The young lady yesterday made me a nice coffee and made my day

Second Americano from here in recent days and my advice is to order it extra hot or get a milk-based drink where they’ll at least steam it. Today, I hadn’t even reached the platform and I’d drunk the medium-sized drink. If I didn’t have a train to catch, I’d have taken it back. Lukewarm at best.

It’s been closed for the last few weeks and won’t be opened until they fix the floor after the leak

First time visiting this Costa kiosk at the Piccadilly train station after paying £3.50 on Too Good to Go for a surprise bag. Generous amount of delicious baked goods: 3 x sandwiches and two fresh pastries. Excellent food quality as our dinner. The staff were very friendly too. Would definitely come back again using the Too Good to Go deal.

Always the most friendly team and great energy when I get my early morning trains from Piccadilly, always swift service!

Great place to pick up a real quality brew before boarding your train. Really friendly and helpful staff and efficient service despite the heavy demand which comes in lumps as trains arrive at the station. They are very quick in my opinion to get the queue down and it's a real quality brew.

Ordered a medium hot chocolate at Piccadilly station Manchester with 12mins till my train. They were busy with maybe 5 orders in front. Initially when I was in the Queue they were getting through orders quickly. However they took too long trying to figure out who belonged to prepared drinks. Instead of one staff member doing this they all were. Then the barista seemed to loose where they were up to in orders and was just looking at slips. Both myself and two girls had to leave without our drinks or would have missed train. It was a judgement to make the order but the staff are normally really organised and quick. It was mainly disappointing but also money spent without getting product.

Really friendly staff even at 5am!! Next time I have a 6am train I shall be ordering my coffee from here!

Says that it opens at 5am, we waited until 5:08am but sadly we couldnt wait any longer as we had to get the train. If you say you open at 5 then you should be opening at 5, especially considering the kind of establishment you are and where you are located. Being in a train station means being open early is important

Good place to grab a quick coffee and snacks. Quick service, polite staff. They offer Vegan options as well Swap it with Soya milk for free!!

I went to the little stand next to platform 10 on a Friday morning and had the best service ever. The staff was very friendly and did not hesitate to accommodate me (my drink only came in a medium size, but they made me a large as his is what I wanted). The Hazel maple latte was delicious. Would definitely recommend when travelling in the morning.

Came here for a very early morning coffee before jumping on the train to London, was served by a lovely young man who was very polite and helped me with my order even though there was a queue of people waiting. Can’t wait to visit again!

Well cappuccino tasted a bit bitter for my liking otherwise same as you would expect from any other Costa.... It's inside the station so not a bad place to attract customers.Busy for sure

Stale shortbread awful fell apart Latte over ice ok. Very dirty round the sugar area. Waste of £5

The cafe is always crowded, this is normal. However the security guy was very rude. He was looking his phone. When I entered I asked him "Sorry, when the shop is closing?" He said "I have an etiquette, try again." I could not understand and asked again. He answered in the same way. I said "Sir, English is my second language. What I am gonna try again?" Instead of an answer he said "Try again". This was discriminative and humiliating approach.

I was waiting on family arriving as I was taking them to another cafe in the station.This was just a kiosk for a quick coffee for myself.The gentleman was very pleasant and helpful but I didnt want food as I’d other arrangements. I will use the kiosk again though when in the station as it’s quick good service and coffee to my taste..

Purchased a toastie here for my train journey and it was really yummy, had it toasted for me also. Good service.

Walking past the Costa upstairs to a bald member of staff punching the counter and had a raised aggressive voice! Very intimidating! Won’t be visiting this store! And suggest others keep away! What vile unprofessional behaviour!

Worst Costa coffee ever! There was no sweetener and when I asked was answered in a rude manner, "white sugar, brown sugar only" by a man who had the airs of a manager. I said I'm diabetic, was looked down. I brought the coffee cup back empty because there were no bins around and I didn't want to leave it anywhere. I repeat, I brought the cup and kindly asked if they could throw it, the man refused! In times like this when people are cutting on extras, great customer service is a must. Then people go bust and don't understand why and they miss the opportunity to sell more with bad attitude.

