Clean and tidy Food could cooked a bit better and placed on plate better. Had to wait to get my pot of tea. Only one person on till and serving the drinks.

Roast dinner was plentiful but cold and inedible. We waited 40 minutes for our food as it was so busy as it was a sunny Sunday.

Waited a very long time to be served there was only one cashier who had to also make the drinks for the customers The girl worked really hard trying to keep everyone happy it will be a long time before I go back

Popped in at 4pm for quick coffee and a snack. The two staff working were so friendly. Great efficient service with a smile. Especially jack who chatted to us at the table. Very friendly and a credit to the team. Coffee and food were very good and the toasty was very tasty, at a great price.

Went for Sunday lunch, the only thing worth eating was the bit of thin beef. Will never go again. Good food wasted. Need staff that can cook.

The food is really very poor, and the waiting time is way too long . They have one person on the till and also if you order hot drinks they leave their till position to make your drinks and the que soon builds up I visited on 31st January and was really disappointed the floor had food all over it the tables needed wiping down, it wasn't a pleasant eating experience to be honest it felt dirty.. On leaving the store I asked to speak to the manager and voiced my concerns on the hygiene of the restaurant. She was very apologetic and we walked through the restaurant. I pointed out the food all over the floor tables propped up with bits of cardboard to stop them rocking it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days She totally agreed with me and took on board my concerns. The last couple of times I visited the restaurant it was really poor but that was some time ago so I thought I would give Morrisons the benefit of the doubt but unfortunately it's still poor In conclusion I will not be returning...

I came in for food on my break from work and had an all day breakfast. It was presented well and tasted just as good. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. It's a busy seaside area and at times can be a hectic area to work in. Hats off to all the hard working dedicated staff in Morrisons Cafe.

Most unorganised cafe / restaurant I’ve ever been in. Ordered two adult meals two kids meals. Adult meals delivered wrong and cold , taken back explained food was cold . Two new !! Meals delivered, again only warm , by this time kids had eaten their meal . Both adults only ate bits of meal. Staff running round like deers in headlights- after finishing we walked around Morrison’s shop but had to leave as I wanted to vomit - got to car and actually threw up . Avoid at all cost I had to give one point as unable to complete without giving anything

Disgraceful …, in every sense of the world. The poor staff doing everything they could and it was just carnage in there. Freya, managing everything on her own with still a smile on her face. You should be ashamed of yourselves for having such an understaffed, filthy environment for your customers to dine in and staff to work in. If you think this is good enough for your customers well think again .. you lost 4 today after our disgraceful experience. Your staff and customers deserve better. !!!!!

Had breakfast there for four consecutive days. Generally okay and good value for money. I'll forgive the hair that was in my breakfast on the first day. I'd suggest that the tables need a good clean and the food served hot rather than luke warm. Also how much more pleasant it would be without the music which was too loud. Staff working hard and very helpful and friendly.

Went for lunch at Morrisons New Brignton,was really Lovely.We had Chicken Chips &Salad.Chicken done perfect, best chips ever. Meal was 2 for £10 at the time coffee included.BrillianTha ms Morrisons.

Cafe insufficiently staffed, queue barely moving for long periods whilst one staff member chatted to her friends at a table right in front of us. Management need to provide more till staff as one person serving coffees and taking food orders not enough at busy times.

Great service as always, lovely friendly staff. I had breakfast this morning and a latte (beautifully made) breakfast tasted as good as it looked - always beautifully presented and tasty. This is my favourite place to eat in New Brighton ❤️

Waited over 30 mins for food to then be toldby someone from kitchen what I wanted wasn't available, so ordered something else. Was then told 10 mins later that costs alot more so if I wanted it, I'd have to pay more (fair enough) but then was told the wait would be at least 30-40 mins. Wasn't going to wait again, so decided on a refund. Awful customer service, But the poor girl on the till was on her own, who seemed to be the doing the job of 2/3 people, dealing with everything and a queue of at least 25 people, while having questions thrown at her left, right and centre. This place is clearly understaffed, as tables were also dirty, and piled with dishes. We left in the end and went into town for food. Certainly won't be coming back here. And from what I saw, I wasn't the only one leaving.

Went to Morrisons cafe in New Brighton with our 3 grandchildren yesterday. Not impressed! Seems to be mostly self-service but only 2 machines to order from and both full. Only member of staff serving was at the drinks counter and when I asked if I could order food there she said I'd have to queue at the till although there was no-one on the till to serve!! After waiting a while I had to ask another member of staff if anyone was serving before eventually the lady on the drinks counter came over. I asked for the children's sandwich meal which was supposed to be free and was told that if there were none on the shelf then they didn't have any. There were no knives in the cutlery drawer and we had to wait about 10 minutes for these. Food took about 30 minutes to arrive. We found the whole place very chaotic and feel they don't have anywhere near enough staff to provide good customer service. I found the whole experience very stressful and would not want to return.

