Visited here with my wife and 2 grandchildren aged 3 and 5 during the school holidays and we had a very enjoyable 4 hour visit. Great fun feeding all the animals plus good indoor and outdoor play areas. The place was kept very clean despite the large number of guests and I thought that the staff were all friendly and helpful. A great day out for the family and easy to book online.

We absolutely love Reddish Vale Farm and have visited lots of time, each time seeing improvements and growth! The children love petting, feeding and grooming the animals. The playground is great for all ages, with the bouncy pillow as an added extra. My son enjoyed playing football and the tractor ride to feed the pigs. There are lots of areas to picnic out of the sun which is great. What we love the most are the staff, who work very hard, always chatting and sharing information. The foam party at the end of the day was lots of fun!!! Thank you for a great day out 😊

We’ve been a few times and will be back again in future. The animals are all well looked after and healthy, the staff are all friendly and knowledgable and the farm is always clean and well maintained. There is an indoor play area and the animal barn is mostly covered/sheltered for poor weather days, and the outdoor play area is very large and suits a variety of ages. Everyone is so kind and attentive when interacting with our our kids (age 4&6) and the animals seem calm and “well behaved” around children, expect for cheeky Pygmy goats getting their heads in the carrot buckets!

Riding school is brilliant, Masie is a credit to the school she’s amazing with all the kids and the horses within 3 lessons they’re quite confident already! The farms really good too I’ve not been for years and the updated farm now is actually better than I could have ever imagined! Bit of a waiting list but brilliant communication, easy to book you can pay for sessions a week in advance or you can pay a few weeks, it is payment when they phone to say your at the top of the list and I think that’s so much easier. If you want to go the following week you just book at the end of your lesson. Cafe is a decent price too. The kids want birthday parties there so they must enjoy it to want to keep going. My eldest has anxiety around new people and she’s thriving my youngest is too and he’s confident and outgoing so they really do well with all kids! All the leaders are so friendly and confidence boosting the kids all the time, they don’t criticise they just show your child how to do it as many times as it takes🩷

A really great place for kids. Buckets of carrots for sale for £1.50 each which can be fed to the sheep, goats, alpacas, cows, donkeys and shire horse. There is small animal handling where the staff supervise the little ones with rabbits, Guinea pigs and they call also stroke (not hold) a new-born chick. There was also pony grooming which kids can do in groups of 4, and there can be up to two ponies at a time. Away from the animals there’s a huge play area, with dedicated play spaces for older kids and also a more toddler friendly play area. There is a huge sandpit inside a barn and there are two air pillows and a kind of land train pulled by a quad bike. There is also a soft play area, with a junior section (3 years+) and a toddler play area (0-3 years), there is also a role play village with a vet, cafe, shop and garage as well as some small pedal cars. Would definitely recommend this to anyone with young children.

We recently had a large kids party here and it couldn’t have been better. The party coordinators were amazing, particularly Chloe and with such a big group (23). First the kids get to hold and pet small animals. Then they were provided with carrots to feed the larger animals. The birthday boy and his cousins were also allowed to groom the ponies. The kids were then treated to a tractor ride and free time to play in the play area before lunch and birthday cake. Lunch was well organised and all the many dietary requirements were managed perfectly! Parents could either join the children or had the option to wait in the tea rooms with a brew. The party price includes entry for 1 child and 1 adult. We have always loved Reddish Vale Farm but now we love it even more. A wonderful party at a wonderful venue.

For the price we paid for the Christmas event was pretty poor, we had to wait to go through to the Elves work shop, in there we built a stuffed animal which took all of 10 mins, we had to queue to get out of a door into a yard with houses made up for Christmas and a post office where you were given a small bag of sweets. We then went to the sorting office where they talked about how letters get to Santa and got the kids to separate some letters. We then was ushered into mother Christmas kitchen where the kids dressed up and ate a gingerbread man and a story was read to us. We then went to the animal yard with goats and llamas and a big sleigh where you queued up to have a picture taken. We then sperated and we went in to see Santa, he came down a chimney which was great for the kids and pictures taken. We then walked through a room and was charged £18 for 2 pictures and out of a gate and it was done. It needs a lot more my 9 yr old grandson was bored and had to struggle through parents to get to the front. Over priced for me but we have tried it but I wouldn't recommend it.