Ordered a caramel cappuccino as my free reward, instead I received an oat wet latte? This was after confirming with the barista my drink. Unfortunately, when i realised i was already on the train and couldn't get it returned, a waste of a free reward drink :(

Ended up abandoning my coffee because they were being so slow and I had a train to catch. I understand if it's truly busy but the staff were quite frankly in no hurry whatsoever. I'd recommend ensuring you have at least 10 mins to spare if ordering here! £3 for nothing 😔

Filthy, coffee splatter, syrup leaks, engrained grime in corners . Floor and back room area looks like a scene from a zero rated environmental officers report, sugar and milk area dirty, Foolishly I ordered flat white and hot chocolate, both lukewarm. Informed staff drinks were lukewarm and was told no they are not. Wow will not be returning.

The barista (with red long hair) at the little Costa booth at track 13 served me one of the most satisfying filter brews I’ve had. What a surprise. Didn’t expect that out of a 1£ coffee. Great aromatic depth, close to zero bitterness, and just the right amount of acidity. Great job!

Friendly staff, drink was lovely.

Costa is my go to for coffee and the kids always want the fajitas or toasties. We were in the city from London last Wednesday. Staff are friendly but the croissants and pastry’s were definitely not fresh - they were spongey and unpleasant. It’s not the first time I’ve had Costa pastries so it was quite clear. Poor decisions being made. Little things like this let the chains down.

I like costa, but today was the 2nd time when my coffee was awful and disgusting 😖 it was like they made with expired milk, if not the tall guy making my coffee it's just not as good

The ladies working there are rude and patronising. They got my order wrong because they were all too busy chatting and joking around to listen properly. Think I'll be going to Nero from now on.

I visit here everyday for my morning coffee before work. (Platform 14 costa not the one at the bottom) I asked the lady behind the counter for my coffee which came just short of £4 . I don’t mind paying for an expensive coffee if the quality is there, which is usually is. However on this occasion I asked the lady for a cup of water. It’s like a ritual to me having a sip of water before my coffee however she refused and said ‘they’re bottles of water in the fridge’ for 1.55. When it came to paying I said I just wanted some tap water I can’t be paying 1.55 for a small bottle of water. She chose to ignore me and made me feel like I couldn’t afford it. The service disgusted me and put me in a foul mood for my busy day at work. Surely it’s illegal to refuse someone a glass of tap water when spending money.

I want to commend your barista at this branch. I have bought dozens of Salted caramel lattes recently, at several different Costas. He was the first to tell me what I had to work out the hard way - that it layers and needs a good stir. Thank you for your attention to detail.

Very ignorant young lady I asked her a question about the food I was purchasing and I didn't understand her response, I said that to her and she told me what she meant again after she let out a loud sigh, I apologised for not understanding her and she scoffed at me looked me up and down and said I guess I'm not British like you. No need for the attitude when I was just asking a question.

Unfriendly staff. When it was my turn to order, I had to wait for the cashier to end his conversation with another member of the staff. They saw I was waiting to order and they kept ignoring me for a while. 1 star just because I can't put 0. For the next time, I'll go to Starbucks Coffee, as it's opposite.

Staff are generally friendly and helpful but once this place gets too crowded, unfortunately, the staff are overwhelmed and they can only do so much so you may see that the place isn't cleaned up properly, the bin is full, spillages here and there from customers. Nonetheless, this is a standard Costa shop where you can get your usual coffee/tea/snacks fix here. I normally go for the Chai tea latte which is probably the best I've had from a chain.

Asked for a medio black americano. I watched the woman on the till pour milk into the cup. I asked if it was black and she said yes. I looked and it was white. I left it there and went to cafe nero. I won't bother them again.

Visited the counter to be greeted by rude flustered and a disgusting dirty counter! Two people only waiting for drinks so not even busy. Wouldn’t take any orders even after waiting 10 mins, so I asked if they were taking orders to be shouted at they were catching up!

Goodness! By law coffee has to be covered for public safety, which I immediately remove and waste. Such standards ludicrous when people leave trash on tables and empty sugar sachets in sugar tray. Where does one draw the line on procedures?

The time it took to make a coffee was far too long .I could have got through half of war and peace in the time it took .The reason they forgot my order!

