Went for a family meal last night. We have been before and its been good (not great) however last night was awful. We ordered 3 steaks that were dry and chewed like old shoe leather, accompanied with cold fries and cold onion rings. When we settled our bill no one was even bothered to ask "how was our meal".

Best Sunday lunch around! Highly recommended.

Table booked for a Saturday evening 7 30.Restaurant very busy service excellent. Poppadoms to start followed by a mixed tandoori grill lamb tikka patia garlic rice and naan.£66 in total for the food 4 large beers and a double brandy.Complementary shots to finish. If there is a better Indian restaurant I don't know where it is ,absolutely outstanding.

Buena comida y bebidas, sin embargo, toda la experiencia fue un poco fuera debido a que el restaurante era muy frío. Era incómodo y las puertas del jardín se abrían y cerraban constantemente debido a una fiesta en la yurta exterior. Estaba báltico por dentro y estábamos muy contentos de mudarnos al pub Philharmonic para calentar.

Came for Valentine's day meal .. lovely food, not that filling though. But the flavours were really nice

We stopped for Sunday lunch here on the way to Bowness. It was fantastic. A really lovely, old, pub. Lots of original features and amazingly good food. The staff were very stretched but kind and attentive still. Loved it.

Huge menu, food is tasty and classic Chinese takeaway vibes. There was a slight delay on pick up but they were lovely and gave me some extra spring rolls to compensate which I appreciated. I will be back. Thank you
