkshake prices are getting higher! Who remembers when milkshakes were £2 - now its £4 for a standard milkshake. Daylight robbery. They also charge 30p extra for a few nuts on top? In a year they'll charge us for breathing the air in the shop.

I placed an order through Uber Eats. After 1 hour of waiting I called them and asked for updates. They said the order is on its way. After 40 minutes of waiting I rang again for updates. They replied they are sorry. I asked for cancellation and refund. They said I have to contact Uber support for the refund! And they can't cancel the order. I waited 20 more minutes. after so much waste of time and so much frustration they said they cancelled the order! Don't recommend at all. I would give zero star but there's no option.

Really annoyed, orders a waffle the driver took 25 minutes to find my house while the whole time not even opening his eyes, and then told me my waffle was still warm I had melted ice cream and a cold waffle phone before as I new it would be cold and they just told me to wait and didn't care that they was sending a bad order do not no how to treat customers will not go back will be using sprinkles from now on

Food normally good; deliver driver that wears the mckenzie jacket was really rude on the phone and put the phone done. Food came freezing as he was sat in his car outside for 10 min before coming in. My boyfriend had to walk to the car; and he said he couldn’t be bothered getting the milkshake out so he had to it .

These guys sundaes are top of the line. You simply can't beat them, especially for the proce. The service here is fantastic as the people listen to you for once unlike other places. I love to come here as a treat and grab a refreshing, cold milk beverage or go to grab a hot, heart warming drink.

Okay, so have been eating the waffles a few times which was good, but lately the waffles r xtremely chunky with less topping. It feels like chewing a thick piece of bread with light choc sauce, xtremly dry. I am very disappointed with my recent purchase as it was a complete waste of money.

Brilliant place. A portion of my monthly wage is put aside for my exploits at this place. I've been to dessert places up and down the country but few compare to this place. My favourite is cookie dough terrys orange with whipped ice cream. Best dessert ever.
