Well what can we say great little boozer. Lee bar owner is mint proper landlord. Drinks great price safe environment. Bring a big group he puts on sandwiches and a singer and the night is sorted.

Service very slow take to long by time food comes always cold even when it’s toasted joke waste of money think it’s just in trained staff and to top it off got walkers drips and there out of date

Son loves his coffee and mocha from here. Been coming here for many years but just tried the sweet stuff but now it's halal, it's great to try other alternatives. Really enjoyed it, good saver meals!!

Had a fantastic time with my wife, made very welcome by staff, atmosphere was great everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, Manager was lovely & was working very hard on the floor making sure food was going out & tables being cleaned for other customers

Went here for lunch today extremely busy but they found us a table in a few mins ...first thing we noticed the staff never stopped running around and communicated exceptionally well with each other ..we opted for carvery and it was absolutely amazing bit of a delay on dessert but that was completely understandable seeing how busy they were staff litterally did not stop as soon as people left the tables were cleaned and reset absolutely superb defo my go to Sunday roast from now on!!!

The food was OK. There wasn't enough pitta bread on the starter and there was a bowl of olive oil.. did they miss the balsamic vinegar. Peppercorn sauce had a few peppercorns in the sauce but was bland and tasteless. Steak pudding and fish pie was OK. Downside are the dog owners who allow their dogs to yap until they give them food and the one who had her dog sat on her knee and then eat her burger.. maybe dog free areas.

We came with a friend who was treating us to lunch as a thank you. We all 3 enjoyed the service. Sam & Tracy were very helpful. The service was excellent. Enjoyed a good chat with both Sam and Tracy on our departure. We have been to several Hungry Horse Restaurants, our first time to Rochdale. We will come again as it is local to us from Halifax. Felt we had to do a review as all 3 of us enjoyed our meals.

Appalled to find most of the staff not wearing face masks,only one female member of staff was exempt.Considering the infection rate is rising , particularly in the north west I find this extremely worrying.

Have been to Brystons Keswick many times and have never been disappointed, always calm and you are never rushed today we called in choosing the afternoon tea for two which we have been going to have for a while. All I can say is wonderful, fresh, great selection ham, egg sandwiches along with their plum bread cheese and chutney samie great, prawn cocktails, choice of scone I had date and treacle, proper size cakes (6) not those small bites size we had in well known tea shop elsewhere (not Cumbria). Couldn't eat it all so we're offered a box to bring home some our cakes fantastic. Service as always excellent, polite, friendly and professional.

We went on Christmas day for a walk around the lake. Popped in for a drink and a light bite. We were advised that because it was Christmas day they were only serving carvery and despite it being bookings only, they were accepted walk-ins. We did not want a carvery but they sat us on the bar side for us to get a drink. We had the dog with us and the staff were very accommodating and polite.

Mid week the Harrow had plenty of space to accommodate an impromptu family gathering. I know that at weekends it’s really advised to reserve a table. We’ve been coming to this pub pretty much all our lives, but was impressed by the upgrades and expansion. The menu was interesting and didn’t disappoint. The service from Shane was awesome. They have some great offers and discounts online so that diners of all budgets can enjoy it. Definitely putting this back on my “visits Home” itinerary.
