Precious was dedicated to our table for our bottomless brunch - service was amazing, really fast with our food and drinks, never waited around for our drinks and always had another before ours was gone! Amazing and definitely would come again

We went for Bottomless Brunch and were disgusted with the service, food and drinks. The whole vibe was completely off and the staff didn't seem to know there were even any Bottomless Brunch bookings. The place was clearly understaffed with bar staff manning both the bar, and the kitchen, and the whole place was dark and quiet upon entry. I emailed to complain and had a lacklustre response, followed by several chasers going ignored. We have been to 15+ Bottomless Brunches in Manchester and this is without doubt the worst. Please avoid.

I would recommend avoiding it this place for bottomless brunch. Shocking service as we were sent downstairs only to be sent back upstairs which wasn’t a great start. The whole place and decor looks like it’s not been updated for 20 years and just the whole vibe was very dim. The staff didn’t look like they enjoying themselves which probably sums up impossible as a brand. Please please avoid.

Honestly, the server we had saved this night, Dawn. She deserves her flowers as I’ve seen by many previous reviews. We were booked in for 18:30 however, somehow the booking had been not communicated due to a third party fault. Frustrating, but can’t be helped. We were told we were then booked for 19:45 instead. It was my 21st birthday and had other arrangements but we got on with it. Returned at 19:45, they still did not have our table so waited yet another 20 minutes. As previously stated, Dawn saved the evening. She was lovely, kind, understanding and most importantly, humoured us. (I must mention the lady on the front desk whose name we didn’t catch, she was also a great deal of help). We were told we should speak to management, make a complaint and hopefully be compensated for the inconvenience and loss of money on our later bookings. We spoke to the manager - Amy - who was rude, condescending and quite frankly unhelpful. Such a contrast to her staff (Dawn & others). The bill originally was £127 odd. Which confused us all, as it’s meant to be £35 per person - £105. We had been charged extra for a “drinks package” - at a bottomless brunch might I add. Not only this, we had been charged £10 more for a birthday package and shot. We didn’t ask for this, we thought it was a nice sentiment as I had a badge and banner on, and also an apology for the two mess up’s. I must stress, the manager tried to take off the service charge. This is unjust as the servers are the brick and mortar of that place, without them it wouldn’t even be open. It’s a shame as we have been here previously and loved it, hence our return. But the way we were treated by management and the overall disorganisation of the supposed ‘management’ has ruined that. As i said, Dawn & the other waitresses/waiters saved the evening. Without them we wouldn’t have even bothered staying.

Music was great, but barstaff very cheeky, asked for rum and coke and they instantly poured doubles then said I had to pay for it as it had been poured. I asked for singles. This happens not once but twice.

I had the absolute pleasure of experiencing the bottomless brunch at Impossible Manchester, and I have to give a special shoutout to our server, Leah, who made the entire experience unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, Leah was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive, making us feel like VIPs the entire time. She had fantastic knowledge of the menu and offered excellent recommendations, ensuring we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. Her friendly demeanor and impeccable timing made the bottomless drinks flow effortlessly, and she genuinely made the whole experience more enjoyable. If you're lucky enough to have Leah looking after you, you're in for an amazing time! Truly outstanding service, and I can't wait to return!

Went for a bottomless brunch around 2 weeks ago, food was amazing, drinks were flowing great, our server was Leah she was simply amazing from the start she was very attentive and catered to our every whim, nothing was too much trouble, even when we couldn’t decide which drinks to go for she had the best recommendations

Came here with my husband after it being recommended and it certainly did not disappoint. Leah who served us is an absolute star. She made the experience even better for us. Super friendly, super helpful and she is an asset to have in the workplace. Can’t wait to come back with the girls

I attending impossible MCR for a date night with my partner. E were greeted by Leah who told us was our host for the evening. She made every moment whilst we were there very special. She made sure we were happy and checked on us regularly, always with a smile even when I could tell she was busy! So thanks Leah ❤️

