Girasole in Chorley

Staff were very polite and friendly. Homemade chips, really were homemade and tasty. Pizzas were very good value for money and I would recommend Girasole. Good to support local trader too.

Don’t bother. Certainly don’t bother calling on the phone. Three times now in separate weeks at separate times the phone gets picked up and they simply put it down without even speaking. Very rude and ignorant and not a way to run a business as some day you may not be as popular and busy, or at least that’s what I am assuming! Manners cost nothing. You can’t order via online so other driving there you have to call the shop, so as this is the biggest part of your only contact with orders and the public then get your ship in order and have some manners. Your pizzas are not that special. Terrible service.

Used to come to this place all the time and absolutely love the food recently. The standard has not been the same. My lasagna has been cold when I received it. Pizzas have been burnt round the edges or not completed with what I’ve asked for. It’s a shame really, because I think it’s the young people that let Girasole down

Ordered a takeaway = 2 rump stakes one with Diane sauce the other with peppercorn sauce and chips. They arrived dead on time and delivered by a nice friendly face, the food was piping hot, fresh and cooked to perfection absolutely delicious. Will definitely be ordering from Girasoles again.

Best take away around, the steak and chips is amazing. So is the lasagne and the pizzas. Would love to try the rest of the menu but always get drawn to the steak with Diane sauce and the amazing chips. Staff all amazing all captained by the owner Mr Degrassi who's a really top guy and chef. Always have to visit when I'm at my mum's, you must try this place!

Offers genuinely authentic tasting pizza and pasta as well as other Italian dishes. Quite unique in terms of pizza takeaways as they don’t do stodgy frozen dough slabs but thin and authentic Italian style pizza with proper sauces and a clear appreciation for what they are doing. Looks to be a family run business which is probably why everyone involved seems to care about what they are doing. Reasonably priced, fresh and very tasty food!

Amazing!!!! So so delicious! Me and boyfriend got a takeaway this evening from seeing so many posts in a recommendation take away group! So happy we did because the customer service, even over the phone was just the best! So friendly! Definitely going back!

Can highly recommend girasole - the pasta is delicious and cooked fresh and the pizzas are excellent - fresh dough and toppings and cooked the way we like them. They have new staff starting who can make mistakes but they are rectified straight away and patience is a virtue !! Best Italian around in Chorley and well worth the wait on their busiest nights. They are not the cheapest but you pay for what you get and we prefer quality food ! My other half was counting the days they came back off their holidays lol

Amazing pizza, loaded with toppings, very tasty and fresh and reasonably priced. It was the first time I've been but definitely won't be the last. I'll be going there again very soon.

Fantastic food,brilliant service. Just one complaint,its closed on a Monday and Tuesday, I guess they need a couple of days off though after a hectic weekend. 🍕

I visit here often, when in visiting my mother. The pizzas are the best around, the lasagne is to die for. Last night we ordered the steak and chips mine was with a tomato, capers and olives sauce which was incredible and my mother had the Diane sauce which was probably the best she'd had and I have to say she was right. The chips accompanying where proper chunky homemade chips ! You have to try this place it's by far the best takeaway in Chorley area.

If your looking for authentic really good Italian food look no further. 10/10

I am currently waiting for them to answer the phone. Ringing out for over 2 minutes. Not good at all.

We have just moved in around the corner so needed a takeaway as hadn’t unpacked! I can honestly say every meal we had ordered was delicious.. the garlic bread and pizza base are gorgeous and I had children in a blue cheese sauce which I will have again in a heartbeat!! Will be back!!

Excellent, fresh food. Always delicious and the best BBQ ribs to be had anywhere. Pizzas are always fresh and the service is great.

We’ve been to Girasole loads of times, and never been disappointed. They make the best pizzas in the area by far. Try the ribs in BBQ sauce, they’re amazing.

would give this Italian takeaway five out of five on the majority of visits, however pizza toppings occasionally can be a bit sloppy (seems to be midweek). Pasta is always cooked fine and chicken dishes are always really tasty with varying sauces we have tried. rosemary garlic bread is to die for.

Went here on weds eve was visiting my mother. Had my two boys with me they had a carbonara between them and we shared a large pizza with grandma, I had a lasagne. The food is great and now my sons are big fans. It's good value for the portions you get and the quality of the ingredients, best pizza in the area!

Great take away. If you like spicy try penne mafiosa and americana pizza.

I saw this takeaway recommended on a local FB page and gave it a try last night with my OH. It was the best takeaway pizza we've had for a long time, so impressive! The base was thin to medium thick - not the ultra thin of some Italian restaurant and not the thick crust of many takeaways - in my view a perfect thickness. It was fresh and had the chewiness and superb taste of a really good dough. The toppings were so beautifully fresh and there was a lot of choice, including extra cheeses - I had a three cheese pizza and added some extras to make my favourite. If you remember Verdes about 10 years ago when the pizzas were spot on, then you can recreate that taste experience again here. Highly recommended and we will be back very regularly, 5 stars! Oh and great friendly service as well ;0)

Been here a few times in the past for pizza and garlic bread which I thought were good but... recently ordered the polla diane some Italian roast potatoes and stuffed mushrooms. Absolutely superb, I nearly licked my plate clean it was so tasty. Highly recommended. Restaurant quality in a takeaway

I have visited Girasole in the past for Italian Takeaway that has been fantastic but unfortunately on Saturday 29th July he was off, so no Italian takeaway. I don't particularly like pizza anyway but I thought I'd give it a go as that's all that was on offer. Sorry but it was laden in fat, just like the disgusting garlic bread. This was such a disappointment after my previous takeaways from there. My advice would be, don't open without the head chef in future.

I like to visit here when I'm over to see my mum. The food is excellent wether it's the proper Italian style thin pizzas or the various pasta dishes they do you won't be disappointed excellent staff and the owner has proper Italian roots. My favourite take away in this area. Also very good chippy next door.

I am a self confessed Pizza fanatic and regularly love a pizza takeout!

We get Italian takeaway from here all the time and wouldn't go anywhere else! The best pizza place in Chorley and some of the best Italian food I've ever had! A good selection with freshly made and stretched dough, fresh and tasty ingredients and great quick service, not to mention very good value for money. I would highly recommend!

I was running a Scout camp and the young people required feeding as the cold evening drew in. The chip shops were all closed and we didn't have transport so a delivery service was our only option. Girasole accepted our telephone order even though the delivery address was a camp, in a wood, in a field with no landline telephone or post code. The selection of pizzas were delivered at exactly the time promised, they were piping hot, extremely tasty and great value for money. The Scouts ate well and slept well thanks to Girasole.

I have tried pretty much every pizza place in Chorley including small chains such as: Godfather's, Pizza House, Mama Mia's, Mario's and Goodboys - as well as the big chains such as Domino's. Without a doubt Girasole is the best pizza I have had the pleasure to discover and it's only a stones throw away located in Euxton adjacent to Skippers chippy! Girasole was recommended to me by a friend and it's safe to say his recommendation was thoroughly appreciated - cheers Josh! Keep doing what you're doing Girasole, your pizzas are bloody brilliant!
