Pret A Manger in Cheshire West and Chester

They crossed out one of my items on my receipt, didn’t deliver it and I still paid for it. Poor from them No note to say why they couldn’t give me my main item - I wouldn’t have gone there for the other 2 items Very very poor service - extremely dissatisfied Would like a full refund but not even given the option Ordered through JustEat - this is a Pret error, not just eat so don’t just fob me off to them

Not welcoming. Dirty tables, coffee served in take away cups and expensive for the quality of the sandwiches. I will vote with my feet next time

Disgusting staff attitudes! There was a large group of us that will most certainly never be returning. We will also be spreading the word. The staff couldn’t have been ruder.

Not a good experience. The place looks tired and run down anyway but you can add to that ripped seats, 90% tables not clean enough to sit at, the canopy outside fully up so the little sun we do get is totally blocked by a huge black parasol, 7 team members behind the counter all bumping into each other directed by one pregnant woman sitting on a stool, directing her ‘team’ by the method of telling everyone what to do. All coffee served in takeaway cups, even though we wanted to stay in. Good job really, we went and sat on the benches in the shopping area in the sun, a much nicer place to drink an average coffee. This place is a fine example of complacency and lack of any customer focus. I won’t be going back.

Popped in about 5pm for quick cuppa and snack. Place had about 3 occupied tables so really wasn’t busy but the state of the place was awful. At least 6 tables needed clearing and the rest needed cleaning and that’s before we talk about the floor that needed brushing. I appreciate it was later and could only see 3 staff but this was a terrible impression to give. One staff member was very busy chatting to a customer the whole time we were there rather than clear tables. Maybe you need more staff or maybe they need to be reminded that you only get one chance to make a first impression .

Came in on my break for hot chocolate and cookie served my a male member staff who seemed new but did a great job bless him, the woman manager was doing a great job at helping him! Hot chocolate was nice and so was cookie and quick service despite it being rush hour thanks guys!

By far the finest caffeine and dining establishment in the north west. I have visited every one. It’s written in ancient legend that when the wise men travelled carrying gold, Frankincense and myrrh, they were fuelled on the coffee from the Cheshire oaks Pret. They’re original gift for the son of Mary was, in fact, a voucher to visit this very shop and experience the unmatched levels of customer service. However, on the journey the voucher was destroyed by the elements and they settled for the three gifts aforementioned. Unfortunately, through the years and various translations, this story was lost or forgotten and didn’t make it into the tellings of the New Testament, but as a testament to this excellent cafe, it was passed down through my family’s heritage and I shall spread the word.

Unimpressed - staff very sarcastic who spoke to us as we where naughty children. No hand sanitiser as you enter the restaurant, which means that that you are to touch food in the refrigerated area with possible contaminated hands. Will avoid in future.

We ordered for delivery via just eat. There is no min order and free delivery. Menu includes sandwiches , baguettes, wraps , salads, hot food , breakfast pots and more. My sister ordered the swedish meatball wrap and I ordered a chicken avocado and basil sandwich with chipotle crisps. The whole order £9.44 for two lunches. The food arrived in about 30 minutes and the driver backed right up so I could take it from the front door step. The quality of ingredients in my sandwich were very good and of good quantity. Good coffee, delicious chicken & butternut squash soup ( gluten free) & popcorn treat bar, also gluten free. Plus served by friendly & smiley chap. Will visit again! 😀

Grumpy barista sarcastically complaining to herself and waiving arms because she couldn't find a spoon. Also throwing emty cartons across the work area into the bin on the far side. She didn't seem to be happy preparing the orders. Cafe 2/3rds empty but every available table had rubbish stacked up. We had to clear our own table before we could sit down.After 15mins of being in the cafe the tables did start to get cleared but we seen no wiping down/disinfection of any tables or chairs. Tables were crummy and the chairs had dried milk stuck to them. Fridges where empty, seen people walk in and walk out it was 4pm to be honestI told the server I was eating in but I wanted a take away cup. I wasn't given a tray to carry everything to the table and didn't have a choice but to put our food on the dirty table. Maybe I'll stick with the Starbucks next door in future.

There isn't a whole heap of choice for coffee at cheshire Oaks, I always feel. We popped in here but I was horrified by a single toilet and that out of order. I didn't think they were allowed to serve sit down food then? Tables were dirty. Apart from that, standard pret.