I attended the Impossible Theatre in the basement for the Christmas dinner of the company I work for. The service was fast and super efficient. On arrival, we were told which numbered table we would be at. Then at the table itself, there were pieces of cardboard at each place setting with not just the person's name but also details of what starter and main course they would be having. Very impressive. None of the faffing about and people being served the wrong dish that I have experienced at similar functions and, indeed, weddings at other establishments. With the possible exception of the carrots which, to my mind, were unintentionally undercooked or accidentally al dente, the food was exceptional - really delicious. If Impossible were a standalone restaurant, I would definitely go back. For entertainment, there was a fire-eater performer. Her skills were impressive, but I was worried throughout that she would set the low ceiling above the stage on fire. Seriously. This was a distracting worry. There was also a DJ. He kept the music at a sensible volume during the meal so that people could hear each other talk. But after the meal, he just blasted it out, with the result that conversation was impossible. And I didn't understand the point of that as tables taking up the entire floor area meant that there was zero space for dancing. Then, at only three minutes to ten, the music abruptly stopped, the lights came up, and staff told us we had to go up to the public bar upstairs. The street-level bar looked as you would expect any upmarket bar to look. It was a Friday night and bustling . Impossible is located just off Deansgate and is adjacent to the Great Northern complex which houses an Odeon cinema multiplex, so if upmarket bars are your thing and you are in that part of Manchester city centre, it is worth checking out. And, some minor criticisms notwithstanding, I would absolutely recommend Impossible for a corporate function that includes a sit-down meal. Their food and service are top notch.

came here for a bottomless brunch with me pals, unfortunately food came out very erratically (also not good) and drinks sadly non existent . staff were very nice and clearly not their fault however it was not good :-((((((((( love you anyways waiting on staff hope ur manager and kitchen does better for u x

Came here for a bottomless brunch, was a slightly weird experience. You didn’t get to choose or order your drinks, you just got given Prosecco/weak cocktails right at the start and then nothing for the rest of the three hours. The food was awful, ordered a chicken burger and just got a small dry chicken burger which looked like a McDonald chicken mayo. There no was chips, just a small burger on a plate alone -when we asked about chips they said they were arriving separately but then we got them 2 hours later at the end of the brunch. I understand weak cheaper drinks at a bottomless brunch but I at least expect the food to be good. Music and atmosphere was good but food was shocking. Paid £50 per person and was definitely not worth that

A bunch of friends had a VIP area and one of our friends got really sick. The staff there were so great especially one lady called Emily. Brought him water and made sure he was okay and gave us the help that was needed and appreciated. Besides from that the bar service was great and a good time

Me and our group of friends were looking for a place to eat a Sunday roast, did some research and came across some reviews of them here, reasonably priced and the place across the road was full.. anyways long story short we got seated by someone called Emily, polite and recommended drinks to us, cocktail selection was decent lots of classics and stuff we’ve never had. But I opted for a pint. Food was class. Came out looking and smelling fantastic and it didn’t disappoint! After we finished we was asked if we wanted dessert. I couldn’t eat anything else so we paid, drank up and left. But great experience overall.. thanks Emily!

I have booked several clients into Impossible for private hire and I can not fault them at all. They went above and beyond with all our client requirements. Will 100% be using the venue again.

25th of January 2025. So after hearing all the hype and rave about impossible our group decided to head on over there for some late night drinks after work. We got there and spoke to the bouncer on the door who was very respectful and polite and couldn’t do enough for you, we got into the payment area and this is where things went wrong. I get to the till and pay £700 for a table at the V.I.P section, which was fine by me however you then pay entry which I also paid everyone’s entry and two random people’s entry which was a joke. We get to the V.I.P table, which is as far away from the club as possible. The atmosphere was awful and your crammed in a back cupboard basically. We order drinks up to £700.00, but here’s the funny part. We actually got two bottles which amounted to around £525 meaning £175 we asked to go on shots. They then said we got serviced charged £176.66 . So my friend paid £1.66 on top of £175 as a SERVICE CHARGE. Then another lady came over saying we ordered extra mixer, and she didn’t believe us so we had to pull our bank accounts up to prove we already paid. All in all. WORSE CLUB IN MANCHESTER. Wouldn’t even give them 1 star 🌟

The worst bottomless brunch I have been to. Cocktails all seemed to be out of stock apart from two when there’s only four to choose from anyway and I have seen a lot of people comment about them being out of stock on their experience. Food did come out quick but it was cold, started bringing the wrong dishes out and received half of it about 10 mins after the rest so I had half my food and had to wait for the other half to come out, however we did eat most of it because we were hungry. The blonde girl that served us was absolutely lovely but the girl with brown hair behind the bar was very rude I asked for the bill and she said she would bring it over, a very long while later I decided to go up and Just check where it was being nice and she was very rude saying “Yh Just give me a minute”. Then to see them in my eye view talking about me and my friends when they’re meant to be presenting a service not slagging us off behind the bar where is the professionalism?