After work this afternoon I decided to treat myself to a late lunch in Morrisons Cafe, New Brighton. One of my favourite places to eat - quick light snacks or a meal - always great food, always great service.

Went today for breakfast and I was appalled by the state of the amount of plates left everywhere unclean tables and approach of staff. Waited for our breakfast which I paid a fair amount for and was told by staff the cutlery is over there we went over and waited atleast 10 minutes for cutlery to eat by the time our food was cold. When the cutlery came they were wet and there were no napkins available to even dry them ourself. Wont be coming again.

Dirty tables, food all over floor and spilled drinks not cleaned up. Had to clean a table ourselves before we could sit down. Visited cafe for a meal tables covered in half eaten food dirty plates and cutlery even the floor was dirty, to top it off toilets a disgrace, the food we had was of a very poor standard, the person on the till could of benefited from clean clothes, seemed to be no staff, couldn't give it a low enough mark.

Hardly any sandwiches left and noticed they were not being replenished either. One poor girl on the till who was being pulled in all directions as people complaining about the wait for their orders etc. Only saw 2 lads bringing out food who were rushed off their feet, tables not getting cleared etc. Ordered some chips which were cheap frozen crinkle chips barely warm. Very disappointed as used to go the cafe a lot as reasonable but not anymore unless they up their game. Such a shame

When I'm shopping or just find myself in the area this is a great place to have time for a drink and a bite to eat. They have a surprisingly large selection of food, I always struggle with what lovely things to have. Good value, pleasant staff.

We last visited about 18 months ago, and it was pleasant, the food edible and reasonably priced. This time? Automated ordering (what?..any thing to save on staff!) food very unexciting, ice cold coffee, and a dirty table. We will not be visiting again. Such a shame as it used to have a reasonable reputation for cheap eats. You have got it wrong Morrison's, think again.

I love the fish and chips here. The fish is so fresh proper cod fillet and the lightest crispy batter. I get cravings for it and will go to New Brighton to have it. It is a busy café so there is sometimes a wait - but do what me and my mum do - we get a side salad each out of the chiller and we eat that before our fish comes - then at least you have had some veg first - sort out some of your 5 a day - then enjoy the main. What I love is the servers employed by Morrisons -I have found the friendliness of all employees here - bar none - to be warm and friendly.

Poor service-waited 25 mins for our breakfast and when it came it was cold. This is the second time this has happened. When I questioned whether it was hot the surly waitress snapped back-it's just been made -but if you want another I'll replace it which she duly did. Mine wasn't the only cold meal-the gentleman on the next table also waited 1/2hr and his meal was also stone cold! We won't be returning!

Absolutely vile. Miserable staff, waited up to an hour for food which was wrong, and/or cold. Never again. Though the prices were cheap, the food explains why. I’ve never had such an awful meal and poor service.

There was a lot of tables with empty dishes, girl was clearing them away but sporadically. Some items off the menu not sure how when you are a supermarket. Food nice but didn't get the side salad on kids burger meal

We called in after doing the weekly shop. The menu is quite varied and we decided to try the tea deal of a main and a drink for £5.75. We ordered electronically and then picked a table. Then followed a 30 minute wait for our food to arrive. The food was pretty average and not as hot as I would have liked. It is self-service for the drinks which we weren't aware of until the waitress brought the food. There are plenty of tables and free car parking. We are unlikely to return to this cafe.

Excellent food but is usually very busy and there are long queues for ladies toilet on busy days. Like all Morrisons cafes its difficult to get the free tap water with your meal. Time they provided a jug so customers could help themselves

Called in today for lunch a big mistake I ordered two fish chips and peas after half an hour it arrived only to find out they had forgot the peas so away it went only to come back with a fish all batter and cold also the chips where cold but the peas where ok I have been in this place before with no problems but shan't come again

This is a difficult review to score for the following reasons, we have almost always had a decent meal here with good service. Today we were surprised to see that you now have to order hot food via a computer and pay by card. No human in sight, I really dislike this method of cost cutting. We tried to order but found that most of the mains were not available, then a tannoy message announced that there was a forty minute delay for hot food. So we had sandwiches and a slice of fruit cake. The food was very tasty, bit of a delay with a long queue.

Food is always nicely cooked and tasty for the price you pay.

