Went here for an open mic night which is on every other Thursday. A really good night with many talented performers and the odd not so talented but all are welcome. Very busy pub with good beers and selection of non alcoholic drinks. Staff are friendly and the landlord is very welcoming.

What can i say about this place…..brilliant. The owners Sue and Paul are fantastic hosts they make you feel so welcome. Live music 3 times a week including Sunday afternoon. It has an outside garden, the locals are friendly …..and it’s the only pub in the north that sells rattler on draft. When you next visit the area give it a whirl, you won’t be disappointed. Also a special mention goes out to Steve and Kerry. Great members of staff.

Super cool but I was really drunk!

They don’t do food but a great pub with lovely host (Paul) and staff. Very welcoming to us allowing overnight stop in campervan. I’d booked ahead and space was reserved with cones. Car park best suited to smaller vehicles , not large motorhomes. It was a Thursday and happened to be open mic night. Brilliant atmosphere and lots of musicians performing. Highly recommend.

Read that this was one of the cheapest pubs in the town but not at £9 for a pint of Trappers Hat and a glass of white wine.

Popped in for a drink on a Saturday afternoon. Great clean pub and friendly service. TV's mounted on walls and lots of different styles of seating areas. Live music on certain nights. Nice and cool on a hot summers day too. Seating area outside at rear.

I can't believe I hadn't put a review on about The Brewer's before now sorry. This is a real community pub, with a great landlord and landlady. The highlights are a warm welcome, log fire, decent beer, and probably the best venue for live music in Wirral. Top marks 👏 👏

I’m from liverpool and I’ve only ever been here a couple of times and the bar staff Jordan and Kyle are so welcoming lovely and friendly I couldn’t of asked for a better experience and the owner charlie is an amazing host so very welcoming and lovely I love it here I wish this was my local pub I’ll definitely be visiting here again such a lovely atmosphere!!

Great pub, Paul is a great landlord, always welcoming and friendly, and always has great artists on Fri. Sat. and Sun afternoon.

It’s a lovely pub with lovely music, often a group, on a Sunday late afternoon but no food of any kind even though board outside offers food.

Tonight we had a Sunday roast which for our taste was just about the right size. It was very well prepared and cooked a d very enjoyable though there were to few roast potatoes and very small. The staff were friendly and very attentive. The only downside is that a pint of Peroni will cost you £5.70 which I feel is extortionate. I

Stopped off cold and wet when hail hit on a cycle ride and was greeted by a warm welcome from Charlie. Allowed us to leave wet clothes near the fire and sorted us a table outside. Pints were good and staff all friendly can’t wait to return when we can go inside and enjoy this lovely pub. Thanks

As a visitor found this pub most welcoming especially from landlord Paul. Only here for a drink but noticed the Sun. lunches were doing well. Sat in the courtyard which was very pleasant enjoying a pint from the Brimstage brewery not far away. Even a couple of cyclists from the nearby Wirral Way were allowed to bring their bikes inside.

You can’t beat the Brewers for a fab welcome! It’s an amazing pub..Paul and Suzy and staff are so genuine... it’s got a lovely atmosphere, immaculately clean, and in these times of Covid, we feel very safe with the systems in place. Please be aware of this snug little den all smiles and light in the day hiding behind its regular punters that drink all day then go home by 5 but at night of a weekend it’s a dealers home from home I now know why thy call the owner CHARLIE of a pubs like this should be shut down bringing disgrace to a somewhat quiet town !

Genial host and warming open fire. Very handy for Town centre.

Called in with friends for coffee and a pint , beer was fine and served in nice handled glasses, coffee was cappocino, not very frothy but tasted quite nice, lovely log burning fire and very cosy on a cold day, it was our first visit but will probably go back and try something off the menu which was reasonably priced.

I went on Tuesday just for a drink,found they had a jazz band on. A great night though not a lot of people there. Nobody seemed to know the band was on. Would go again though.

Quite nice small village pub. Traditional with dart board and a couple of real ales alongside all the normal beers ciders and spirits on offer. Cheap and cheerful meals available. My friend who lives nearby tells me the Sunday lunches are very good. They also have a selection of pensioners portion meals priced at £3.95. Prompt friendly service.

Love this place! The service was excellent, the beer was poured to perfection. Only down side is the jukebox can be a bit too loud at times, but I don't mind as long as the music is right!! Will be back!

As other people have said, its darker than it needs to be. About 10 people in there on a saturday night, and the music from the jukebox was very LOUD. That apart, staff were friendly, poured a good point of Guinness, and the wine i am told was good.

Made very welcome on a night out with my daughter's uni friends. Not played pool for many years and locals made a great evening!

Been here a few times and it always seems darkLooks like theirs saving on the electric bill....Other than that the food is good but the ale is seriously overpriced Considering that it’s now a Freehouse the prices reflect those off a central London establishment

We've visited this pub many times over the years and its a nice local for a quick pint or a meal when in Neston. Friendly service, lovely historic building and good food.However there is a really nice function room to the rear with a private "beer garden" if you need to book somewhere for a family event.Sadly we needed a local location for a Wake after a family funeral and this location seemed ok. The owner Paul was incredibly helpful, good buffet, made sure the function area was set up as we needed and was there throughout to make sure food and coffee's, tea's etc were available as part of the service. Really appreciated his help.So a good place for pub grub or a pint, but also bear it in mind for small-medium gatherings.
