Beautiful rooms really clean and stunning interior. Staff are really friendly and the breakfast was delicious!

Good drinks offer on the day we visited (Thurs), nice decor and good atmosphere. Nice staff. Well kept cask ales. Well worth a visit if in the area.

Stayed before 18 months ago, things have dramatically improved since my last stay. Staff were attentive, atmosphere in the restaurant was great, and with the new menu (to me anyway), the food. Sirloin Steak cooked to perfection and service was excellent.

Excellent from start to finish - friendly welcome, great food, wonderful room and loved the options for breakfast.

Had four nights at Hartford Hall last week. We had dinner in the bar area twice and once in the restaurant. The service in both was excellent, all the staff were friendly and very efficient despite the fact it always seems to be busy. Room good too, cleaned nicely each day.

We came to the Michael Buble dinner dance, wow what a night, the food, the service, the entertainment were all absolutely superb, we were a party of 13 and we all loved it. Hope you do more dinner dance tribute acts 👍

Not safe for allergy sufferers. Despite making staff aware, consulting the allergy information provided, and intentionally picking low risk meals - and this being the first meal of my day - I was still hospitalised and had a severe reaction requiring 999 support. The meal I ate was listed as vegan on the menu (I'm allergic to milk) and was not a high risk item for milk in any regard - and don't give me cross contamination risk because it was dead at the time. Staff are all pretty nice though so that's good. But not dying is nicer - not worth the risk.

We just stayed here for one night. Our room was really comfortable. I like that they don’t include breakfast in their room rates because not everyone wants a full English breakfast. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are very clean .

1st time visiting Hartford Hall for a meal yesterday as a walk-in. It was a lovely atmosphere, busy and looked warm and inviting. We were sat down and we chose our drinks and food. We didn't wait long. It was lovely. We both really enjoyed our meals. Our server was a lovely girl and had an Irish accent. She came to check if everything was okay with our meals and we had coffee's to finish. We were pleasantly surprised whe. We received the bill. Great value for money. We will definitely visit again soon!

Stayed for two nights was totally impressed with cosy bar good breakfast and room had all we required without being over the top ALL STAFF were extremely helpful courteous and very professional which is a rarity today even the younger staff were so helpful and polite as though they wanted to be there and enjoying their work Me and my wife would certainly recommend and will be staying therein the near future

Wow what a lovely place too stay the rooms are spacious especially the family room its huge and very comfortable too sleep in nice and quiet or you could just have a meal lots too choose from on the menu too suit everybody the staff are so friendly,helpful and its a great place roo relax and have a good time

Lovely venue. Food was excellent and really well priced. Service faultless. Pizza looked delicious, my son ate the lot. The sirloin steak was cooked to perfection accompanied by a nice cold pint of Madri. Would definitely recommend

Just love the atmosphere... Great breakfast reasonable priced too. Good location to get to Chester for a day out... best place in Northwich to stay.

We stayed the night at Heartford Hall Hotel and had such a lovely experience. Room was lovely with a great shower and nucely decorated. Went for dinner which was really good, my husband had the Pork Belly and I had a prawn and veg salad. Staff were realky helpfull and friendly also. Would definitely come back here.

Excellent food and great place to stay for a dog friendly getaway

Attractive looking hotel, rooms to one side in annex. Parking tricky as it was very busy. Had to rush to order meal as last orders for meals 7.45pm, on a Saturday? Room tiny and nothing like pictures. Entrance to rooms grubby. Facilities in room ok, bathroom well appointed, plenty of towels. Room was set up as twin despite me booking a double, but staff very helpful and resolved it. Hardly room to move around and little space to put things. Lighting awful, half not working. Went for meal, very busy and nice atmosphere but meal mediocre at best sadly. Good service though and dog friendly with dog treats etc. Expensive for what we had.

Overnight stay with food and drinks. Can't fault this hotel. Food was great, staff were very friendly and professional.

Gone downhill over last year or 2..pleasant enough, nothing special anymore

Went on website to book breakfast and site said 33% discount for online booking for food, with no disclaimers or t&c, and nothing on the conformation email. When it came to paying they refused to honour the 33% discount saying it didn't apply to breakfast, despite nothing on the site when booking. Had to argue and best they would do was 10%. We'd only booked here because of the discount offer. When we were there it was also being painted, so that alone should warrant a discount. Anyhow, if the food was amazing maybe wouldn't be bothered about a discount but it was bang average. Had much better breakfasts in many other local places.

Food was nice but would have been nice to have had the ‘light bite’ dessert option brought out at the same time as the dessert. One person had to wait 10 mins and the others had eaten their desserts and had plates taken away before the cake and coffee came. Would also be nice to know if there is a delay with it as we asked 2 staff and before getting an update. Would visit again though.

Cute little place. It’s like stepping into a fairytale. The staff is very friendly and service minded. Beers were great and the atmosphere and decoration of the bar areas couldn't be better. Rooms were nice and spacious. Would stay here again.

Where better to be than Hartford Hall for New Years Eve! From the amazingly tasty food (as per the photos attached!), to the super efficient service and perfect "disco", just booking for next year already! Just so rare to find the total combo of all the best in one evening. See you again, and a lot sooner than NYE 2025!!

I recently visited Hartford Hall and was thoroughly impressed! The food was excellent, featuring a diverse menu that offers something for everyone—each dish bursting with flavor and freshness. Food review. A lovely pub with a reasonably priced menu and choice. Four of us ordered off the sandwich menu. My club sandwich was delish with chunky chips. We all enjoyed our food. Nice staff, nothing too much trouble. We will definitely return.

Stayed over. Never used pub/restaurant. No iron or ironing board in room. No way of controlling temperature. Difficult to use bathroom sink as tray above attached to mirror hung too low. A little dated in parts with flaking paint and wall paper. Other than that, pleasant enough stay.

