Had a beautiful roast dinner all freshly made best iv had in a while all staff are friendly . Love the fact they also do a dog roast for are 4 legged friends

We enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea with fizz today in this beautiful setting. Highly recommended. Attentive staff and a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Great service, Coffee's and breakfast were hot and tasty. Cakes were delicious. Delivery driver very polite and closed my gate, Thank you :-)

Positives: nice decor and friendly staff. Scottish breakfast tasted nice. Negatives. No kids menu so ordered beans and cheese on toast and just beans on toast for a 9 and 3 year old. Arrived as one slice of toast and half a can of beans each with one slice of cheese on one. Both cost the same even though we asked for a kids portion. So for £17.90 we got 2 slices of bread, a tin of beans and one cheese slice. Bizarre price tag for what you got - you would expect a decent main meal in a restaurant for that. However nice experience, just possible needs price review on some of the menu items and possible a kids version.

We have been coming here since it first opened and have never been disappointed. I especially like their eggs benedict and chicken Caesar salad bowl. They were busy the last time we went in and we took the last empty table but our server (a girl with red hair in a pony tail) was brilliant. She cleaned the table thoroughly, even under the condiment box and informed us that we had to order at the counter. She worked hard cleaning tables and serving the whole time we were there. She is exactly the sort of server that they need in this busy restaurant. Well done to her. The chefs in the kitchen cook everything well and the food always looks well presented and we have never had a wrong order or had to wait very long for our food. The prices are reasonable compared to other restaurants in Chester and the staff are helpful and pleasant.

Used to love coming here and have been for years, but I have noticed a decline in quality and in service. Today really was the final straw. After trying to correct an order which was brought to us wrong I was made to carry around our plates of food to and from the kitchen whilst the staff watched as they couldn’t be bothered to do it themselves. The lady who I kindly asked to help correct the order was nothing but cold and rude. The food itself has come to the same quality as Wetherspoon's but for 3x the price. Most of the food looked as if it’d been sat out in a buffet and definately wasn’t fresh. As I say I’m really dissapointed due to how fab it used to be but will not be returning due to how I was treated today.

They crossed out one of my items on my receipt, didn’t deliver it and I still paid for it. Poor from them No note to say why they couldn’t give me my main item - I wouldn’t have gone there for the other 2 items Very very poor service - extremely dissatisfied Would like a full refund but not even given the option Ordered through JustEat - this is a Pret error, not just eat so don’t just fob me off to them

We stopped as a party of 8 in Tarporley for an impromptu lunch and found this gem of a place! The staff could not have made us feel more welcome and were so attentive! We all ate different foods and I am gluten free and was served a delicious lunch. The whole party enjoyed the experience . Thank you !

Up,out and about on a beautiful but bitterly cold February morning and my twin brother and I decided to drop by this Caffe Nero outlet, been here before, always had a positive experience and so it proved on our latest visit. A great looking Caffe Nero, interior is superb, light and airy, glass fronted serving counters showcase the goodies on offer, great decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options spread throughout this cafe,its just a really good cafe to unwind in. We ordered a flat white coffee each, these were served steaming hot, we chilled out, warmed up and planned out the day ahead while sipping our coffee's. My coffee was really good, a big fan of the coffee served in Caffe Nero, its consistant in all their outlets and their flat white coffee is a particular favourite of mine. We both really enjoyed our coffee's in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to Caffe Nero we had a great time. Caffe Nero is easy to locate along Foregate Street, a street and area teeming with pubs, bars, cafe's and restaurants and some amazing architecture and a major tourist destination. Opening hours are; Monday to Saturday, 6.30am till 6pm. Sunday, 8.30am till 6pm. Well worth checking out if you're in the area or planning a trip to Chester.

Went in to do some shopping with my mum and we visited the café . e had a sausage and bacon buttie. We were served by Alicia who is a lovely polite young lady and Shania Silker cooked the breakfast and it was great, always is in here

Went here for a nice little coffee. Was served by a youngster called Dylan who dropped it all over the table. What a silly sausage. The cafe itself stunk, the surrounding houses smelled of sewage. The north of puddington smells worse than the south. It's really not worth the pain. Stay well away

Well what can you say Visited the elephant again this weekend for the second time in as many months And just brilliant Seb who served me last time was working and what a joy he is I ordered my usual bacon sourdough and a coffee and Seb remembered exactly what I had last time and even commented on it only being my second visit It’s a shame most restaurants, coffee shops & eateries don’t have staff like this An absolute joy again to have a chilled coffee and a bacon butty in relaxed surroundings with great staff 10/10 again for Seb A true asset to elephant And I won’t leave it as long for my next visit Keep up the good work Seb and the Elephant

Great tasting and great value. Was there for work and I’ll certainly be going back when I’m up this way again. Veg was fresh and crisp and bread was light and airy. A great little tucked away find.
