Edit - since the shopping centre closed and the Nero opened over the road this place has improved so much. I always thought a lack of staff was behind the slow service and chaotic atmosphere, and now it's quieter and less rushed the café is so much nicer and service is so much better. It's clean, well stocked, the staff are lovely, the coffee is a great price compared to Nero, the food is better, and the atmosphere is calm and friendly. Lots of the customers and staff know each other, making it a friendly place to be. The floor to ceiling glass walls are lovely to sit at and take in the outside world.

I'm guessing this Costa hasn't got long left as the rest of Chorlton Shopping Centre has now closed, I wonder if it will be relocating elsewhere in Chorlton. It still felt like a typical Costa standard was being maintained, my drink was well made, a bit of a spillage from being slightly over full (not complaining, I'd rather that than it be under filled), I'm guessing the regularity of Costa running out of kitkat bunnies means they're more popular than expected, I'm part to blame as this was my tenth kitkat hot chocolate in a month, it's that good.

Staff are rude and have no idea how to make coffee. Glad Nero has opened.

Costa makes a decent cup of coffee and it's not super busy so a good place to meet friends or get some work done

This Costa provides stable steady regular great service; food is always good, coffee is always amazing. My only issue is some of the staff members REALLY seem like they absolutely don't want to be there and their service is always a bit... Off. I always feel like I am just annoying them by just asking for a coffee. It is only about two staff members and always the same ones, and their service is consistently unsatisfactory.

Coffee really hit the spot this morning, staff always friendly and helpful.

They have some vegan options, soya latte toast and jam.

I have been few times but always one lady is there with “lisa “she is ignoring me and the customers. She is very careless and every time I have to wait more than ten minutes to order, even in quite time she entertains herself with her friends and I am still waiting to order. She is very rude.

Popped into Costa Coffee to collect my complimentary birthday cake on 11th June 2023. Whilst there I bought an iced caramel latte which was lovely. It was refreshing, not too sweet and much needed because it was a sunny hot day. Highly recommended!

I think this shop has recently changed hands. Coffee is okay, but I find it a bit hit and miss.

Some tables could have done with a wipe as sticky/had crumbs on. Staff seem polite enough but didn't listen to the order very well.

Great place to meet and socialise well worth a visit.

This is a small Costa in Corlton-cum-Hardy. Plenty of cosy seats and warm atmosphere with some outdoor seating. The coffee is usual Costa standard with a good dairy free milk decaf option. Can be busy and outside Covid times a little noisy from children coming with families.

Disengaged and rude staff, not paying attention to customer's order requests. Regret spending money here.

They had customers arranging the display packages. One customer was sprawled over the display cabinet. I know they are regulars but for me it was off putting. No matter how well you know the staff or even if you are off duty staff there are other patrons

Cant beat a cup of Costa, latte is my favourite. Nice to have a local outlet near where I live, I much prefer it being made by a barista rather that out of a machine.

Staff are incredibly considerate, very friendly to my toddlers. Offered to carry my tray to my table. Which will always be a big deal to me.

How some people like this place is beyond me! Open and close when they want, rude staff, dirty tables, slow service, expensive, surely Costa HQ can see this place has failed! It needs closing and a proper local coffee shop is needed urgently

AWFUL PLACE! Rude member of staff taking in chairs and tables nearly 2 hours before closing! Ordered a HOT CHOCOLATE its was warm and raw powder on the bottom! Never again! Costa is never consistent! Thank god we have starbucks!!

Cold drinks (strawberry iced infusion) were made with hot water without ice. Tasted like very weak cordial. Went back to complain and they just put ice in it.

would probably say that this place is a must for coffee lovers! The service was good and the variety of coffee served in the ambience was really pleasant. If you like coffee shops, this is a must-visit! Will be a classic again!

Called in here today & had a much needed latte coffee & something to eat. Service was good. Wasn't too busy so was served fairly quickly. Found a nice table by the window Just so nice to sit & enjoy my latte coffee!

Had my usual soya flat white, which excellent as usual, plus a piece of banana loaf, which was only average. Friendly staff.

Great as always. Love watching the world go by and then head home on a lovely walk back by Longford park.

This place was never the best but the service from the woman with the ginger hair was always brilliant. The other staff in here though are atrocious. I have never come across more unprofessional people. They seem to delight when the coffee machine breaks and they tell you no coffee at the door as soon as you walk in. If you say you are taking out you will inevitably have to ask again as they'll get this wrong. You feel like a burden to them. The woman I mention above is the only good thing about this place. With staff not on shift making porridge behind the counter whilst there is a queue of people waiting I think I'll get my coffee elsewhere. Costa, train your staff. If they're overworked, underpaid or understaffed then sort it out. But this is a shocking representation of the chain.

Extremely happy when I see online Costa is open 7am on cold morrning, after driving to get some warm coffee actually its not open. Starting hour is 8

Not the most kind staff, didn't ask what kind of milk I wanted, put the stirrer on the probably dirty counter and screamed at me when I didn't know where to pay, I've only just started going to cafes and this was not a pleasant experience. I wasn't trying to steal the coffee??? Tell me politely where to pay?? I'm not even sure what coffee I ended up with. Very rude.

Track and Trace when sitting outside is unacceptable as many people walk past without Masks ended up getting coffee to go

Great. I now use a mobility scooter, and they allowed me inside to order my coffee while on it, and gave me any help I needed. Really nice girls and young man. Highly recommend them.

Extremely rude and abrupt approach. I feel really embarrassed after the way I was spoken to in front of other guests. Will not be returning.

It's Costa. Same as everywhere. Coffee that is dependably brown coloured. An independent coffee shop at this location would be miles better.

Delicious drinks, a little pricey

Nice service, just hit and miss with the Mochas 2 out of 5 times will miss something from the drink but I'm not going to take it back for a new one since the wrong one would just get poured away and wasted.

Shocking coffee as always from the coffee shop you only go to when there is nowhere else....

Go in Costa in chorlton quite a lot so today went in with my father who's in a wheelchair to be told its only take away but there was a man sat there without a drink on his laptop

Big fat guy behind the counter was very rude to me, he said they don't offer the 50% off for the take away service, I said how come, subway do, he said its not true, so I went to subway and got my lunch for half price.

In app ordering was not working. The queue was huge in an unpleasantly hot store and I'm reluctant to confess I was served the worst tasting version of the coffee I drink 10 times per week from different Costa stores.

Toilet was absolutely disgusting.
