Pret A Manger in Manchester

I normally chose pret when I’m in airports. The food is just slightly better than other places, I think. They both have vegan and meat products

Had toastie for our breakfast at 4am. Hot good quality bread lean ham with cheese. and tasty. Great selection of food.

Very rude man in red tartan shirt behind counter,believe him to be manager.told us to move when waiting for hot food and coffee.

unfortunately today on the 22nd between 3:30 and 4:00am we visited Pret in terminal 1 and we were hugely disappointed as the quality of the coffee had decreased, it was horrible, the FlatWhite didn't taste like any coffee at all, the cappuccino too, I asked for another Espresso to put in mine FlatWhite to see if it would improve, but the taste of the coffee itself is terrible, I don't think it was the employee's fault because I'm a barista and I know that the machines are very automated and he couldn't make something so bad. Unfortunately, today it is on the list of the worst cafes in which my wife and I entertained, perhaps just for the food.

Great sandwiches and really nice staff. The white coffee needed more milk, buts that’s a niggle.

What have you done to the coffee - I’ve had better coffee at a greasy spoon. Boiling hot and bitter. Being Organic doesn’t mean you can scorch the coffee. Do any leadership actually drink coffee? This is an airport at 6am and there’s banging indie music blaring out - who’s running this disaster.

Chai latte pretty cold and staff unable to give hot drink. Unfriendly staff, usually Pret A Manager is good but not this one.

Pret is the place to go when airside in Terminal 1. Fantastic offering of hot coffee; freshly made sandwiches; hot wraps; and fresh patties at the counter.

I was served by a big guy (I think his name started with a J) and was super helpful. Customer service at is best!

Coffee is reasonable. Bought a salad with avocado and the avocado was inedible, very underripe, yet most of the food options seem to include avocado here.

Dumb corporate policy. Cannot order coffee without a single use plastic lid. "Health and safety" #nolid Shockingly bad sustainability Pret. Look after our planet.

I really like this go get it place to grab coffee, snacks. Fruits or deals. You can fetch a coffee or your own choice or any bakery item. They got sandwiches, salad, drinks and multiple option to fulfill appreciate at airport terminal. I have been to their outlets both on London and Manchester airports. Overall a satisfied customer from services and food point of view.

I had a fantastic Avocado Chipotle Falafel Wrap because Burger King didnt have any veggie options. It was early evening but the product still tasted really fresh to my surprise.

Considering it's an airport fantastic prices not to mention the lovely staff

Flying out to Paris, came for coffee. Place is filthy, tables and chairs covered in food waste. Floor covered in food waste. Health hazard tbh. Raised with the manager, told me they were short staffed. Avoid like the plague.

Fair Prices. Poor quantity in the eve

Nice place with a great selection of fresh sandwiches, wraps, salads and many other. The food is actually nice and tastes fresh. The staff is very kind and chatty.

Staff and shop are great, energetic to liven you for the early morning flight! Matcha latte with rice-coconut milk was good taste-wise, but texture was a let-down with very little foam that dissipated quickly as seen in pic.

Staff was nice, service was quick and breakfast was delicious.

Service was good and drinks were okay. Not barista quality. 1 star because shocked to see a manager swearing to one of his staff in front of customers.

Asked for a cup of tap water afte buying coffee breakfast and fruit dining in and told they can’t do . Weird when they can’t provide tap water. Disappointing they would prefer to add to plastic production by selling bottled water instead in the cafe.

Went here for a quick coffee. The queues were not long. Service was brisk, got a small cup, the coffee was decent enough. Ok for the price.

Inattentive staff and a sandwich with a bone does not bode well. Slow service and expensive poor products when you do get served. Simply avoid. Nothing else to say.

I ordered an oat milk latte and it had to be disposed of - it was the worst latte I've ever had 😅 Burnt and oddly sour. Wouldn't recommend!

Not a great selection but what I did have was lovely. Service was woeful. Took forever and all I needed was someone to scan the prices - I didn’t need any coffees made or heated foods. Tables weren’t that clean and there weren’t any power point which is bizarre in this day and age let alone with business people travelling.

The morning of our flight, the airport was packed and the queues for the restaurants upstairs was ridiculous. We joined the pret queue and it went down quickly. Fair amount of choices too and typical airport prices.

The staff at this busy airport cafe is probably the nicest and friendliest I have ever come across while travelling. They will literally crack a joke with every customer, which is appreciated considering travelling can be super stressful. I will definitely come back on my next journey

Normally Pret is okay, but today I ordered a oat flat white and I watched the barista reheat milk, which is bad its own but especially bad for oat milk. I know it was repeated as no new milk was poured and it had the cappuccino foam still on top. Hence my drink was burnt and the wrong texture. I work in a cafe myself, so I understand the stress and understand that slip ups can happen when it's busy, however it was not busy when we went in. The staff member I talked to was polite, however the actual product I received was horrific at best.

Travelling can be stressful, and my day of travelling did not start very well. But the great service from Joanne C made my morning. She served the customers with a smile despite the early hour, made me feel so much better with simple conversation. What a gem ☺️ thank you very much, great customer service skills

We got a latte, coke and sandwich and asked if they could fill a flask with tap water as we payed. This has never been a problem in the past, neither has it been at Costa or Starbucks @ Manchester Airport. Today it seemed to be too much trouble for the staff here and my partner got the response "we don't have tap water" - with a tap just running behind them 🤷 Thanks a lot!

Good variety of food and drinks but needs more tlc from the staffs.

Asked for small fries take away. £3.50 but its worth it. Customer service was good and they made sure I was accompanied with my parents.

