This is a great day out if you like all things Antique, Collectables, Books or general bric a brac. Lots of different units to ex̌plore. Our visit today was purely to visit the farm shop near the entrance to purchase their wonderful pork pies! These are a must if you like good quality locally produced food. Id avoid the cafe on site as the food isnt very good but is equally exspensive.

Visited this complex on a Tuesday, and to be honest, 75% of the businesses were not open, so disappointed . It would be best to wait until the weekend when most people visit. Not able to give a fair and honest opinion.

Lovely to be able to walk around the antiques show rooms and then a treat in the cafe. There is a fantastic book shop that you can get lost in with every subject covered, it seemed.

I really enjoyed my visit here. There are a lot of antique and collectable sellers, including specialist retro toys, vinyl, and trading cards like Pokémon alongside traditional antiques. There are a few cafes, a farm shop, garden statuary and furniture, clothing and gifts. I spent three hours here and never felt bored. There are benches all over the place so you can rest. Two quibbles - the toilets are nice and clean, but there seems to be only one set (there may be more and I believe the cafes have customer loos), and the lock on the disabled toilet was dodgy, so I struggled to lock it and then to unlock it. And in some places the paths were a bit uneven. I saw wheelchair users who were getting about just fine, though, so as I say, a minor niggle.

Don’t come here if you are in a hurry, or don’t want to spend any money….. An almost bewildering assortment of antiques, bric-à-brac crafts etc. Allow several hours to browse, but beware-finding your way back to the stall which had that thing you wish you’d bought will tax the best memory.

This place has grown exponentially since we were last here a couple of years ago You could easily spend a whole afternoon here and still not see everything. Recommended for a visit especially on a nice sunny day like today. It has grown again since our last visit, pretty much all the same types of collector things. I do like the addition of the sale of motor homes, although I am past buying one myself unfortunately. A very interesting "antique clock" shop appeared as well. Not my bag (purchasing wise), but great to look around. Loads of cuckoo clocks so I would probably avoid going in at midday. 🤣

Car parking is free and can get very busy. Made out of gravel, which can make access with wheelchair a little tricky. All shops are on the ground floor and have wheelchair access , and manoeuvrability should be OK on the main path within the shops. I like the place as it has so many things on offer, however sometimes it becomes a bit overwhelming as there I sso much to see. I particularly like the second-hand bookshop and the coffee shop next to the garden place. I personally have not used the toilets there, so 6 comment about cleanliness or accessibility.

This food is hugely overpriced for what you get. I paid £17.90 for two cheese and onion toasties and each one was made with 2 slices of the cheapest of cheap white bread, about a tablespoon of tasteless grated economy cheese, and a couple of strands of onion… I imagine the ingredients for both sandwiches totalled less than £1. The coffees (one latte and one cappuccino) were £3.50 each but the staff knocked them off the bill because we couldn’t drink them - they tasted like they were made from powdered sachets - definitely not made with fresh milk.

Had a lovely day at Dagfields looking around the emporium of crafts and antiques. There were plenty of things too see possibly too much by the time you get round them all! But if you have something in mind you want to buy it's a perfect place to come..we were after a tiffany lamp and a couple of stalls sold them so I know we'll be back to look at them again. The garden centre was a bonus for me as I love looking for plants for my garden and they were a reasonable price too. There are two cafes both sell the same food and same prices which we found reasonable. For dinner we both had jacket potatoes with a chilli filling and a tuna filling very nice with a bit of salad on the side and crisps. We were in Dagfields all day browsing and the lovely weather probably helped for us to stay longer. We decided on trying the other cafe for a latte each in the afternoon, a "large" slice of Victoria cake and a scone with jam and cream for me..they were lovely and the setting was nicer as it felt more like a quaint tea shop with a conservatory which we sat in overlooking the gardens. We finished the day in the farm shop buying two pork pies which we didnt take long to polish off when we got home! They were delicious. All in all a brilliant enjoyable day there if your into collectables, antiques and handmade products you'll be in your element I know we were!

Been great to see this local success story grow over the last three decades or so. There are now many individual and unusual units selling antiques and collectables to camper vans! Loads of parking as well. The only things lacking are enough toilet facilities and the tea rooms, which are a total throw back to the very early 90's (apart from the prices which are very 2024)! OK when it was just a farm with a few converted barns, it needs a complete re think along the lines of the best farm shops and garden centres. The food choices need updating (vegetarian/ vegan etc,) and more locally made cakes, not so much bought in bulk. The staff are great, but they need the facilities to back them up (paying by card is no longer a new fangled thing!)
