If you are ok with being told to "keep it down" by the crime of laughing and ok with intimidating bouncers who are aggressive at throwing out time then visit this do called British pub. Don't bother complaining to customer services as they will side with over zealous bouncers and bar you from the pub. We are not kids, nor rough women, just everyday folk aged 46-68, enjoying the life we have left. Avoid if you enjoy life

My favourite pub. There is always a great atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. Drinks and Meals are great value, and excellent quality. Customer service is brilliant too.

The pub was a good, well-kept pub with a massive long room to drink and eat in This pub was well looked after gull of usual weatherspoon users The staff were ace eould have got 5 stars if the atmosphere today was better some locals a bit non friendly let me say!!! The guest ales on today superb Tuesday 10th December 2024 This pub was visited today large locals pub well staffed clean drinking areas well lit pub AT THIS TIME OF YEAR WEATHERSPOONS REAL ALES CONSITS OF THE TURGID CHRISTMAS BREWED ALES 99% OF THEM ARE DARK, EARTHY UNISPURINGLY HORRID TASTING . why can't weatherspoons owner learn from putting them on If notice, most of them can't be sold and end up on the pump until the end of january 2025

Popped in after Christmas shopping. Did my civic duty and sampled one of the Christmas beers and had food from the Christmas menu.

Lovely food, quick service, great customer service.

Go many times. Very long thin spoons. Either sit at the front to people watch or sit at the back, or in the beer garden on a nice day, nearer the toilets. Large booths of varying sizes down the left (as you walk in) - great for groups. Loads of other size tables. Usually order on the app, and always plenty of staff so never a great wait for food or drinks.

A spacious and clean Wetherspoons. Service is relatively fast and the outdoor area is perfect for summer vibes.

Decent enough Spoons, no complaints

We love this place, staff are always pleasant, friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Food is excellent! Everywhere is clean and it's a popular place, always busy and we often see the same clientele. Today with the decorations for Christmas, it had such a warm and comfy, welcoming atmosphere. The Christmas Dinner was yummy and we will be back soon for another, great value! Sincere thanks to all for making our visit a happy one! 😊

Not enough staff behind the bar

You can have a good time here until the bar closes and immediately the doormen hound you to finish your drinks. You have 20mins to finish but these start asking you to drink up within a minute of the bar closing. When you question them, they respond with a threat to bar you.

Called in pre going to Stockport Plaza. We had all day brunch and beers. As you would expect with Wetherspoons the food and beers were good. The pub was very busy and so was the staff. We ordered via the app. We noticed people formed a long queue at the bar! Since COVID everyone wants to form a long queue starting at one point of the bar. Pubs were built with long bars which enabled people/punters to stand against them or to order.

Connor and the blonde young lady who brought our drinks were absolute gems, Connor didn’t stop working the entire time we were there and was absolutely lovely, had amazing customer service !!

the food was good and the service was very much appreciated. All staff was very polite and well mannered . The girl who served me (leah) had a very calming and kind vibe and i loved having her as my server. would definitely recommend

Been here a few times with Casta. A very typical Spoons. It used to be a furniture store. A few outside tables to front and a much larger rear patio. Inside it is a large rectangular room. The beer festival was on so I had a pint of The Gloaming from Scottish Loch Lomond brewery. Very good.

The typical Spoons in the middle of Stockport. Friendly staff, a good selection of beers at ridiculously cheap prices and huge choice of food. Clean and well maintained.

Visited Calvert's Court with friends for a beer and meal. Excellent value for money and will call again sometime in the future!

Tried to go for a meal and got turned away for wearing tracksuits, despite coming from another Wetherspoons in parrs Wood

Just like every other one: decent choice of food (almost too much), and various drinks; both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Also check the menu for some special offers e.g: buy a meal and drink for a discounted price. Breakfast, lunch, evening meal or even just drinks with friends. Parking nearby in the Merseyway/Redrock car park.

It was very busy due to some bike conversation that was going on. It was also very noisy and crowded but still good.

The tall stools outside have sharp corners and tore a hole in my Levi's other than that a great place.

Scampi underdone. Awful chips. A real character pub complete with sticky menus. Very busy

Despite being very busy, we ordered our food via the app and received most of it pretty quickly. Unfortunately, because we made 3 separate orders from 3 accounts for the same table, we had to chase 2 dishes that went missing. Overall, the food was OK, and service fairly prompt at a very busy time.

