While shopping we nipped upstairs to the cafe and ordered s breakfast. There was only a handful of people sat down. We waited quite sometime before the food was delivered. Really disappointed, bacon dry, baked beans lumpy and partially dry, all looked rather sad on the plate. Have had breakfast before and was excellent this was unfortunate and I’m surprised the staff thought it was acceptable.

Every so often I think I will have a Tesco breakfast rather than other other supermarkets and I always leave feeling ripped off. Prices do not reflect the quality or quantity of the food. On the other hand the staff are polite and the decor nice.

First time eating here and I was surprised , it was a nice experience , the food was nice , well priced and good customer service. Only one complaint and that was my cutlery was dirty , but was changed straight away.

I had time to visit the cafe at Tesco Portwood Stockport and l was so glad l did as far as my breakfast was above in quality what you would expect for a supermarket cafe. It was served hot and with care from a lovely member of staff called Bev the facilities and the cafe were clean, tables cleared promptly and were scrupulously clean. I will drop by on another time because you as the the customer were made to feel both welcome and valued. Unlike some other supermarket cafes in the area which are both under staffed and it shows in every respect.

Hash browns a little under cooked.

Good portion sizes and they serve an all day breakfast which is convenient. Been here loads of time for breakfast, coffee & cake

We went yesterday Sept 30th 2023 we had the bacon and scrambled get barm and my daughter had waffle fries and a sausage. All 3 of us got ill didn't have anything to eat before or after and we have food poisoning. My husband being the worse. But to top it off the service was very slow, there was no where to sit as all the tables weren't clean and had the last customers food on there plus all over the floor. This place has seriously gone down hill. WE WON'T BE EATING HERE EVER AGAIN 😡.

Tesco has a lovely bright airy cafe, always friendly and polite. Could do with healthier food options but otherwise a nice cafe to visit whilst shopping

Watched the driver on the tracker go past our house thays only 10 mins away from the shop, drive up to Denton and all the way back down in a big loop, past the shop again then deliver stone cold food. Very disappointed.

Lovely little place that's way quieter than it deserves to be. A hidden gem! Love the all day breakfast and friendly staff, and it was very clean when I went in.

The egg was solid and beans had been there a while. Definitely not served fresh been on the hot plate a while. The egg was swapped but it was service without a smile when i requested a fresher egg.

I love preferring at eat breakfast or lunch from here. The food is always so good and the choice is enough to keep everyone happy. My only sticking point it the chips. You only get 6 or 7 chips so the price should be no more than £1 really

Delivery person was very ignorant yapping dow her fone ignored my polite request to close my gate so dog didn't get out slammed it looked back saw that it had just bounced open and walked off gates closed when you enter close it when you leave

Working from home I got a little hungry, so I ordered a delivered breakfast. Still nice and warm when it arrived. I really enjoyed it. Great service

I WOULD NOT BOTHER AS SOON AS THERES MORE THEN 5 CUSTOMERS THEY CANT HANDLE IT THE TABLES ARE DIRTY THE SOFT CHAIRS THEY NEVER CLEAN IVE HAD TO WIPE MYSELF DISGUSTING THEN AS FOR FOOD CANT COOK ANYTHING ALWAYS OVER COOKED CHIPS ARE DISGUSTING NEVER HAVE ITEMS AVAILABLE WHEN IVE BEEN FOR BREAKFAST SO COME FOR DINNER AND THATS AS BAD

Food is nice. Was not hot though. The price of the chips for what you get though isn't worth it.. either double the portion size or half the cost then it would be OK.

We only ever stop here to enjoy the English breakfast which is always served quickly and perfectly cooked. The staff are always friendly and helpfull and the cafe tables chairs and surroundings are always spotlessly clean.