2 adults and 2 children visited North Pole experience on 23/12/23 @ 12.15. One of our children was 16 months old and the other 6 years old and the the fact you couldn’t take in prams made it very difficult. 😞 The reason no prams allowed was obvious going round as there were far too many people in the group and little ones found it very overwhelming. Giving out hot drinks whilst decorating the gingerbread man was also dangerous and not an easy task with too many people in one place. Whilst the experience was ok just felt very unhappy to pay a lot of money to have unhappy children not able to enjoy themselves. Definitely wouldn’t book again for this experience 🥲🥲🥲

Have been coming to RVF for several years and overall had lovely experiences. This review is specifically regarding our recent visit, for the Farmer Christmas Experience. We as a family have taken our daughter to this for the last few years and always found it well planned and enjoyable. This can not be said for this year sadly. After being told to arrive 15 mins early, which we did, we were horrified to be greeted by a terrifying looking "Grinch" in a costume and mask that belongs in a horror movie. My child waa terrified, as were many other children we saw. We were then left standing in the 'holding area' for 45 mins (15 mins after our booked start time) which was incredibly cramped, and left a lot of children (and adults) bored and restless. Not a great start. After the first part of the experience, making toys and elf magic show, which was nice, we were then pretty much left to it. Previously there have been guides, to show us through to the next bits, but a lot of people were just kind of stood aroumd, bewildered, wondering what we were supposed to do next. Thankfully, after previous visits, we knew where to go, so others followed us. The Mrs Claus kitchen was terrible. Every other year has been so authentic, with the sweetest lady Claus. This was so poorly organised, and 'Mrs Claus' was rude, dismissive and constantly rushed and shushed everyone. She shouted that there was only 5 minutes for the children to decorate their gingerbread and caused anxiety (had we not been let in 15 mins late, I doubt this would have happened) she then, very badly, rushed through storytime, rushing questions to the children yet not giving them time to respond, leaving them bewildeeed and flustered. Cried OH MY GOD more times than I could count, then pushed us out of the door. The next little show was cute, but apathetic 'elves' wandering around with their River Island handbags and vapes did take the shine off it somewhat. Reaching the area with the sleigh & singing reindeers was aa badly organised as most of it, with me having to take the initiative to gather my family for photos. Only then did the elf, who had been stood at the other side begin to make an effort. The absolute worst part was the actual Santa meet though. Again, in previous years, there has been a truly authentic Santa and has been lovely. This year, I don't know where they found this guy, but he was just awful! Terribly cheap tacky costume and beard, which he constantly tugged at, revealing his actual face and completely ruining any magic the children may have felt. He didn't know what to say, and just kept referring to his elves, before rushing us through a picture and out the door. The picture was also rubbush, the flash completely whiting out my child, and they wanted £18 for it! Sadly we will not be returning next year, and will not be recommending to friends any more. I wish I could get a refund to at least attempt to make up for this waste of money.

Lovely magical experience for everyone especially the little ones. I think it’s well worth the money, they get to make their own soft toy to take home, sweets from the shop, decorate a gingerbread man and a present from Santa. I took my 3 year old Granddaughter who was a bit overwhelmed at times and a little reluctant to join in at first but the kindness and patience of all Santa’s helpers meant she was very brave and got to see him in the end and get her present so I would like to say a big thank you to all of them for that.

If I could give this place 6 stars I would. We visit regularly and love the place, but booked farmer Christmas for all the family. I dislocated my knee the day before so couldn't attend with the rest of my family. Was really pleasantly surprised when reddish vale rearranged the tickets for me and my son. I felt like the worst mum in the world and the worst Christmas ever but thanks to reddish vale farm my son's first Christmas has been made, he finally got to meet Santa (and the Grinch who he wanted to go home with) the elves were brilliant, and all the staff were absolutely fantastic in general, and went above and beyond for the children and the adults. I was offered chairs throughout by the staff as they could clearly see me on crutches, and really put my mind at ease as I was so anxious about going outside for the first time in weeks. I cannot recommend this place enough, well worth the money and more. It was just amazing and I really will never be able to say enough thanks. It was truly magical

Only negative I have is Mrs Clause was not as good as the previous years , she came across as too young and very impatient with the children (children repeatedly told to shhhhhhh and we only have 5 minutes ) this was the only let down of the full experience. Reddish Vale at Christmas was highly recommended to us but unfortunately we left a little disappointed. The range of activities were great and the setting was brilliant however there were far too many people there at the same time and it felt like you were having to strain to see anything through the crowd. The phrase ‘herding cattle’ came to mind. Also when we got to the ‘pinnacle’ of the experience - meeting Santa, we were left disappointed again. Santa unfortunately didn’t know what to say and did not communicate with the children very well. My children were confused and looked to us for help to answer his ‘questions.’ He stumbled his words and had to rely on the ‘elves’ for support. Overall, the experience left a lot to be desired. Sadly, we won’t be booking again.