Called in for a coffee around 11.30 and struggled to find a table, fortunately an old couple moved as they were feeling a draft, in the middle of the restaurant?Really happy staff, friendly and efficient, seemed to be helping each other out with orders at the till.Coffee really good and I had a pecan shortbread, tasty.Just the one toilet which was disabled but everyone was using it.

Every time we go in the staff are amazing very friendly and helpful. It’s normally a little later in the day when we go in so it’s quiet and very clean and tidy. We always pop in for a drink before we come home it’s become part of our Cheshire oaks day out.

As always a good visit to Pret. Good sandwiches and bites well presented and good coffee. Needs to be bigger for Chesjire Oaks as it is regularly overcrowded. On this occassion there were very few sandwiches - Strange? Still very good

I was not impressed with the very limited gluten and dairy free options available at 1.30pm - lunchtime. Hardly anything suitable although what was on the shelves looked great. Staff friendly and professional. When I asked for a coffee with coconut milk they made sure the jug was freshly washed. It was clear they understood the needed to ensure the coffee was dairy free. Could only have coffee as nothing else suitable to eat. Had lunch elsewhere that did have dairy and gluten free food available.

We always go to Pret when we go to Cheshire oaks. Coffee lovely and choice of sandwiches and salads excellent. Staff very friendly.

As a disabled customer I was so happy and pleased with the service and food in Pret today. Staff couldn’t be more helpful, offering to carry tray to the table for me despite it being busy. Young man clearing tables apologised for the delay in cleaning the table although he did so before my food arrived so it was no problem to me. Salmon and avocado flat bread wrap was lovely too.

Stopped in for lunch while wandering through Chester. Lovely place with sharp interior and graphic design, clean, fresh food and a friendly atmosphere. Recommend!

So we had to wait a while in a que but thats fine your going to find that everywhere but staff didnt look like they wanted to be there just wasnt a nice enviroment to be in

Was shopping at Cheshire Oaks and popped in for food, lovely Italian chicken salad and mango and coconut pot,also had hot drinks, nice staff, clean place,not too busy,all in all a good experience.

My daughter has gluten and dairy allergies, she also does not eat meat, the choice at lunchtime was so limited for her, we ended up just ordering black coffee. Staff very offhand when asked if more salads were going to be brought out and not very polite. Very poor service and very limited choice.

Nice place to stop with good atmosphere; range of cakes not very good, so not much to choose from and it is a tad expensive.

This is a good place where you have perhaps a better chance of getting some freshly made, breakfast and lunch food. The organic coffee too is quite good.

I visited to day after my mum had a fall they were happy to administer first aid if needed reserved us a table and bought complimentary drinks and shortbread - so kind and helpful can’t thank enough

I was shopping and decided on Pret for lunch. I had a very nice salmon salad, cake and coffee. I do like Pret's selection it's more than just cheese and ham like other places. This one had plenty of room, cheerful staff and decent food. Can't really find fault.

Pret A Manger is a great place for coffee. I find there coffee is always excellent, they also have a great range of savoury and sweet snack. This branch is quite small and can get very busy, but the staff cope well.

I quite like Pret because their service, in my experience, is faster that any other of the large chain coffee shops. This one was good.

We always pop in for a drink and sometimes a sandwich when we visit Cheshire oaks today was just drinks. The place was nice and tidy and clean. The drinks were good.

Really lovely sandwiches, with plentiful filling. Coffee was perfect, too. Tables are cleared promptly.

Stopped in here for lunch like we always do when at the Oaks. We love Pret and the lovely coffee and great selection of food on offer.

We ate here, it was expensive for what we ate. I enjoyed my tuna melt but the turmeric tea wasn't fully mixed, it had bubbles of undissolved particulars of turmeric. Staff were friendly enough, do wish they had more choice though.

Good staff great food super drinks and a decent location. Had visited McDonalds and the queue not moving (because people not serving!) Thanks goodness came here. The food was certainly better and more exciting.

Shopping at Cheshire Oaks and wanted s light lunch and drinks

I have used this place since it very 1st opened and have never been disappointed, except for the fact that sometimes you cannot get a seat or they run out of certain food stuffs, but this only proves that it is a great place to go and is very popular.

Sarnies and coffee always good and freshly made. Staff excellent and attentive - AND SMILEY! What's not to love? We'll be back - again - next time we're here, definitely!

This is a return visit and not much better. Late afternoon half the cafe sectioned off not many tables available. Squashed up in a corner with dirty tables and as always dirty toilets. This is a pleasant atmosphere or experience. Probably will not bother again xx

We popped in for a sandwich & a drink. The sandwich choice wasn't the best. I was going to have a Ham & cheese sandwich but it looked like Bacon so I went for a cheese/salad sandwich. It was ok. The tables were not exactly clean, in fact the restaurant looked a bit tatty.