I ordered food for my child's birthday party. Staff were great and the manager was extremely professional kind and helpful. Each of the 15 children ordered a different meal with different sides and I worried that orders would be mixed..but everything was perfect and each meal came in a lovely box labeled with the child's name which made it so much easier for me. My son had a sweet "happy birthday" message on his box :) and we got an extra big free box of chips! Food was great (quality and quantity ) and it was all ready on time. The cafe is very clean. I'd give them 6 stars if I could.

Every bit of food was cold and inedible. Very disappointing considering it’s normally quite nice. Only ate the brownie in the end

taste wise it was ok, the bacon was lovely. The mushrooms were so soggy that my barmcake was black and wet. Then to top it all they put my hot sandwich on top of my millionaire's shortcake, so the chocolate melted.

Staff were lovley, the lady serving was very polite and friendly when ordering and when I left. Full marks for the staff. Only dropped 2 stars because of the price.

One of the orders was incorrect, some items were cold and there was not much for the money, bacon was too fatty.

Didn't bring any drinks that we ordered, missed most ingredients in my sandwich, took ages and arrived cold. Never ordering here again 😡😡

The food was stone cold, bacon was under cooked and really fatty, the toast wasn’t even toast more like bread!! Hash browns was soggy and tasteless. Absolutely a waste of my hard earned money, never again am I ordering from here!

All of the food was freezing cold and gave us free chocolate which goes out of date today hence why there giving it away for free will never order again!

Food turned up a state, looked like is was thrown about and stood on, dripping out the box, tiny burnt inedible items, wouldn't dare eat it, what a disgrace

Lovely Cafe run by friendly and efficient staff.

Beans were not in usual plastic tub to preserve heat and moisture. Eggs were rubbery. Sausage was hard. Everything was cold. Usually good food.

Went there 3 times last week, after waiting 15 minutes to be served was told food would be half an hour wait, went in this afternoon same again, it's not the staff's fault, there's just not enough, one person taking the order at the till, same person taking the food out and cleaning the tables, the poor staff are worked ragged for minimum wage, had a word with manager on three occasions in the past but nothing is ever done.

Missing sauces and butter for cold toast. Beans/bacon & sausage really dry. Taste and looked like they’d been out for a while and just heated in the microwave (cold by the time I got it). Beans were that dry they were hard. Only nice part was the hash browns. Rest was horrid. Don’t bother ordering.

great staff goood food but there is a family that drink high fat coke and hev potched eggs on brown toast. this really irratating and puts me off because im autistic

i payed £2.20 for a portion of chips that had literally 6 chips in ? and i never got my added black pudding. no sauce and no straw for my drink. pretty much cold when it arrived. i’ll put it down to it being a busy lunch but that doesn’t excuse the portion sizes

Very disappointed, The bacon and sausage were totally dried out and rock hard. Everything was swimming in grease. Definitely not up to their usual standard.

I asked for more fried bread instead of sausage and they did, I’m a happy person today thankyou

Got the blackfriday deal. So called big breakfast with chips and drink for £10. It was basically a child's breakfast. Seriously over priced for what i got absolutely abysmal.

I’ve just waited for 15 minutes to get to the front of the cafe queue. I ordered a tea and a jacket potato and get told it’s another TWENTY MINUTES for food!!!! It’s supposed to be a cafe for goodness sake .

We ordered a smoothy and a milkshake and the milkshake that was supposed to be warm made it a sickly cold and was only chocolate and the smoothy was a sickly mango and was not nice at all it tasted very off

Staff start to serve you then go off & do something else. Waiting nearly 10 mins. In the end l was told they had gone on there break.

No tomatoe chutney, no bacon that I paid for as an extra. Different chips this time that were soggy and literally a handful.

Opted for all day breakfast x 2 as rest of menu unappealing. Also had two pots of tea and two cookies for ~£13 Although restaurant not busy it took about 20 mins for food to arrive by which time the tea had gone cold. Breakfast was however very good with nice tasty sausage and tender bacon. Hash browns were a bit bland and egg was nicely cooked. Overall a tasty and reasonably filling meal. Cookies were a bit soft and tasteless, should get their supplier to checkout those from Lidl.

