Will not be returning, do not go out for a meal to listen to kids screening and running around the pub, jumping up and playing on the furniture x terrible 😡

Excellent meal Rump steak with salad and Scampi and chips. This is the second time we have had a meal here in a week both times the food was excellent. I ordered french fries with my meal and it came out with thick chips. The landlord who was very pleasant brought out a complimentary bowl of french fries. Prices were very reasonable before we got a 30% voucher off as well. Large range of beers and ciders. The pub was quiet but starting to get busier. We will be back

Had a table booked for 1pm, arrived only 1 table in the restaurant had people sitting there looking at menus. No members of staff around so sat at a table looked at the menu and decided the place had no atmosphere no service so left. What a waste of time. This is the 2nd Marstons pub we have visited in Nantwich and will be the last. Absolutely dire.

Visited for some food and drinks only to be receive a £170 parking fine! Assumed if you are there to eat that you can park freely. Guess not

Went for a meal and drinks, enjoyed it while there only to receive a £170 fine for parking while there. My advice- find somewhere that doesn’t rip you off.

Great pub with a wide range of drinks, food looked great (didn’t eat this time as purely a drinking trip) the staff are really friendly and really helpful. If you’ve not been, or not been in for a while. Give it a go

Went here for a birthday meal with the family. Received great and quick service, the food was delicious and looked appetising too. Friendly manager and waiting staff, was very impressed. Can’t wait to come again :)

Nipped in on my way home from work tonight and grabbed some tea. It’s a really nice pub, first time I’ve visited in about 2.5 years and it’s vastly improved. Fresh and clean with a great atmosphere (plus they were showing the Euro games which is a bonus). I had the Ultimate Southern Fried Chicken Burger and a few pints Neck Oil (bonus points again for chain pub doing a decent craft beer 👌🏻). The burger was fresh and filling and the beer was good. Staff were chatty and friendly and had some good banter when at the bar.

We visited this afternoon (28th June) and last week! Both times were great. Good selection of food which is tasty and served quickly - always good when you have a 2 year old. Staff also very friendly. Thank you!

Came to watch England last night, the atmosphere was amazing, ordered dinner to fit into half time. All arrived piping hot and was delicious. Will be back to watch all the matches here 100%.

Went for lunch today the food was the worst mea[ I have ever had.Garlic mushrooms so hard I had to stab them with my knife. fish and chips fish over cooked with hard batter.Coffee was then seved in a chipped cup.Wecomplaned and were given a 20% discount.She said the chef had been told to change the cooking oil.

Food was ok, my fault I didn’t think it was a ‘ brand’ pub as I live out of the area, I expected a farm. We booked our 4 weekly ladies that lunch where we try different venues within a 20 mile radius.

Booked a table the day before our visit when we arrived there was no record of it. A lot of meals on the menu were not available. We eventually were given a table in the pool table area and the language from people in that area was appalling and we had two eight year old with us. Would not recommend for a family occasion.

A great experience from the moment I entered the pub. The staff are very welcoming and helpful, and the food we ordered was served within a reasonable time. Great food and great service! A 5* rating from me!

Lunch time was told after ordering and sitting down, told when cutlery brought out that there was a long wait as they were busy .Should of been told at point of ordering so we had a choice . Both had standard mixed grill , steak was definitely not medium and chicken breast really dry was ok for the price

One of my favourite pubs and place to eat, food is AMAZING and all the staff are so so nice! Always feels so welcoming and family friendly, the lamb dinner was absolutely beautiful today! The staff are always so helpful and will do anything they can to adapt a meal to your needs

We ate here on Xmas day. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I thought with it being Xmas day it would be a rushed service, but it was a lovely relaxed meal. Would definitely go back. Well done to everyone

My fish was over cooked, batter was rock hard and the pes were like bullets, vegi pie was very dry, can't understand because the pub was almost empty, want be coming again

Lovely food and decent prices. However I wouldn't return due to the half a dozen young children running round constantly whilst trying to enjoy the meal. The kids were even climbing over people on the next table to hide behind curtains and under the chairs and tables with one fetching a dog into the eating area. They were told once by a lady to go back to there parents but chose to ignore her. It is a lovely pub and very nice food, just a shame about the kids

The food was okay, but the children running round constantly and interrupting the meal while the parents sat there and drunk and no staff helping out was appalling

We called for an unplanned meal and wasn’t disappointed. The staff were welcoming, the service good and the good well presented and piping hot. Well worth a visit.

