I have only just started going to Bury Market now my partner and I are retired. We have often walked passed this cafe and admired how quintessentially English it looked, but always busy (which is a good thing🤗) today, with my partner, daughter, son and his wife the cafe had room for us. The staff are so warm and friendly, the menu covered every ones taste, the coffees are excellent, the food just perfect, and the prices are very reasonable. The decor is delightful with lots of quaint tea pots flowers and nicely worded plaques. The cleanliness is excellent. I look forward to my next visit as I know I won't be disappointed. Many thanks Hazel John & family x

I cane with a party of 10 ladies to Bury Market and came across Lous Larder9 for a quick cuppa. We were all very impressed and returned for our lunch. As it was busy, a good sign, we had a little wait but, once again, the food, staff and atmosphere was fantastic. We will definitely be calling again when we go to the market. 10/10.

I've seen this cafe a few times in passing but today it had available tables so we stopped off for lunch. Its a very cute cafe with a vintage/floral vibe. Tea was served in a cute teapot! It was table service so once seated they come and take your order, the staff we're all lovely, we waited About 20 minutes for food but it was worth it, it was lovely. Best jacket potato I've had for a long time! There are some seats outside and some indoors (theres a section for eating in opposite too). Prices are good, i highly recommend if visiting the market

Such a weird Chinese this one, ordered chicken in OK sauce. Got chicken in a sort of sweet n sour sauce with boozy tasting (off) pineapple and CUCUMBER 👀 who puts cucumber in a hot dish??? Nah…..that’s criminal that! Ordered it with fried rice and it had spring onions in it…….never seen spring onions in fried rice before, absolutely rotten, spent a good 20 minutes picking them out. Also, asked for a little hoi sin for my dumplings. He charged me and served me a MASSIVE TUB of, what was not, hoi sin….it was, yet again, sweet n sour sauce. I felt robbed. Waited a whopping 25 minutes for, what can only be described as, below average and unusual Chinese food…..it’s like they ran out of ingredients and bulked everything with spring onion and bulk ordered sweet n sour or they simply forgot how to Chinese. Chips, rice and gravy was good (apart from spring onions in the rice) but definitely the worst Chinese I’ve been to in a long time. Spent £20 and no free prawn crackers, even asked and he said no and couldn’t pay on card as they were less that £5. Terrible behaviour I’d say 🤷🏼♀️