Breakfast was missing items and just eat “can’t refund them at this time”whatever that means. Dreadful. There’s no way I can contact the cafe either.

The breakfast was shockingly bad .

I was served by a young lady called Sol. I was greeted as I was just coming in whilst she was doing the tables and stopped and was served straight away. There was 4 of us but I was the only that went to till and all our names has been taken as we all had to be signed in because of the Covid rules. The same lady served our food and tea. The service and food were excellent. Very safe environment as the tables were cleared straight away and sanitizer. We will definitely come back again.

Payed for extras on my meal when it arrived none of what i had paid extra for was in my meal and the food was stone cold! Dont bother trying to contact the store as you dont get an answer! Would advise anyone to stay away from this

food was good maybe offer gravy if possible. 1 small tip when sealing a hot drink put the tape on the outside of the lid to hold it on firmly (other businesses do)

Food was nice, and perfectly presented only thing is I would recommend that your state on menu your sausages are Cumberland not normal plain pork sausages. As I ordered sausage meal for young lad and he doesn’t like them so he wouldn’t eat his food

I went with my son for some breakfast. It was a half price day. I had a decent latte and a halumi and avacado roll with tomato relish which was very tasty. My son ordered a sausage sandwich and chips. They brought a bacon sandwich by mistake when they tried to correct the order they brought another bacon sandwich. Eventually this was swapped for the correct sandwich. My son enjoyed his food and cup of tea. Pleasant staff and a clean cafe.

Visited this morning to do our weekly shop and have a coffee in the cafe. Yet again no toilet rolls or soap in the toilets. I am sick of reporting this to the management. It's a hygiene issue. Its disgusting. You'd think Tesco would have a system of cleaning and stocking the toilets regularly.

Handy little cafe at the top of the supermarket escalator. Serves a good selection considering it's size.Great drink choices too.

Came here early this month when I had finished my weekly shop in the late afternoon. It was around 5.30 and didn’t want to go out into the thunderstorm that was happening outside. So decided to go up to the cafe and grab something to eat. I was greeted by two members of Staff Sol David. Both where very polite and full of smiles. The cafe was a little busy. One took my food order and passed me a number. While the other made my hot drink and took my payment for my food and drink. My food arrived within 10 mins and was proper delicious. I had got the tikka, rice and Naan meal and was very hot and would recommend this to anyone if they end up in this cafe. While eating I noticed that both members of staff where busy clearing and wiping down tables as well as serving other customers at the same time. You have two little gems working for you here. Keep up the good work :)

We visit Tesco every Saturday to do our weekly shop and go into the cafe, which is OK, but the toilets adjacent the cafe again had no toilet paper in any of the ladies cubicles of which there are 3, this was 11.30am on a Saturday, obviously not been cleaned either. I am fed up of reporting this.

The cafe is a sad looking place and didn’t give the impression of being that clean. I wanted a sandwich,there were about ten on show,I think they must have been made by a newly employed member of staff who had never been in the kitchen;.They were horrendous.As TEsco sells perfectly acceptable sandwiches in their shop,why they have to present such poor fare to customers beats me. The small number of people in the cafe at lunch time shows that people vote with their feet. I can only assume that Tesco,a good store and well run have franchised the operation.

Popped in for lunch with fairly low expectations but was very pleasantly surprised. Portion size was more than adequate and presentation was excellent. Would definately revisit.

Everything you could expect from a supermarket cafe. Good menu, clean and tidy dining area away from the shopping area, quick service and friendly staff. I had a Eggs Benedict Royale (with smoked salmon) which was possibly a bit ambitious, but arrived nicely presented and competently cooked. £4.29 seemed good value for this. Prices seemed good across the board (£1.45 for a pot of tea) except for the eye-watering £1.90 for a 375ml bottle of Pepsi. If you’re happy to eat in a supermarket, it’s a perfectly good option.