Staff where overwhelmed with orders,general cleanliness was awful, toilets were filthy. Management should be sorting out cleaning rotas!!

Just visited for my first Black Forest soya hot chocolate of the year and the 2 woman running it were a joke, if you have an intolerance to anything don't visit as they won't make you a drink with soya or coconut milk. Very dissapointed at being told that they couldn't serve them because there was an issue with the syrup they use, pretty poor excuse when I could go elsewhere and get one but thought I'd use this one as I was on my way home. The staff shouldn't be discriminating anyone regardless of allergies, have been to this specific Costa before and had no issues but because of the woman who were serving Costa would of got a zero rating

Whilst waiting for a connecting train, I chose to have coffee and a toasted sandwich at one of my favourite pkaces in the Uk. This was COSTA NUMBER TWO AT MANCHESTER PICADILLY STATION. The staff were particularly friendly, and when I asked to have a napkin wet so I could wash my hands, the lovely senior lady gave me the bottle of hand sanitiser to use. The coffee and sandwich were delicious..as I find in all Costa coffee restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

This latte is the worst ever no foam and too hot, the lady who made this is so weird she let the milk boil and then put in a cup throw one coffee shot done! I paid money for this i want my money back!

The staff at this Costa just outside platform 14 are so rude some poor woman ordered toast from the menu to have her head bitten of by the rude red haired girl who shouted that Costa send out the boards to all cost as. Some manners would not go amiss from this girl the poor lad working with her just got orders barked at him not a nice place. It was hardly busy so no need for such a lack of customer service.

All of the coffee and pastries are as you would expect from costa is first class all day, every day. The staff are the stars of the show here, Seonaid and everyone work hard and without complaints even with some very rude and disrespectful people. It's always a pleasure to come for my coffee fix here and I would recommend coming if you are close by

Lovely customer service, however, they rush about too much. We payed for cream on our drinks and a brownie and didn’t get any of it (and obviously it’s annoying as costa so so expensive anyway!) we should’ve checked our food before we left however we was in a rush to get our train and it was very busy trying to get your orders. Disappointed that we made so much for extras and didn’t even receive half our order!

I tried to use their trash facility and got told that unless they were Costa trash, I am not allowed to use this, despite the fact that the station has someone to clear out their trash bins. Seriously, I didn't realise that Costa is so precious about rubbish! So they would rather people litter everywhere in the station?

I think it's the manager but the lady with black short hair and glasses is sooooo nice, she clearly enjoys her job and her staff are always nice with good communication skills between them, really good atmosphere :)

Wouldn't recommend. Asked for a cappuccino and got a drink wetter than a latte. They'd left it on the side for a couple of minutes so I missed my train and didn't even get a sorry about your wait. I used to work at Costa and this service was definitely not up to the brand standards set in place. Horrible.

Staff were wonderful and friendly to me and my family. Quick service and a warm friendly atmosphere helped make a long Good Friday journey a lot more bearable.

I went here before boarding my train to go to Nantwich. It is a small (actually very small) shop that only does take-away but anyways since it's inside the train station, chances are you are here to get a train. The mocha I got was...

Possibly the best breakfast I have ever put in my mouth. Friendly manager but rest of the staff could do with finding their manners - not at all disabled friendly (very high fridge and counters). But clean and delicious!

Got charged the amount of a large coffee for a regular. On top of that the milk was not frothed properly. Disappointing.

So you're in the station and want a coffee. Your choices are Starbucks, one of the more sandwich-oriented places like the Upper Crust, the kiosk on the lower ground floor by the taxis, or here. If you prefer Starbucks you'll obviously go there, but this is a good option and, for me, usually a nicer drink. This isn't really a sit-down place, although a few chairs and tables are outside, but is fine to grab a coffee before boarding a train. Service is fine, and if this branch is busy and you're heading up towards platforms 13 and 14 there is another one up there.

Conventiently located in Picadilly station the friendly and vibrant staff make for an excellent coffee experience on the go! Very clean and efficient being in the station, the service here is great!

Nice Costa spot! Serve quickly. But not really nice for stay in, it's more take away place.