Absolutely terrible service. We visited for a Christmas set menu meal, we booked weeks in advance and arrived at 7.45 for an 8pm booking to be told there was no tables available. We showed several members of staff our booking confirmation and eventually we were seated. We then had to wait ages for someone to take our order. It was a very busy Saturday so we waited quite a while before asking where our starters had got too only to be told the kitchen had ran out of food and had closed for the night. This was 9.45pm and far too late to be trying to get a table somewhere else. Although we were given complementary drinks on the night I was reasured a full refund of the deposit. Well its now been 6 weeks and no refund in sight and can't get through on the phone. I have emailed but had no response.

We booked a VIP table for new years for a group of us cost us 2k once we arrived we weren’t informed that we would also have to be 20 pound per person just for entry? They told us to go downstairs we had nobody direct is to what table we were sat on until we had to ask multiple times. Service was terrible we asked for drinks for our table for over an hour and didn’t get any until it passed midnight. Highly over priced and to say there was a 12% service charge at the end for Absolutely 0 service is just disgusting. Never coming back.

Spent 50 pound on a ticket to get in and the dress code was smart. I understood this and made sure to adhere to it. Still I was refused entry on the bases my pants had drawstrings. Made me wait 20 minutes in the pouring rain while they debated it only to not let me in. Lady with short hair was very rude saying nowhere would let me in and to go home and get changed despite me travelling 2 hours to get there. I got into 2 other places the same night.

Bought tickets to get in for New year. Stood outside in the rain for an hour and half only to be told at the door I couldn’t get in. So why buy tickets to venues if bouncer can say no won’t let you in What a scam. Will be contact management to get my money back but no doubt they will have some e cause not to refund. In future do not buy tickets at this venue. It’s all a scam and ripping off young people

Worst club experience I’ve ever had. Paid £1500 for a table, arrived at 10pm as requested by the club and was put on a soaking wet table underneath a ceiling leak. Told staff it was leaking was originally told no the seats are just wet we will dry them. Had to tell 4 different members of staff that no, the air conditioning was leaking and dripping on our heads. No apology but we was moved to the corner of somebody else’s table where 7 of us did not fit. We was told no money could be knocked off our bill even though we’d paid for a private table and was sharing with random people - who had also booked a private table and shouldnt have to squash with us. It was that bad we moved back to the dripping table. I had asked to move to the table next to us but was told no as it was for other paying customers who hadn’t arrived yet (they was only paying the exact same as us why should we have to have the soaking wet table when we was there 2 hours earlier than them even though it was stated all tables have to be there between 10 and 11 and the other table didn’t arrive until 12. They brought our vodka out but we had to order mixers 4 times and waited 45 minutes before they were brought out so didn’t have a drink until 11:45 after arriving at 10. They also messed our bill up 4 times trying to charge us an additional £700 which ended up being £150 after being told we was lying etc. All in all, appalling service from the management. The young waitress staff were the only compassionate people and could’ve more helpful

Arrived for work bottomless brunch, table not ready, directed to the bar, where we bought drinks. Table for 8 was 2 separate tables so we had to move furniture to sit together. Long wait for drinks, waitress had no idea what they were so constant taste tests required. Another long wait for food, generally good quality. Vegetarian option fajita was shocking, almost liquid avocado that dripped out, tasteless. Ordered drinks and then told our time was up even though we were seated late. Asked to wait in bar area for the final drinks. Bill arrived charging for 9 people even though one was cancelled, insisted we pay for absent staff. Gave up waiting for drinks and left.

