Borolo in Chorley

It was cold in the room, lasagna was tepid and no meat to be found…just sauce and pasta. Pizzas average. Plus a massive service charge on bill. Don’t mind paying if warm, well fed and well looked after but won’t be going there in the future.

Been here a number of times now after discovering it last year, and it has now become my favourite Italian restaurant. Delicious food, great atmosphere, and all the staff (especially the manager) are so welcoming and friendly. They even catered for around 30 of us on one occasion and the service was still excellent.

Thank you Barolo for an amazing meal last night. 25 of us came to celebrate my daughters 21st birthday, we had a brilliant time! Everyone commented on how delicious the food was. It all came out quickly and every dish was perfect, even with 25 of us. The staff were attentive and friendly and just lovely. It was a perfect evening. It’s the 2nd time we’ve been, I’d highly recommend it. Thanks again

Out with friends, excellent service, food was also very good, I had a calzone pizza, to say it was one of the best I’ve ever had would be an understatement, reason being the dough was just spot on. Value for money very good. Would I return = yes.

We used to go when it was Algheros years ago but had some bad experiences so this is the first time we’d been since being taken over. We went with friends and all ordered different dishes so had quite a variety. All the food was exceptional. The interior changes are nice, it looks fresh but inviting and it had a really good atmosphere. Service was great, the guy knew what we were drinking after our first order. We didn’t feel rushed and equally it didn’t take ages for the food to come out. The quality of the ingredients is top notch. With top quality ingredients, they also didn’t skimp on the dishes. My wife ordered a seafood pasta and it was full of seafood. You could taste how fresh it was too. The Diavola chicken was spicy but really tasty. It didn’t rely on spice to make the dish. Food, staff and atmosphere were great and we can’t wait to go back. Make this place your next visit and you won’t regret it

Fabulous restaurant, food amazing and staff so friendly and helpful. As they have an open kitchen I noticed the Chef was checking I enjoyed his dish, his pride was obvious when I complimented his food. Been lots of times this year and I am never disappointed.

Excellent food and fantastic friendly staff who helped with recommendations on both food and wine. First time we had tried since change of ownership and as the previous people had been very good we weren’t sure what to expect, but we will be back👍

Was staying locally and was struggling to find a restaurant for dinner. We ended up here and are so glad things turned out the way they did. The service and food were amazing. I am dairy intolerant and the chefs made sure my needs were catered to without taking away any of the flavours from the food. They even found me a desert that was dairy free. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent value for money.
