Really awful, worst Costa have ever been to. Dreadful service, managers and staff are quite rude and have no idea about customer service. Dark and dingy. There always seems to be some issue, often they don't have takeaway cups, no internet for months or heating / water off. Costa at the top of Market St is way better. I would shut this one down to be fair. It's not fit to carry the Costa brand. Quick update peeps. This still appears to be one of the lowest performing Costa restaurants out there. Some of the negative reviews tend to reflect accurately the performance of this coffee shop and it's management. I continue to avoid this place like the plague. There are 5 Costa coffee shops that I visit on a regular basis. This place is not in the same league as them. I echo other reviewers thoughts in terms of poor service, staff with a terrible attitude, poor environment. Also the place is very badly managed and the area manager has to take some responsibility for that, and for not maintaining the right standards at this branch. Must do better, but as per past experiences this branch probably won't. I welcome further discussions with Costa head office on this. But then again, their customer service colleagues also leave a lot to be desired. Let's leave it there for now.

This has to be my worst experience in a wetherspoons pub! Drinks were fine, but the food was awful! We ordered the American burger, it was dry and bland. It should come with ketchup and American style mustard, I tasted neither of these, just a bland burger. The chips that accompanied this were soft and tasteless. We really thought these were poor oven chips, but we were informed by Ava that these were fried (really can't believe that). They had to be the worst chips I have ever had, and probably the worst meal that I can remember having. Unfortunately it wasn't helped by the attitude of Ava, who after we complained said " I hope you are embarrassed by what you have said".

The young lady working was fabulous. She was so friendly and made good subs her name was Arsh!! She should get a raise. Clean environment FABULOUS service

stayed here for 4 nights really nice welcome young man showed us to room helped up with cases room clean house keepers in every day toping coffee towels etc beds really comfortable residents get 10percent of food and drinks food really good nice hearty breakfast always served with a smile would definatly go back carry on the good work all the team

El servicio más lento de la historia. ¿Qué sentido tiene tener dos grandes cafeteras y 6 empleados detrás de la barra. . . si solo una persona recibe pedidos mientras hace tostadas también? Es una broma... el personal está más interesado en chatear con cada pedido que en atender a los clientes... Lugar se ven bien después de la renovación. . . pero defo necesitan una mejor organización. . . ya que no todo el mundo quiere pasar 1 h esperando para tomar un pedido. . .

Recently stayed in Winsford with family. Got a shop from Aldi and nipped into here next door. Convenient parking to the rear (so we thought). Read the sign which stated 90mins parking. We was in and out in 50 mins with a spot of breakfast. A week later i get a Euro Car Parks parking fine on the doormat. Had it happen before, managers have been accomodating and been able to have sway with the car park operator upon proof of reciept. So rang and the manager was most unhelpful, we had seated ourselves and ordered to the table, at no point did staff in the place advise that the reg needed to be input in a screen at the end of the bar. Manager advised to pay it within the 14 days so it is "only £45"... Its a £45 i dont have, for parking on a car park with Queens Arms signage, whilst in the said pub spending money. Ive worked in hospitality where head office have flogged the car parks to parking eye or euro, we always used to have discretion in getting fines cancelled when a customer could show proof. I feel the "not our problem" attitude in this case was unprofessional and certainly shows they only want custom and dont care to help at all. Wetherspoons are my go to wherever i am, i used to work in one myself, but i certainly wont go back here and would advise others to be wary if taking a vehicle

Clean and tidy Food could cooked a bit better and placed on plate better. Had to wait to get my pot of tea. Only one person on till and serving the drinks.

Ordered Caramel Latte , service was quick ,but drink was terrible very watery consistency to it had already started to walk away and was in a rush to catch train otherwise I would have returned it

We had tea, coffee and blackcurrant cider. Outside entertainment was not on, but was open. Inside had a lovely man playing older songs. April: doors propped open and heaters on. Pointless having heaters on with every door propped open. Expensive drinks.

Do not need to say much about the quality of coffee because Starbucks always serves you similar level of quality of coffee in each cup to the customers. This cosy branch makes you feel like home due to the friendliness of the staffs. All of...

Llamé aquí el sábado por la tarde cuando estábamos en Manchester para un concierto por la noche. Vio este lugar y entró. Gran selección de cervezas y sidras disponibles en grifo y barril. Tuve un par de cervezas pálidas y se sentó al frente bajo el sol. Muy recomendable. Echa un vistazo a la tienda modernista frente al whisky allí sugiero.
