The best restaurants in North West

Had better in all honesty it was alright I mean she’s an alright lady but could up her game a bit, always a bit repetitive.

Food was good and would of been a 5star but let down with missing things from order gravy was missing asked for it separate but didn't come and left of the stuffing I asked for extra ordered Sunday 7th

Lovely spot with very friendly and attentive staff. Ordered afternoon tea for our dog which was a great touch. Only marking down as I was disappointed that my soup wasn't homemade. If I'd known I would have ordered something different.

If your after a lovely cuppa great food & a comfy place to eat & drink then please go to coffee house they are lovely people who run the shop always so welcoming nothing is ever to much trouble Katie, liz Kane lobby Alex & Emma & Laura will always look after you

I have only just started going to Bury Market now my partner and I are retired. We have often walked passed this cafe and admired how quintessentially English it looked, but always busy (which is a good thing🤗) today, with my partner, daughter, son and his wife the cafe had room for us. The staff are so warm and friendly, the menu covered every ones taste, the coffees are excellent, the food just perfect, and the prices are very reasonable. The decor is delightful with lots of quaint tea pots flowers and nicely worded plaques. The cleanliness is excellent. I look forward to my next visit as I know I won't be disappointed. Terrible not reliable for Sunday dinners ,iff they can be bothered to do them.better going to a astablish pub restaurant 100%

Excellent location for Chester city centre, but tired with the deco and beds not to comfy but ok for a couple of nights, all in all a good stay, would definitely recommend.

My twin brother and I were pub hopping around this part of the city when we decided to drop into this Greggs outlet, been here before ,always had a positive experience here and so it proved on our latest visit. A good looking Greggs outlet, interior is light and airy, glass fronted serving counters showcase the goodies on offer, typical Greggs decor and furnishings and staff here are really pleasant. We got a cheese & onion pasty ,these are absolutely delicious, so tasty, filling, just what we needed to set us up for a few hours. We really enjoyed our visit here ,its easy to locate along Lord Street and well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Situated in Lightoaks Park, this cafe is open at weekends and serves a range of Barista Coffees, Teas and Hot chocolates. Picnic benches are located outside the cafe for anyone wanting to bring there own food. It is a ideal place for family and friends to visit while incorporating a stroll in the park including visiting the animal sculptures and the duck pond.

I am pleased to say that after such a long wait (due to Covid) indoor eating is now available at this excellent eatery. Food, service and location are all excellent and I could not recommend it highly enough Give it a go, you won’t be disappointed 😀

My daughter and I visited for lunch. What a find! The whole place was clean, the food was exceptional, the staff were incredibly welcoming and polite. The prices were amazing 👏. If you are going to Ava Rose to collect your wedding gown, then onto sew in love for your alterations, then this location is perfect. If you are planning a trip to Boundary Mill, again, it's perfectly located. Well done Dowdies for a fantastic lunch. We will definitely be back!

We visited here while staying locally and loved the friendly atmosphere. Yes covid has had an impact as it has everywhere what covid can't affect is the welcome and friendly atmosphere which makes it worth a visit definitely we did a couple of times and would travel to go back

Not sure what happened to Once Was Lost! We went last year (summer 2022) with friends and had really great and tasty tacos outside. The atmosphere was busy and fun, staff were attentive. However, visiting in February 2023 and it was a completely different feel. Staff did not greet us when we entered or give us any clue they knew we were there. We asked if they had a table and they disappeared to prep a table. After sitting down we were given a menu and apparently they only do pizzas now? Not sure why they’ve had a menu revamp as the tacos were fantastic and unique. Ordered drinks but the coke tasted more of the soda mixer. We ordered 2 garlic breads which came out at different times and when pizzas came they had got the toppings wrong on 2 pizzas. We made do as we were in a rush. The pizzas were tasty and straight from the oven. They did have a very charred/burned taste and also came out at different times to one another. Staff felt inexperienced. Simple customer service things were not done but they were not rude. Staff were friendly. Pricing seemed fair.

What a cracking little bar this is. We went to watch a music event , Ashley Sherlock & Jackson Ward. A small place but the atmosphere makes up for it. A really friendly place with reasonably priced drinks.