When they have vegan food it is great. I especially love the vegan christmas sandwich when it is out. The value is good too.

Lovely coffee and bacon batch before 11am. All the food is good especially the egg sandwich, cinnamon swirl, and chocolate pastry.

Had to grab and run as limited time available. Friendly service - poor lass had cut herself tackling an avocado the day before ! Great chicken / bacon baton. Nice ginger beer. Good flapjack type bar. Enjoyed it.

Pret siempre es excelente para un almuerzo rápido o un café, el personal es amable y eficiente, y esta rama no es diferente. El único inconveniente de esta opción es el pobre Pret de sándwiches comparado con otras ramas.

Pausa para el almuerzo. El amor y el café también baguettes. Todo el lugar está muy limpio comparado con otras casas de café, y el personal es muy agradable. Sin duda volveremos la próxima vez.

Así que sólo llegué a Cheshire Oaks, nuestra visita anual como no viene mucho. Decidí que era casi la hora del almuerzo para frecuentar Pret, ya que la marca es uno de los favoritos de mi marido. Mi hijo y yo nunca hemos estado antes. Bien no me decepcionó en este particular branch, limpio y encantador lugar para comer, el personal era atento y amable, y la comida era adorable, tuvimos sándwiches simples y baguettes, pero estaban muy sabrosos, bien hecho, fresca y pan precioso. Sin duda volveremos a esta rama de delicias más. Preciosas zonas de asientos.

Gran lugar para refrescarse después de la búsqueda de los gangas de diseñadores outlet en Cheshire Oaks. Las opciones recién horneado siempre sabroso y de buena calidad. Bocadillos son los mejores en el centro y merece la pena un poco más! .

Coffee was nice and strong . Had a posh cheese sandwich to share which was freshly made and tasty . Staff we came in contact with weren't over friendly but they were very busy .

Great toasted ham, cheese and mustard sandwich and mocha coffee! Place was heaving on the bank holiday weekend so was great to nip in here along the way and recharge. Reasonably priced and plenty of space to sit in.

Quick, friendly service. The food was good. My only quibble is that while I know Pret is pricier than other similar brands, the difference between take out and sit in is quite big. I know there is a captive audience at a shopping mall, but it still seems a bit steep.

We ALWAYS go here for our first coffee of the day when visiting Cheshire Oaks, and along with one of Pret's wonderful sandwiches, we're all set up for about 3 hours of shopping without flagging at all. The staff are great, and you don't have to wait long to be served, even at the busiest of times. I would recommend you sit inside, though, as the smell from the wax candle shop next door can be a bit overpowering. BUT, this is no fault of Pret's. They just soldier on, doing their bit. Good for you, guys!

Great soup and sandwiches to be had here. Always freshly made. The only slight problem is trying to find a free table but this only underlines the popularity of the cafe.

I have only ever had various coffees at Pret, but I had been told by a few friends to try their Chai Late. Service was quick and the server was very polite. The drink was not what I expected, but tasted okay, very frothy but couldn't tell what I was drinking, a bit of a let down, but entirely down to my choice of drinks.I will stick to coffee in future to have with one of their tasty fresh sandwiches.

Visited with my girlfriend today to do some Christmas shopping. Love Pret. Only downside is the fact they serve everything on a metal plate. But other than that you can't knock it.

A friend and I used to often have coffee at Pret, usually after eating at one of the other food outlets like Wagamama or Pizza Express (which don't have coffee as good as Pret). We are usually not there before about 7 in the evening and have stopped going because the staff seem to spend most of the last hour of opening mopping the floors and tidying up.I know that they want to get out on time and head home for the evening, but I don't want to sip my relaxing coffee whilst people clean around me. Often you're restricted in where you can sit according to where they've already cleaned and don't want you to go.It's a shame.

We went here for breakfast last Saturday and were so impressed we decided to meet here again for lunch. For breakfast we had porridge, bacon roll and croissant. At lunchtime we had salad, filled roll and a pasta dish. The service was quick and the food delicious. Would certainly recommend this place for a healthy, quick meal.

