Nos alojamos en el Spread Eagle Pub en Chorlton Manchester el sábado 26 de abril, a solo 35 minutos en metro para el inicio de la maratón de Manchester en el estadio de fútbol de Manchester. ¡No volveremos a usarlo! Una placa de pared en nuestra habitación leída, bienvenido al paraíso! Alguien tiene sentido del humor. Muebles sucios y alfombras, cortinas que no cubrían las ventanas, papel del techo agrietado y manchas de agua, taza agrietada para bebidas, agujero de perforación en la puerta del baño, podrían seguir y seguir. Costo £ 95 para habitación solamente, RIP OFF completo, no hay comidas servidas en el pub. Pub estaba vacío y sin alma para un sábado por la noche con un DJ tocando hasta las 11. 30 pm. Gente muy ruidosa en la cervecería al otro lado de la calle que gritaban hasta la medianoche. Positivos; toallas limpias y ropa de cama y cama cómoda. Nos reímos tanto de este alojamiento diabólico.

Wonderful customer service and fast

I stopped at Pret before my flight and ordered a cappuccino, but unfortunately, it was a letdown. The coffee was made by a machine—not a barista—which showed in the result. It was far too hot and had a bitter, burnt taste, lacking the smoothness you’d expect. For the price, especially at the airport, I expected better quality. Staff were polite, but the coffee experience felt more like a vending machine than a proper café.

Thanks for the kindhearted male staff today. I went into the store around 8:30; only he took the duty. His good and warm service attitude makes my day. 🙏

The cheese burger and chips is simply, mega!

Visited here as a one off as we were only in Manchester for one day. Service was great from what I experienced at the til point and serving us our food, very friendly and seemed nice. Food and drink however was something else. My friend had mushrooms on sourbread toast and a hot chocolate and she loved it. I ordered a matcha vanilla latte and pancakes with turkey bacon. The matcha vanilla latte tasted really artificial, kind of like too much like syrup was used? It reminded me of cheap giant marshmallows. The pancakes were far too wet for my personal taste and were quite goopy in the middle, too much syrup was put on the pancakes (for my preference) as well which made the pancakes hard for me to eat. I stopped eating them about half way through as my stomach started hurting. I did try to raise the issue, but I wasn't successful as they came over when I had some food in my mouth and due to a medical issue with my jaw, I can't chew food fast. So when I was able to finish I tried to get the lady's attention to ask to cook the pancakes for longer but she had already walked away. I'm also not someone who feels confident or comfortable to raise issues with staff without feeling like I'm being rude. And after I failed I just felt a little embarrassed. So I didn't try to bring this up with them again, which I think maybe I should have because my stomach hasn't been good since the pancakes. I think if you have those preferences with food you will love it or maybe ask for syrup in a pot on the side?

Placed an order by phone. They got it all wrong

As non residents recently arriving in Manchester, we found this place via Google. Reviews of 4 stars! Pah! Got directed by reception, down stairs. Asked for a table for four and had to wait for table to be cleared. Literally only three tables were taken in what looks to be an extensive restaurant. We should have realised then we were going be dissapointed. Were were hungry and sat down. After 10 mins no one came to serve us. Asked at the bar to be told "you have to order at the bar". There is nothing any where on the bar or restaurant that indicates this. OK, we order at the bar or at least we tried. On what was not an extensive menu most options were not available. Ordered 2 8oz Ribeye steaks, medium rare, with skin on fries and onion rings. Food was delivered around 8.30pm, one was medium the other cremated! No one came to the table to ask how our meals were and failed to bring the onion rings. All for meals, that you have to pay up front for! Coupled with the beers not available from the bar and to be told we couldn't order a desert because the kitchen closed at 9, our complaint was to be heard. Went to reception to speak to the manager. To be told we were told at check in, we would have known. We were walk ins! Manager was useless! Apologised but couldn't accept responsibility! I showed her the 3.9 review and the fact that the website showed the restaurant was still open! She apologised that they weren't up to our standards, in fact they are not living up to their own standards! They get a 1 star as there is nothing lower! Massively dissapoited with the start to our weekend in Manchester!

Great place to have drinks, cocktail

Absolutely fantastic! Food was excellent and so tasty. The drinks were delicious and greated with a bottle of prosecco pretty much straight away. Calista was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed

I go in to market street starbucks a few times a week and the staff are lovely each time. I order on the app and they make my drinks perfectly 😊. Received this cute little message on my drink this afternoon 😊. Cheered me up on what was a stressfull busy day 😅. Thank you for the nice drinks 😊.

Like all restaurants of the world, it's usually good but only sometimes fabulous

The batch brew was cold and bitter.. The music is too loud, I was hoping to catch up on a bit of work - preferred this place when it was owned by Takk wont be coming here again..