For value for money you can't beat Calverts Court, in fact the food is as good as many so called gastro pubs charging much much more for their food . The staff are just lovely .

The burgers have shrunk in size and now taste awful. Only a handful of chips given as well. I'll avoid next time.

Great pub and go there most weekends and really enjoy it, staff are normally great. However a week ago I was In there with friends and two of us got spiked. The next day I went back and spoke to a member of staff who promised to review the cctv within the next 3 days and get back to me. After 4 days I’d heard nothing and spoke to another member of staff who took my details again and said they would let me know by the next day. Had to go in for a third again after not hearing back and finally spoke to someone who seemed to take me seriously and actually showed concern which I was very grateful for. He reviewed the footage and got back to me the next morning. Think it’s poor customer service that I had to go in 3 times till I was taken serious and do think it was due to me being male that I wasn’t followed up on faster. Hope this changes in future.

We do enjoy having our Thursday dinner and drinks. Lovely atmosphere and lovely staff.

It is clean, the bottom end is all glazed with an outdoor seating area. The food is what you would expect from a Witherspoon although the curry was very good. The toilets are clean and well lit.

Well run pub. Loads of positives. It is what it says on the tin. Very minor but I , on this occasion was a little bit dissatisfied with the food. Hopefully that's a one of. ( ex landlord & restaurant manager)

Surprised at how big the place was. Food was good Atmosphere was OK but we were outside. Service was great. Toilets were very clean and tidy and Posh- there I have said it,lol Nice place fir an afternoon bite,will go again.

Good selection of beers at a very good price. Food is literal garbage though, which is fair since it costs next to nothing.

Food was okay, you can't complain, the drinks are cheap and actually pretty decent. And the service is great, they clean the tables regularly and the toilets are always clean, even the bouncers have a laugh with you, great atmosphere and a decent pint.

Had a great meal here with my daughter this week. You know what you're getting with Weatherspoons, Great food without the high cost, I had the Chicken Jalfrezi and it was lovely. Service was great too.

Had a lovely time with me and my girlfirend on Firday, Food was largely fantastic and the staff were equally so, especially Dan who helped me deal with an issue with my order was fantastic, helpful and incredibly friendly.

Great prices, steak meals are good value for money

Being disabled and a wheelchair user I need help with certain things and good access to tables, toilets and the bar etc. The accessible toilet was extremely dirty and they didn't do regular checks like they were supposed to. I complained and they did a bad job at cleaning it up and had signed the sheet to say it had been checked every hour when it was nearly empty when I came out. I was there for around 5 hours and nobody checked it as I was seated right next to it. On the other hand the food was great and staff did their best to help me to pour my cocktail as I cannot do it myself. Even with the toilet experience I would still go there again and recommend you go too.

Beer lines dirty, food cold. Even for a cheap meal and drink this was shocking. Most spoons clean their lines once to twice a week but this was shocking, my creamy Guinness had bubbles in the head and was undrinkable. Understand you pay for what you get but this was insulting. Clean your lines please or maybe EHO can come pay you a visit and make you change your filthy lines

Super cheap and great quality drinks, important if you are a real ale fan. Food very basic, sparse, reasonable price but functional at best.

Honestly one of the best spoons ever. The atmosphere is really nice, the food comes quickly, the punters are friendly. Overall it's just a very nice spoons and it's definitely a place I go often. If you're in the area, there are plenty of places to sit. No matter the hour or how busy it is, there's always a place to sit.

Busy and still managed to get a table and was served very quickly. Ordered pizzas and they were very nice however a sharper knife to cut them would have been handy atmosphere was jolly and lots of chatter going on very pleasant environment.

Disgusting service they denied my girlfriend to order drinks because she seemed to “drunk” she has dyspraxia and adhd when she hadn’t drank to much and was perfectly fine they accused her of saying things she never said was absolutely disgusting we got escorted out and everything would not recommend at all

Kicked me out for being “too drunk” (i had 2 drinks) because I can’t stand still yet I have adhd and dyspraxia. They made up that I was rude and called the bar man a “dickhead” when I just asked why he wouldn’t serve me. I never said that. Disgusting.