We wanted a change from sandwiches and it came here at a chain renowned for their sandwiches !We had a tasty Macaroni Cheese with Prosciutto and a delicious South Indian Tomato soup.With a bottle of water it was just under £9.50The restaurant was clean and the service friendly

This is an excellent tea and coffee bar serving drinks and snacks located right inside the Cheshire Oaks shopping village. Just the place to chill out sit down and relaxing on a long day shopping

Went there today for coffee and cake. The flat whites were good, the cakes nice, the service excellent, the café clean both outside and in. Just what we needed after shopping.

I love it here. The staff are lovely and very helpful when you have a pram with you. It's always so busy but plenty of seats both inside and out. The food is quite authentic and interesting but very tasty and it's nothing but good, wholesome healthy food. The soups are amazing and are always served. Very very reasonably priced. Highly recommend

Close to the play park, this is our usual stop off when the kids need recharging because we can get fast food without plastic wrapping (say no to single use plastic!) and they use more natural ingredients. Tastes good too.

Often visit this chain of restaurants as their food is lovely and the staff are very good. This was no exception and we had a salad and soup. At least there is healthy food to choose from. Keep it joy Pret a manger

I visit Pret A Manger every time I visit Cheshire Oaks. Also if I go to other shopping venues my first choice is Pret. The sandwiches, soup, pastries and coffees I would rate 5star, however the cleanliness st Cheshire Oaks Pret is 0 . I visited today, a Wed 9.30am, the counters where the card machines are located we're filthy, tables and chairs were grubby , if fact the whole area felt unclean. The loo is appalling, the smell of urine is so strong. Please up your game, improve the cleanliness, sort this out before myself and many others go elsewhere........

If you like pretzels..... You will enjoy. Go shopping work up an appetite and took into some pretzels

Excellent coffee served with a smile on a very busy Sunday. The staff did well to cope with the people and the tables were cleared as soon as someone left. Excellent to be kept so clean and tidy when so busy - well done.

Having arrived at Cheshire Oaks at lunchtime we decided to have lunch before hitting the shops. We hadn't been to this branch before but have visited Pret A Manger lots in the past. I like the different choice of sandwiches, salads and toasties on offer. This time I chose the Tuna melt toastie, a lovely tasty twist on the usual offering from other places was the baby capers. Very tasty. This store kept up the Pret A Manger tradition of good service and tasty food.

Pret has really raised the bar lately.The choices of soups and sandwiches on offer gets better each week. Tasty grub, fast service. Well priced. This store is clean and really makes you feel comfortable.Lovely snack

I love the food and service in Pret. At this venue I feel like I'm being squeezed in just to get a seat. Many customers I witnessed turned around and walked out as you had to stalk for a seat. Buggies and wheelchairs struggle. Could easily fill a site twice the size. Hot soups and drinks are great, tasty and cost effective. Where I struggle is with the hot boxed food like macaroni cheese which I feel is expensive for a few hot mouthfuls. Felt let down by that. Overall a great place.

My wife and I decided to have lunch at the Pret A Manger in the Outlet Village Cheshire Oaks. We had done some shopping and did not require a heavy lunch but something light and tasty. i ordered Salad Nicoise, my wife ordered a chicken salad. Both meals looked appetizing as well as tasting fresh and delicious. The coffee was also very good. I must also mention Heather who looked after us - she was a credit to the restaurant. We shall go to this place again.

Always come gphere for coffe and /or lunch. I feel the food is so freshly prepared that it's hard to beat. The coffe is good and now the seating has been re organised there is more room.good news all round!

Having walked out of nearby Patisserie Valerie because of their horribly rude staff we walked just a few yards to Pret where we were welcomed with a smile and served very quickly. Food quality good as always with Pret

So many places forget the basics of good and welcoming customer service. Whilst it might be just a small coffee shop in a big outlet village, we always have a pit-stop here when visiting Cheshire Oaks. The staff are friendly, take time to serve you properly, the place is always spotlessly clean and tidy, and has the appearance that somebody actually cares about the service provided.Of course the food is routine Pret fare, but well presented.Well done on actually putting customers first!

Great spot to take a break from the hassle and bustle of pre Christmas shopping, all sandwiches and soups are prepared fresh on the premises, can be a bit pricey but good value alternative to the big two coffee chains

Do not be put off by the attitude of healthier eating, you will be surprised by the wide variety of food available at this venue, all extremely enjoyable. go along give your tummy a healthy surprise

Visited the cafe at Cheshire Oaks today and asked for a drink that was not on the menu but the assistant ( Michelle? ) went out of her way to make a suitable drink for me to try and didn't charge me, brilliant customer service.
