Superb coffee with excellent service from the guys making the coffee for you. It's a lovely setting. Hygiene 5* would highly recommend. BIG TIP!!! You need more tables and chairs, even the little wrought-iron round coffee tables with 2/4 chairs will suffice, you have the space. We would not have gone in if we could not get anywhere to sit plus we don't like sharing tables with strangers we would feel as though we are invading their space.

Went in the day with a friend and had fish & chips which was fabulous. Ordered Indian takeaway for 2. Good price. However had vegetable rogan josh which is supposed to be mild (marked as one chilli). It arrived 1/2 hr late and give them there due they did call me. The food was way too hot and spicy to eat. Today I added a tin of coconut milk and its still to hot to eat. So not impressed at all. I have eaten rogan josh for years and that was nothing like it. The rest of the food was ok but nothing to write home about. Please get it right

This is an absolute gem of a place. So well run by Phil and Karen. So friendly and knowledgable, Such a comfortable place to spend a few hours sampling many craft ales

Had better in all honesty it was alright I mean she’s an alright lady but could up her game a bit, always a bit repetitive.

Lovely spot with very friendly and attentive staff. Ordered afternoon tea for our dog which was a great touch. Only marking down as I was disappointed that my soup wasn't homemade. If I'd known I would have ordered something different.

Terrible not reliable for Sunday dinners ,iff they can be bothered to do them.better going to a astablish pub restaurant 100%

Food was good and would of been a 5star but let down with missing things from order gravy was missing asked for it separate but didn't come and left of the stuffing I asked for extra ordered Sunday 7th

I have only just started going to Bury Market now my partner and I are retired. We have often walked passed this cafe and admired how quintessentially English it looked, but always busy (which is a good thing🤗) today, with my partner, daughter, son and his wife the cafe had room for us. The staff are so warm and friendly, the menu covered every ones taste, the coffees are excellent, the food just perfect, and the prices are very reasonable. The decor is delightful with lots of quaint tea pots flowers and nicely worded plaques. The cleanliness is excellent. I look forward to my next visit as I know I won't be disappointed. Always go to this chippy before the matches at Anfield. Staff are great and quick at serving you. Food is great, especially the sausage, chips and curry or the fish and chips. Reasonably priced as well.

Excellent location for Chester city centre, but tired with the deco and beds not to comfy but ok for a couple of nights, all in all a good stay, would definitely recommend.

I have been visiting Mike's Butty Bar since 2017 and I have not once had a bad experience. The food is always made to perfection and I am always greeted with a smile when entering the shop. I am yet to find a place that does a better bacon and egg on toast than here!

Quick lunch with nice parsnip soup, sandwiches with pastrami and home made chutney, sandwich with chicken (not Pulled as in the menu and without mango salsa). The lady serving is was great, interested, helpfull and ever so sweet for our girls! We like the place!

The best Chinese, food was so clean tasting. Will be back soon and will be recommending to all friends and family. Amazing 10/10