Half a cup of tea, hardly any milk.lasagner burned to within an inch of its life had to chip it off the bowl with a knife.chips OK.they forgot the garlic bread. Only 6 people in, no atmosphere. Only one member of staff working bar and food service. Appalling, will never return, oh how this place has gone down hill.

We have been here several times and enjoyed the food and drink each time, this time I had the cheese/leek and potato pie with chips and peas. The wife had the steak and ale pie with chips and peas both meals were lovely, no room this time for pudding but they are all very nice. It's just a shame that there were not many people in the pub, well worth a visit.

Georgia and the staff have saved this pub. The venue and its reputation had previously been destroyed but the cronk is definitely back!!

Visited this place after driving though the village. Served and looked after by Pauline. Food was lovely, drinks were great and Pauline couldn’t do enough for us whilst having lunch. Nothing too much trouble and only had to ask. Will definitely be back for another visit.

My husband and i popped in today for some lunch on the off chance. We were very suprised by the amazing service from Pauline. The food was delicious we will definitely be coming back.

Staff were very welcoming explained about the car park entering your car reg explained so not to get a ticket. The menus were explained and food was quick with very efficient service. Highly recommend and will be returning.

We had a lovely meal today. Children’s portion was a great size. Place is clean. Service was fab too, very friendly & the outdoor play area was a hit!

Enjoyed the lunchtime special offer, 2/3 courses at £2.25 each, adequate choice and portion size for lunch, in fact the dessert size was great. Great value. Served by Pauline, always a friendly welcome.

Came in and at 5.45pm they said kitchen was open till 6.00pm . SO WE ORDERED FOOD MY STEAK CAME ALMOST RAW SO SENT IT BACK IT CAME OUT AGAIN THE SAME PIECE I SENT BACK AS I'D CUT IT IN HALF TO CHECK THE COOKING BEFORE I STARTED TO EAT IT I THINK THEY MUST OF PUT IT IN A MICROWAVE AS IT TURNED GREY AND WAS RUBBERY ALL THE CUTS OF MEAT ON MY HUSBANDS MIXED GRILL WERE DISGUSTING ALSO NEVER HAVE I BEEN A PUB IN MY LIFE AND RECIEVED SUCH A BAD MEAL .WE ATE THE CHIPS AND GAVE THE MEAT TO THE DOG EVEN SHE PULLED HER NOSE UP AT IT DON'T KNOW WHERE THIS PUB GETS ITS PRODUCE FROM BUT BOTH THEM AND THE PUB SHOULDNT BE ALLOWED TO SERVE OR SELL FOOD I GIVE UP COMPLAINING ABOUT MARSTONS PUBS WHATS THE POINT ITS BEST JUST TO AVOID THEM I REALLY THINK YOU SERIOUSLY NEED TO SORT YOUR MANAGERS OUT .I WOULD NOT RECOMEND MARSTONS PUBS ANYMORE AND DEFINITELY NOT RECOMEND THIS ONE YOU NEED CLOSING DOWN

Nice pub to drop in to, chips are nice as is the Estrella. Got a pool table and a fruit machine plus plenty of seats and tables.

Excellent service from Pauline! Handled my awkward wife’s changes to a standard burger (burnt, jalapeño peppers, different sauce etc) with a smile!

The fountain soft drinks went flat in seconds, however staff weren't interested in sorting it out or getting replacement drinks.

Came for lunch with my partner on Wednesday afternoon, ordered Curry and drink, Great Value Tasty Food, friendly service with a smile and a chat. They always cater to my partners food restrictions and Pauline even remembered her usual meal

Friendly atmosphere Georgia served us very polite, very helpful with the menu as there is vegetarians and gluten intolerance in the party would definitely go again.

Our visit here was our first time, as we are just visiting Nantwich. We were greeted with such lovely FOH staff. I didn't want to go round every staff, to ask names, so I will put the time and date so you can check the...

Once you get the food it’s good, the staff are nice… just something always something wrong e.g bring all the food and forget one persons meal. Or the wait time for your food is silly long. Just seems organisation isn’t the strong point always winging...
