Great bar with great beer, recommend.

Friendly bar with really good selection of beers, lovely beer garden too.

Busy as it was a match day. Their cask beers are pretty expensive. Good range of cask beers for most palates. Some glassware is not stamped as pint glasses

The bar maid and man were amazing. More than happy to show the choice of beers and indulged my franking rather fecking annoying questions. It may or may not because they liked me a little bit or because I was paying for my beer, it’s a 50/50.

Great beer, I had the Good King Henry V, 9% 😜 And a Little Orla citra.

Went in with an idea of what I wanted - something intense and strong in a small glass. The bartender recommended an oak aged stout that was exactly what I was looking for. The normal strength cask beers I tried were also excellent - both the pale hoppy one and the darker malty traditional English ale.

Great ale house that I will revisit as often as I'm in Manchester.....see you next week!

Beautiful classic style pub. Like an old spit and sawdust boozer but with a fantastic choice of ales. Highly recommended.

Popped in for a pint after work, and I was asked what my shoe size was. When I said it was 12, the bar keep said "you can't be a Tory" and gave me a pint of frothing ale which I gulped down with gusto. When I did this the entire pub stood up and applauded me and we all started singing "oh jeremy cory-byn", danced a jig and then we all sat down and carried on as normal. (Great boozer, great beers, friendly staff)

Great pub. Good selection of beers & friendly staff! The welcome football fans so great stop on the way to the Etihad. Would deffo recommend. Nice lil beer garden too!

I've been going to Port Street Beer House since it opened. It's one of the best pubs in the UK, never mind Manchester. Great beers, great atmosphere and all round brilliant in every way you'd want a pub to be. Do yourself a favour and go. You won't regret it!

Great pub, although they always ask for a tip on the card machines which is a bit mad considering it is bar service. Tip for pouring a pint is a bit much.

Mate and i stopped in for a swift one on the way to old trafford (cricket!). We had 2 perfect pints of cask at a reasonable price so had to stay for a second and would have stayed all day if it wasn't for having to get to the cricket.

LOVE THIS PLACE! Having lived 20 yards away from PSBH for 10 years, and now having crossed the Pennines to Leeds I always make a beeline to what is one of the greatest drinking establishments in the world whenever I head home. Amazing atmosphere, great staff and even better beers.

Nowt better than a few pints here after a jaunt round tahn. Friendly staff, always busy with a good atmosphere, great for people watching out front on one of the 3 sunny days Manchester gets a year. Beer selection is ridiculously good, don't think I've ever had the same pint twice. Just for the information of people who use the word "woke" as a derogatory statement, there's a pub less than 50 yards where you can get yer standard piss water from. 😉

This pub is absolutely first class. Located close to the centre of town but far enough away to avoid the humdrum of Piccadilly and Stephenson Square. The staff are really friendly and this is reflected in the clientele which is varied and welcoming. The cask ale is really looked after and has seven regularly changing lines which showcase a huge range of regional breweries and returning favourites. There are also frequent take overs from smaller Manchester breweries which support the booming beer scene in the city. The keg offering is also extensive with domestic and import beers on offer. Food is largely bar snacks which includes crisps, nuts, sausage rolls and pork and cheese and onion pies. There is plenty of outdoor seating (street side at the front, alley side at the back complete with electric heaters). Upstairs there is a spacious indoor seating area where events like quizzes and board game socials are held. Top pub, great beer, no further questions.

I love it here. I don’t live in Manchester but if I’m planning a visit I have to find a way to include it in my trip. The selection of beer is amazing, the staff are lovely and it’s just a wonderful place to be!

Great little pub, relaxed atmosphere, welcoming staff who are happy to let you ‘try before you buy’, and dog friendly too! Cask beer is always in great condition, and an ever changing variety. It might be slightly more expensive than others, but the variety and condition means it’s worth it, just keep an eye on the APV as there can be a few sneaky high percentage ones in the mix!

Popped in for a post-work pint, the lady behind the bar said before I can be served she needs to know who I voted for in the General Election. After telling her it wasn't her business to know she said 'you must be a Tory' before making me leave the pub. Unfortunately this appears to be a 'woke' establishment. Will not be back.

Absolutely love this pub. It has the best selection of beers, snacks and a fantastic atmosphere. Beer garden out the back and tables and benches out the front. Staff are not only knowledgeable but they are extremely friendly. I go here as often as I can. Cannot rate it high enough!!!!

We love PSBH and we always try to visit when we're in Manchester. Great vibes, fantastic beer selection and friendly staff. Many drunken nights have ended up here and I cannot recommend them enough. Just be careful on those stairs!

I visited recently as my sister and I were in Manchester for a few days. Port Street is a quintessential beautiful craft beer pub. It was moments away from where we were staying and over 3 nights visited many times.. Reasonably priced (for someone living in London), with a great selection of beers. Service was second to none with a great chat at the bar, and bartenders that remembered our round... I can't fault this place.. .

Great beers at very reasonable prices for the area. The bar snacks are also top notch. Wide range of beers, lagers, and ales. Plenty of seats both inside and outside. Decor plain but adds to the atmosphere

We had a few beers here the other day while we watched the match upstairs. They had a great craft beer list and bartenders who seemed happy to help. Highly recommended.

£5.50 for a pint of ye ol' Guinness, a most marvelous stout that pressed upon thine lips, giving forward a most refreshing sensation. All to say it's worth a punt if you like a stout. Guinness isn't included with the burger meal deal, you have been warned!

Good little bar with gluten free. Large range of beers to chose from. Outside sitting area also available, when the sun is out in Manchester.

What a lovely place this was. We spotted the place when we parked the car, went to the hotel, and then straight back to this establishment. What a great selection of drinks they had on offer, great atmosphere with people sitting inside and outside. The staff were ever so friendly. This is a bar I will 100% return to, and also recommend to friends if they are in the area.

This is a great find if you like a good variety of beers. The only reason it isn't a 5 is just through personal preference (I like my sours so would've liked to have seen a couple on draught). I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking to try a bunch of new and different beers though 🙂

Lovely pub/bar 5 minutes walk from Piccadilly Station in the heart of Manchester. There are slightly higher prices than some other bars, but the range of beers, lagers and ciders on offer is fabulous.

Continues to go strong. When I was there two nights ago, I was lucky to get a seat at the bar as it was full to the gunwales. I had a a tasty local IPA followed by a DIPA which was deliciously chewy. Their mexican imperial stout had such a kick of chilli that I was glad to have had only a taster !

Visited for a couple of pints early evening on a weekday. Great service from the chaps behind the bar. Huge selection of beers. Definitely worth a visit.

When I went last week, they had a superb imperial stout with a strong, rich flavour, well-balanced though strong at 11% - so only a third is needed. Of course, they also had several other beers including lagers so something for everyone !

Great little pub, good choice of beers. Just as a town pub should be. Didn't eat, but they sell a range of pies to go with your beer, so frankly, I could see no reason to ever leave. Sadly, my drinking partner could. So I'll have to come back....

Lots of taps and canned and bottled beers. There's seating outside, front and back. Free WiFi. Not cheap at 2 Pounds for a half pint. I saw one for 6 pounds for a half.

Very good pub in a former shop about 10 minutes walk from Manchester Piccadilly Station. Seven cask beers on handpump when I last visited including two oatmeal stouts. Plenty of outdoor seating in the beer garden to the rear, most of it covered. The bar is on the ground floor and there is an upstairs room. The toilets are on the second floor but there is an accessible toilet on the ground floor.
