Best bar in Bury by a mile...fantastic beers, great staff and always a friendly welcome. Overall atmosphere is brilliant with great music in the background.

Half filled cups that were expensive. No bin handy at the sitting area. Went as train was delayed, but I will just wait at the platform next time.

Such an incredible place to enjoy the pier and views of Southport from the sea .... Great staff and great owners. Make sure you check before you travel there as the local council are messing them about at the moment with pier repairs. Definitely worth a visit when they are finally allowed to open. 10/10

I had the small full English breakfast, my fella the all day breakfast and my friend had a large bacon barm (it was very large). It was delicious and would go back again when in the area.

A disgrace of a hotel. We booked our room at a decent price for the liverpool parade. Upon arrival we were told our hotel room was cancelled by booking.com. It was not. The hotel had purposely cancelled our booking to receive a higher fee for the room. It's a disgrace and more needs to be done to stop this from happening.

Have visited a few times now and I can’t fault it at all. Whether it’s winter sitting inside with the fire, or summer sitting outside in the sun it’s always top notch. The food is classic food pub but much much better than most - generous portions and high quality. Roast dinners could do with being a little bigger but that’s just what I’m used too. Would recommend.

Dropped in here Easter weekend evening for drinks ….partner was really ill after drinking Guinness here. Be. Cautious drinking here as don’t feel the beers and pipes etc are looked after properly. He was really ill from the Guiness here.

I have been to this pub 3 times this year, the last time was by far the worst. The Scottish bar lady is so rude and put her fingers up at us as she walked past. So unprofessional, so rude, so bad for business. I love this pub but I feel that someone need to have a word!

We booked a party for my little girls 5th birthday - would highly recommend. Very easy to book - they called me a couple of days prior to the party to talk about finer details. Party host on the day was amazing and my daughter had the best party - Got great feedback from her friend’s parents too that all the children had the best time so thank you!

Bleak. Lots of unmanned tills & gaps on shelves. To say the least, the café is in need of a rethink.

Went in to watch the horse racing at Cheltenham. But the volume on all the telly's wernt on. I asked the barmaid could she hire it up.but she was to busy giving some fella a wank and eating spaghetti Bolognese

At first forgotten item which had to pay again then when I left realised have wrong order

Ordered 2 4 1 on a Tuesday ! 1 pizza turned up, COLD ! Phoned the shop and got passed from pillar to post. Ended up speaking to the so called "manager" who said we'll send you another out...... after an hour of waiting... i re phoned the shop. The "manager" then says i didn't click on the right button !!!! Hello, knobheads, its 2 4 1 on a Tuesday...... DONT ORDER FROM HERE

Ordered today at half 3, order came at 5. Cookie dough was cold and had spilt everywhere. The worst cookie dough I’ve eaten, I only had 3 spoon fulls before throwing it away.