We stopped for a quick lunch before the theatre. We ordered electronically and it was easy. We had quite a long wait for our meals but when they arrived we were happy with them. Each meal was hot and tasty. I enjoyed the steak pie and mash and the other adults had the big breakfasts. The children enjoyed the spaghetti and the chicken nuggets. The café was busy but it was appeared to be clean. The prices were reasonable. The café is accessible and there is a large car park. It is close to all the seaside amenities and handy for the beach.

Decided to have our lunch before shopping in the store. We both had a mini fish and chips. Good size, especially the fish, very tasty. Service quick and friendly. Pity the bread we ordered didn’t arrive till we had finished our food.

Always busy because it is fast food and fairly priced, clean, friendly staff, however if you require a wheelchair it’s a no go area due to the fact they have all been stolen.

We were looking at the menu when a passing member of the cafe staff told us in a rather brusque manner that there was a half an hour wait for hot food. No apology or explanation for why, so we went and shopped in the store. Disappointing as we were both hungry and the food is usually very tasty.

The service myself and my family received was poor. The staff looked as if they didnt want to be there. When our food order was bought over to us, there were items missing. The person I spoke to about this was not helpful at all and asked what I wanted them to do about it?! The missing items arrived as we'd finished eating the rest of the food! Food was edible. Won't rush back in a hurry!

Stayed in New Brighton recently and had breakfast here each day. Good value and friendly service. Wish we could say similar about the store. Seem to have problems with stock as items often not available or dates of food either that day or next day. Spoke to manager about this and he was quite offhand blaming staff and deliveries.

The prices here are quite cheap so if you want to eat in or even grab a Butty for a picnic then its cheap. The menu is excellent and the only slight downside is ....... the fact that compared to the overall store size the cafe is on the small side and can be very packed at times and weekends.

This is an excellent spot to have a quick tasty lunch for example. Soup, sandwiches and cooked meals are available

Last tuesday we went to the cafe inside New Brighton Morrisons,it was busy, but we were served very quickly with the small breakfasts and 2 pots of tea.food was hot, fresh and well cooked ,the best we ever had.staff very kind ,helpful and first class. nothing too much trouble.the place was spotless,could do with another person to bring the food out as they were rushed off their feet/No complaints at all.Would go again this was our 3rd visit ,all been fine.would go again.The only problem the ladies toilets of which there are only 3,one was out of order and the queue was long!!!

He can wait Abit longer vegetarians up own a:$"S I was fuming told the nice lady who's face was bright red who knew I could hear what she had said could I have a refund please she said can't on this till have to onto customer service I was like oh OK thanks went customer service waited by desk then man said have to go kiosk went kiosk then kiosk woman said go customer service what a joke got my money back for my meal never felt so let down by a member of staff has dragged the whole shop down just That one

the food is terrible microwave pie yuk gravy running down jug , the tables are so badly marked with stains the floor is so filthy dirty left food on the floor staff stepping over the waste to take food to other tables u would think some one would get a brush and clean up before someone has a fall I shall not return to eat in this café again bush I shall still shop at morrisons .

Ordered food and a slush for my little lad sat down went back for a straw for his slush oh we dont do straws any more i said well how does he drink his slush oh replied the idiot behind the till people have been using spoons if your not going to issue straws i said to her you shouldn't be selling slushes never again will i visit this stupid cafe.

Have coffee here about once a week, service is slow, also food a bit pricey, be prepared to queue, the staff on the till also have to do extra work such as filling up the cups etc, why are there no tea cups anymore? Just mugs for both coffee and tea?

Although there are lots of places to get your coffee or a quick meal in New Brighton the staff at Morrisons are always cheerful and pleased to help. The installation of more movable chairs (rather than fixed) last year make it much more user friendly for disabled customers.

Afternoon tea: - two quarter sandwiches - scone with jam & cream - a pot of tea £2,75 !! Why would you not do it!

Went in one evening as just wanted a light snack had soup only had 1 choice left which I ordered and when it arrived it wasn't hot all the way through needed a good stir and the roll was so thick with butter. This cafe is quite good, certainly good value, and good food which makes it popular so finding a table at certain times is tricky, breakfasts are excellent value

Today I enjoyed lunch here at the Morrisons cafe. Tasty tuna sweet corn sandwich with crisps and their great cappuccino with a cream jam scone to finish all for £5.05.

Stayed at the local Travelodge for the and popped in Sunday morning for breakfast. Had the big breakfast sausage, 3 slices bacon, beans, mushroons, egg, 2 hash browns and fried bread well worth the money at less than £5! Will definitely be back if staying at the Travelodge again or just in the area.