Catching a flight to Prague we were in Manchester Airport bright and early ,as I had missed breakfast in my house I grabbed a cheese salad baguette and a coffee,service was quick and the staff not your usual surly servers ,the young lady was really cheerful despite the early time,baguette was delicious and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the coffee ,I couldn't fault anything about my visit to this Pret A Manger in Manchester Airport.

Very disappointing. Hot sandwich well below min safe temperature of 55 Deg. Bread of a sandwich hard, could have been yesterday's?

Standard Pret - what you would expect from the chain really. Closes early @ least on a Friday. Shut at 15:45 Greggs right next door though. This is on floor 0 in terminal 1 and turn left out the lift

Returning to Manchester airport, stopped off at Pret A Manger to grab a cafe latte before collecting the car. Good takeaway coffee in Airport. Friendly northern service.

Pret a Manger serves really tasty breakfast food and especially sandwiches. Delicious and good organic coffee. Nice place to chill. Wide range of different varieties of food available at very Affordable prices.

When I fly, I don't want to eat too much. I found that at Pret I could grab a quick light bite pastry and carry on wandering through the airport. The tables were very clean and the staff extremely friendly especially at 6am.

Bobbed in about 4pm, slow service as the airport was reasonably quiet but only 1 server so there was a queue. Chicken salad with tamarind and ginger sauce was great! Light and tasty. I’ll be back!

With pret, one generally knows that you’ll be getting fresh, tasty food. Breakfast on arrival at Manchester Airport did not disappoint - we had porridge with honey, an awesome chocolate croissant and three coffees. All tasty and decent value...

Called in for a coffee and snack before our flight there was a queue and only 2 members of staff they were pretty slow as only one of them could do the coffee so we had to wait awhile.Once served the coffee,cake and crisps were good.Service although slow the staff were pleasant.

I’m a frequent traveler and Pret A Manger is my favourite thing about having to go to the Birmingham Airport. It’s never too early in the morning for an avocado, olive, tomato, and rocket sandwich. I also always get a dark chocolate and almond butter cookie to take with me.

Thank you for being at the airport. Good service and fresh food. We had a chicken salad with advocacy and pistachio nuts. Peppers , tomatoes. Yum.

Landing in Manchester after a 4 hour delay and an awful flight saw us walking dreary eyed walking to Pret to be greeted by the friendliest lady (didn’t get her name, blonde hair, evening of Friday 6th Sept) who gave the most amazing service and brilliant advice on food selection. We had a tasty healthy meal and didn’t need to touch the sausage rolls!

Food looks good, but they put all the "good" stuff in the middle and the rest is bread. Very cheap and misleading.

Same quality as any other Pret. And excellent for an airport cafe. Also always clean and tidy, well done staff!

Had a toasty sandwich and a couple of skinny hot chocolate (I know ironic but we don't like any other hot drinks!) I watched the hot drink maker (oh sorry, should I say professional barista?!!) with his back to me and when he bought over the drinks I asked if he'd used skimmed milk to which he replied yes, I told him I hadn't seen him pick up the skimmed milk at all to which without a word spoken he turned on his heel and proceeded to remake them and put two new ones on the counter and turn away again. No apology from him nor from the lady that served me having witnessed the entirety of what had just gone on. Goodness help you if you're lactose intolerant! Or if you like a skinny drink as they most obviously couldn't give a two hoots!

Really poor service with no attempt at being friendly. Got my hot drink order wrong, no attempt at an apology and smashed a croissant into a paper bag with such little care, It resembled someone trying to bag a venomous snake! Disappointing

Poor service and unpleasant staff. Couldn't even tell me if their sponge cake was with jam or custard cream. What if I'm allergic to some products??????? Their response- "we can't reveal our ingredients". Train your staff better.

Decent place to get a coffee at the airport, shorter queues than most!

Had an omlette and it was not only tastless but its texture was more like a quiche or scrambled egg!! First time /product thay i have had fron Prets that has disapponted. Will not have omelette from here again !

We perused the wares available and nothing seemed remotely exciting which is unusual for a Pret. Perhaps it was the time of day but many gaps in the range. It was rather disappointing

Standard Pret A Manger located just after the security in terminal 1. Very friendly service, clean and well organised with a large seating area and a decent range of hot and cold snacks and drinks.

Quality food is always a known quatity from Prets. This outlet is quite small and busy but kept well stocked. Staff are efficient and friendly. Proces not ' loaded' for airport.

My favourite sandwich chain in the UK. A must whenever we travel from Manchester airport.

Loved the quality of both food and drink and thought prices very reasonable. More than this their recycling ethic is brill. Shame more businesses cannot be similar and not shoot up prices at same time!!!!!

It's Pret. I really like Pret, great food, bit if you've been to a Pret before there's no point in reading this because it's Pret. C'mon, you know what Pret is like don't you?

Used this Pret before my flight to Dubai & it is of the standard I expect from this company. Staff are friendly & efficient. I had a great chat with Sophie who knows several of the staff in Liverpool. Not impressed by the single use cups.

Despite recent negative press we enjoyed our early morning breakfast at Manchester airport. Wish I could say the same about the rest of the airport !

Popped down here to get breakfast sandwich and a coffee while we were queueing to check-in upstairs. Coffee was nice, as was the breakfast sandwich.

Great to have a reliable Pret in an airport where everywhere else seems dodgy. Had soup, baguette and wine. Plenty of staff on, and prices not extortionate like so many airport eateries.

Coffee tasted strange. Expensive. Would rather go to costa.

Good food and coffee here however you can't get a real cup. So everyone gets a single use cup with a single use plastic lid on - pure ecological madness. When is this going to change? Before its all too late?

Always use this restaurant at Manchester Airport, its clean and there is a good variety of food to choose from healthy options or not depending on your choice, the sandwiches are freshly made every day. They have fresh fruit too Expensive but then airport restaurants usually are.
