Crispy beef, noodles and ribs it was class!

Ordered fish x 2, large chips, peas & curry sauce. Freshly cooked, however, the chip portion was massive & would feed 3 people. Parking at busy times locally is an issue.

Food was really good! Will definitely be back. All the food was v tasty but the satay chicken skewers were v good. JustEat said delivery time was 45 mins but after booking it changed to 1hr-1hr20 so maybe some issue on JustEats end.

Sent me boiled rice instead of egg fried, portions aren’t as big as we would like for the price! Also took an hour to come. However, delivery driver was friendly and we appreciated the free prawn crackers.

this place does amazing hot food everytime, but sorry delivery was late tonight , I had to phone the restaurant and then after that it was another 20 mins to arrive after waiting 1 hour sorry guys 10 out of 10 for food tho

No issues with delivery but unfortunately the food was not good. Soggy chips and dry chicken which lacked flavour. A suggestion would be to keep the rice and chips separate when delivering food.

Food is always spot on and hot.

Had fish and chips with mushy peas. Overall very poor. Chips ok. Fish had been frozen for ages as it tasted of nothing just Grey mush. As for the peas. £1 for about 10 peas that were like bullets. I won't be back

1 hour and half to deliver from placing order and I’m still waiting! It’s the 2nd time it’s happened recently. Ordered numerous times but won’t order again now just because of this. You’ve lost a customer

Staff were great and for the £2.59 the surprise bag was great also.

Food took two hours to come and it was lukewarm at the very best when it arrived. Never had any issues before today, granted it is saturday night but two hours to be delivered…

Late again always give you a time and don’t turn up for half hour after I’m still waiting

Terrible!! We ordered our food at 7pm and was delivered at 10pm after phoning the takeaway after waiting 2hours and then driving to the takeaway to see where our delivery was. We were offered a can of coke for our inconvenience. Never going back!

The food was 45 minutes late dispute ordering an hour before scheduled delivery time (21:15). Numerous phone calls to restaurant and the reason I was given for the lateness was the driver had trouble parking. I live on an estate on a quiet road with very few cars, absolutely no issues parking. When food finally arrived it was cold, perhaps it had been sat in a car for 30 mins. Not good, first time using the restaurant, will not use again 😩

Decided to have a takeaway as I wasn’t up to cooking for myself so I telephoned for a delivery from the Chip inn at walshaw , I ordered a beef and tomato with chips and also a tub of curry sauce (I wanted to taste the curry sauce to see how hot it was before I get round to ordering a beef curry in the future as I hate hot curry sauce. But this was “lovely” just right for me The beef and tomato was brilliant one of the nicest I’ve had and the chips were great The only thing I didn’t really go for was the prawn crackers for myself they were a bit to thick but they were complimentary , it’s so good when you find a takeaway that’s really nice and you don’t feel like you’ve wasted your money, and believe me I’ve had a few places which don’t come up to the mark and when your a pensioner money is precious! As I’m sure it is for many people so I’m very happy to find this wonderful little takeaway Compliments to the chef!

It was perfect. Everything was great. The salt and pepper fries were delicious. And the Szechuan beef was great. My favorite Chinese restaurant. And a Chinese boy was very polite.

Out first time ordering here tonight after it was recommended to us , it was absolutely delicious, the beef chicken and pork in our special was so soft , no fat on the meat , the Ok ribs and egg fried rice , also fab . And proper chippy chips ! We will be ordering again

45 minutes later than what they said but overall 2 hrs 15 minutes later than ordered, although despite this I love chipsinn and the food is great.

Poor food now. Such a shame as used to be incredible food but corners now being cut. Forgot our sauce which still waiting for over 30 minutes later. Chips were undercooked, the ingredient quality has gone down especially the meat. Portions are way less than they used to be they’re using cheap ingredients rather than the good cooking they’re more than capable of.

Delicious fish chips and Chinese food

Food was great but was a little late. Shop rang to apologise and warned us it was going to be late.

When I ordered at around 7:20pm, the app stated that the latest I would receive delivery by would be 8:25pm. Shortly after, the delivery time changed to 8:50. It did t arrive until after 10pm. I wish I would have ordered somewhere else.

Chased several times. Was told it was busy and that our order hadn’t even been started yet after waiting more than an hour. Had to cancel and order elsewhere.

Best Chinease I have had . The lovely poeple who own this chippy are very polite I would highly recommend to anyone who loves chinease food cannot praise it enough

2 hours after ordering and food is still not here. Absolutely ridiculous. Rang the place they gave the classic “it’s on his way” as soon as they picked up and that was nearly half an hour ago.

Was given estimated delivery 8:05-8:25 and as soon as estimated time had passed it said it had been delivered. Rang up to see where my order was and told the drivers were out delivering and my food never turned up

First time ordering from here and safe to say I’ll be ordering again. Food was lovely, especially the ribs! The meat fell off the bone. Be prepared for a bit of a wait if ordering though but it was well worth the wait!

Ordered at 6.25pm with an estimated delivery time of 7.20 - 7.40pm. Food eventually arrived at 8.30pm. Food was just ok.

Christmas Eve order. Great food but due to demand the delivery time was overdue.

Horrendous delivery, well over an hour late and phoned the shop 3 times to be told it was on its way. We had to go to the shop and get it made fresh and collect. We will not be using again.

The Chicken Fried Rice was truly one of the nicest we have ever had. That might sound exaggerated but it is true. We have had disappointments with online orders before but not this time. Thank you.

Absolutely beautiful food again

The staff are fantastic and the food is delicious, fresh and good value for money. I can recommend the munch boxes for £10 you get a starter, main and a compliment, I choose the spring rolls, beef in black bean sauce and chicken fried rice, it comes red hot, tasty and is filling!