Called in to eat only. Really good meal , I had the pie, nice filling and a great selection of seasonal vegetables. Nice?, helpful staff

We are a small walking group and booked lunch after our walk. Staff were really helpful and friendly. The menu was extensive and they have special daily offers; all 8 in our group went for the fish & chips (only on Tuesdays) which was great value. The food was freshly cooked and delicious. A very good experience.

The accommodation, food and drinks and most of all the staff where amazing, Chris and Ed went the extra mile, and my dogs loved it.. nothing was to much. Kate, Charlie, Tash and the other lady that is on in the mornings where excellent.

All the staff ( front desk, restaurant, bar and the ladies taking care of the rooms ) is really attentive and helpful since we first arrived . We did not choose the early check in however the gentleman at the front desk offered us some coffee and tea and make sure the room was already asap. We will definitely come back in another occasion and we also will suggest you to our family and friends. BIG THANK YOU!!

We had a fabulous time celebrating our daughters 16th today. Staff looked after our large party. Big shout out to Chloe who was brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble.

Dined as part of a large party. Service was extremely slow Vegetarian options limited and unfortunately mine was luke warm. Other party members enjoyed there's. Long wait between courses....

Excellent stay from the min we walked in. A very friendly welcome from 2 members of staff. A lovely little reception area to check-in. Very efficient, our room was really nice, spacious with a beautiful bathroom. The bar/restaurant areas are beautiful, we were made to feel welcome from start to finish. We only had lunch as we were in the area visiting friends, but it was delicious. We will definitely return and have already recommended the hotel to our friends, for a weekend away.

Really professional and friendly team. The rooms are spacious and luxurious, you even get your own bath robe! Comfortable beds, and excellent coffee and coffee machine in the room! The shower over the roll top bath was hot and powerful, and the shampoo and shower gels provided smelled really nice.

Went with group of friends. We had drinks, starters and main courses. All amazing and everyone enjoyed their food. Stand out items on menu were the Nduja prawns, the pork belly and one of our friends had vegan option which was cauliflower steak which was delicious. Drinks would recommend the pumpkin spiced espresso martini and the rose prosecco.

Stayed at Hartford Hall for two nights whilst attending a family wedding in the local area. Hotel rooms and public areas were spotlessly clean, staff were friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious.

This was a stop over visit on our way further south and was not expecting what we got! The place is perfect! Restaurant/bar area lovely, staff attentive and friendly, rooms decorated to a high standard and we wished had been staying longer! Will definitely be back. Our golden retriever Bobby also loved his stay and it's definitely a dog friendly place! He was treated just as well as we were!

This was our last meal on our UK trip with Hartford local friends. The food wast presented nicely and tasted great. Mia was friendly and provided wonderful table service.

Fabulous meal and service. Meat and potato pie, bangers and mash delicious. Visiting over from the States and we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Lovely atmosphere for food & drinks. The decor is really nice and the food is good. The menu is very varied and there is a good choice. The garden area is big and fantastic in the summer. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We recently moved to the area and this will be our favourite local spot!

Absolutely wonderful stay for 2 nights in the Chester Suite as part of our wedding at RoomONE Hartford Golf Club. Manager and staff were absolutely brilliant and very flexible with the other guest rooms regarding early check-in. Superb location for HGC . The pub was beautiful, food delicious 😋

Attended the 80s/90s dinner last night. It was fantastic. The singer, Lucy Emma, was brilliant and had the room buzzing. The food was great, served efficiently and promptly by young staff who were very polite and professional. A special shout out to Tom who was out particular server. Looking forward to Christmas

OMG! Talk about "out of the blue"!! Been past this place several times and it always looked intriguing so thought may "give it a go"!! From Tom serving us with extensive knowledge on menus, wine and food, we ordered just a main each as per the photo and werent disappointed! The food was perfectly hot, cooked to perfection and full of crazy beautiful flavours. Thank You guys and we will be back VERY soon!! (P.S. Booked NYE as we were leaving!!) Cheers Jim and Maria

Good hotel in first class location. Hand for road network. Can be very busy in the outside seating area, which delays meals in the restaurant from time of ordering to being served. But food when it arrives, is hot, not overcooked and first class.

Visited with friends for lunch . Tom was our waiter who was friendly ,chatty and served us brilliantly. Lovely food and great restaurant.

Great wee stop as we travelled from Glasgow to pick up car at FOW on fri 26th July. We booked last minute and got a great rate. Room was fab with coffee machine which was an added bonus. Food in restaurant was delicious and staff were very friendly. Thank you👍

My friend has a very serious cancer & following a stroke part way through his cancer treatment we wanted to treat him to a good meal out. This was the perfect stop - he lives locally & recommended it and I am glad he did. The people were friendly & welcoming, the seating area was lovely & comfy, the menu was great, such a good selection, especially for a veggie, a nut allergy & a diabetic. Then the food itself - all 4 of us were impressed. Great food, good portions, well presented & very tasty. Thank U - Thank U - Thank U. It made the trip a huge success - John really enjoyed himself, even though he was tired when we got him home. Later he sent us a text to thank us for travelling & taking him out. I would highly recommend this place whole heartedly. Again, BIG Thank U. x.

Suite spacious and well appointed Good and welcoming service

Food was especially awful - old tough meat. Almost choked and was not offered steak knife. Microwaved vegetables. Not fresh at all. Avoid.

We had a great meal at Hartford Hall both Charlotte and Mia were amazing and looked after us. Great value 241 on Pizza on Fridays. Real pizza oven! We live locally and it’s a short walk to an amazing pub. Highly recommend!!!