It was a lovley and magical experience from start to finish all the staff were really friendly and helpful, the only thing I would say is it dose get quite busy inside and your in smaller spaces with lots of things going on at the same time which was a struggle for my son who has autism maybe doing a smaller group for children with additional needs might be a good idea next year and actually releasing those tickets at the same time as the main tickets because I'd have gone for the sen tickets but they were not available untill later on and we had booked already but overall it was a really wonderful experience

We did the Christmas experience with my nephew (4) and it really was a lovely day! We paid £45 for a child and £16 for each adult, the adult price seems a bit high but for child you do get a fair bit for the price. It includes sending a letter to santa, stuffing a toy the child can take home, sorting letters and watching a bit of a show/doing a dance, meeting Mrs Clause and decorating gingerbread men, getting sweets from the sweet shop, a picture in the sleigh with anamatronic reindeer, then meeting santa and getting a gift (which was of decent quality surprisingly!). Lots of photos opportunities, they decorated the different rooms lovely and it wasn't too overcrowded or waiting too long. The children get to take home a few different things which makes it more worth the money. The energy from the elves and Mrs Clause was great, I was fairly underwhelmed with the Santa as he wasn't really performing as a character more talking as himself which wasn't that impressive (and my nephew made a comment on compare to a different santa he has seen earlier that week). Overall I feel it's a really worthy experience and highly recommend as a christmas experience for children and nice for adults to share with them.

Great day! Farm set up brilliantly and flowed lovely from section to section. Only feedback are the sweets given in the sweet shop were way too hard for young children and need to be more age appropriate for the kids that go. Staff all amazing as always and overall a thoroughly lovely day 😁

we went to the Christmas experience, I was very disappointed with it, for the price of the tickets I was expecting more, when arriving the children wrote their lists and waited a while to move onto the next section, all the sections felt rushed and timed, we could hear the group behind us and that spoilt it for me, there was one 'elf' that was amazing he welcomed us into father christmas he was the only one who came and spoke to everyone, all the others just dressed up escorting you around, Father christmas was in a group and wasn't very personal at all, he spoke a bit and then it was photos and out, the experienced lasted 2 hours and it was over 100 pound for my family, it was our first and last time there for the Christmas experience, and I wouldn't recommend to anyone I speak to.

Thanks you to the WHOLE staff at Reddish Vale Farm. Our three granddaughters had an amazing time, which they will never forget. Thank you for making such wonderful memories for not only them, but for us as we watched their reactions. We will be bringing them again to Reddish Vale Farm, as they have done their own research and want to experience Easter and Halloween there too. We would highly recommend visits to experience every child’s dreams and to create those wonderful memories that they will cherish.

We have been in previous years and have been really impressed by the whole set up and fantastic and believable Father Christmas at the end. This year was the same set up which all ran smoothly with lots to do - the elves were so good at keeping everyone entertained too. We were so glad that the groups were smaller for the actual Father Christmas part so it's a huge shame that this was where the experience let itself down. Having experienced a really realistic Father Christmas previously we expected that again this year so we were happy to pay quite a lot of money to get this again this year. Unfortunately, the Father Christmas that we actually got seemed to be nervous, unsure of what to say and quite bothered by his fake beard. My child has come away saying "I don't think that's the real Father Christmas" which is heartbreaking when she is so young. I am now left annoyed for this event tarnishing what is meant to be a magical experience for our children. We will not be booking again in future due to this.

We attended the Christmas event and had a wonderful time. Not cheap at £45 per child but absolutely worth it for what you get and the gift from Santa has been the best so far! We spent a full two hours there and considering the terrible weather left feeling very festive!

We have visited this farm a number of times and each time we visit they added something new to make it even better. This particular time we visited for the farmer Christmas experience and wow it was amazing, from start to finish it was so well thought out and planned, the staff were amazing and the farm was decorated unbelievably well throughout which must have taken some time. The children really enjoyed it and I would definitely recommend and we will be returning next year for this particular event. Thankyou so much and we will see you again soon 😊

Went for the Christmas experience. Absolutely fantastic once again and still enjoyed by my Grandson. I’m hoping he’s still going to want to go next year as I love it just as much as him!

We visisted for the Farmer Christmas experience. Here are my thoughts on this event Positives - first of all, top marks for the staff who were all great with the kids, enthusiastic, interactive etc -The passports they give to each child is really cute and looks nice - You can tell a lot of thought and effort and has gone into the event, each room is interactive -The build your own toy making was a lovely touch, each child get to pick one to make and then take home Negatives - santas grotto - this was really disappointing! I thought each group would get to see Santa on thier own, instead everyone is huddled into one room and you take turns to see santa and have a picture. It lets it down in my opinion. -there was nowhere to buy refreshements. The kiosk was shut when we arrived (first slot) and there was nowhere to buy anything throughout - expensive at just under £100 for an experience under 2 hours

We visited the Santa experience with two 3 year olds and a 7 year old. I also have accessibility needs. We found there are too many in each time slot. For £45 per child they couldn’t get near the front, we couldn’t hear some of the things being said as we were so far back. There was no seating for accessibility needs. No drinks given for the kids. And the Santa didn’t ask each of them what they wanted him to bring. The gift for our older child was play dough and felt a bit young for their age. Not something I would book again sorry, very expensive for the experience we had.