I always love to come here because it’s a great spot for a drink and night out with your friends but I went again last weekend as a last minute option and had the best time. This time I had a server called Sofia who was really great and very friendly and attentive. She made sure to look after me and my friends and went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time. Will definitely be back again! Thanks Sofia!

My partner and I attended a bottomless brunch, and Raph was our server—he was absolutely incredible! We both enjoyed numerous drinks, and every single one was amazing.

The service from Raph was incredible. He was polite and very efficient with his service times. The food was very nice, too, especially as it was accommodating with a good option for me as I am vegan.

Raph was amamzing, he has the same name as me aswell which made it even better. Great service and the food was 10/10. Shout out to the bartenders aswell, amazing cocktails.

The most awful and disgusting experience vile treatment from the staff could not rate this place any lower and would not recommend at all. After booking a table of 18 girls paid a deposit and arrived on time we were firstly attempted to be sat on a small booth with nowhere near enough room to then wait 1 hour and 40 minutes for service or to receive our drinks. We stated we would leave and wanted to be refunded our deposit however were told we could not be refunded and when we were served all of the wrong drinks were brought out. The staff continuously attempted to over charge us and when questioned on this continued to become more hostile when we paid over £1,000 for this. When it then came to leaving we were cornered and surrounded by a ridiculous amount of staff threatened shoved by staff and called disgusting names for no reason after being over charged and accused of not wanting to pay despite the horrific service and treatment.

The name is definitely correct as it's impossible to find a member if staff who knows what their doing. 20mins at the bar waiting to be served. I was the only person at the bar. Asked me 3 times what I wanted. Sat at a booth then was told to move. Had to stand at the bar was then told we could actually sit their but someone else went and took the table. Sat at another table which said reserved 1730. It was 2200 at this point so could only presume they didn't turn up. Was told to move again. Wouldn't return. Drinks over priced didn't even get a full glass.

Couldn't score food as it never turned up. Bottomless brunch!?! Went home for a takeaway. £50 perhead waste of money

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE-SCAMMERS My friend has been waiting for over a month for a refund after Impossible charged her THREE TIMES for a bottomless brunch totalling 366 quid. When they finally responded to her countless emails and finally asked for her bank details, they then took weeks to send HALF of the refund she was owed. She is now back to waiting a response. Will never be returning. The brunch wasn’t even nice. Go to literally anywhere else in Manchester.

Awful experience here. The night itself was average and over priced, there’s countless better options in Manchester. Staff don’t care at all about service and everything came out at different times and most of it was wrong. My friend was over charged by £250!! She was told the card machine was down so paid an extra 3 times for the bottomless brunch. And has had the stressful ordeal of trying to get it back by emailing every day for a month. Impossible have acknowledged their wrong doing but only refunded half! She is back to square one and being ignored by customer service. Shocking

We recently booked a private room at this bar for a company event, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. One of the bartenders couldn’t prepare a simple cocktail from their own menu, while the other bartender was outright rude. Every request we made seemed to bother him, making the entire interaction unpleasant. The lack of professionalism and poor service made this the worst choice for a private booking. I definitely do not recommend this place for hosting events.

*STOLE £250 FROM ME AND REFUSE TO HELP* Went to the bottomless brunch 3rd of November. The card machine was malfunctioning so I was asked to try 3 times for it to work and was told if they took the payment all 3 times, to let them know. A month later and still no refund?? They ignore my emails (last 4 have been ignored after asking for an update) and have offered no apology or resolution apart from lying saying someone is chasing.

We had our Christmas mixer for Fusion Magazine at Impossible recently. It was a wonderful experience, brilliant service, generous drinks, great surroundings. When we left, people were queuing to get in. Recommended.

Had pre-booked tickets to meet friends inside. Door staff rude to customers in the queue and just making reasons to not let people in. I got to the front was about to do in and was then told I couldn't due the person behind me having the incorrect trainers. As I put my hand on the door men to pass he punched me in the face and said I was getting angry lol. Would never recommend and waste off money

Came for the country bottomless brunch, drinks were great prosecco and cocktails and the entertainment was really good. There was a live singer and dancers. The food wasn't great though, it was a burger and fries, unfortunately the burger was really dry and small, but it was the only let down to an otherwise great event. We all had a really good time.
