My friend recommended this hidden gem, and it definitely lived up to the hype! We had a lovely lunch. The atmosphere was charming, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was fresh and delicious. I'm already planning a return visit.

Superb friendly service from start to finish. Lovely hotel with well stocked bar and food offering in the restaurant was amazing.

The Brown Cow was recommended to us whilst we were walking in the area and it exceeded our expectations. We were warmly welcomed and served with the best food we've had when eating out in ages.I stay in a lot of hotels around the country when working, so speak from experience. I had Cumberland sausage, my wife had the gamon. Proper "home cooked" food, PROPER CHIPS, all done to perfection and huge portions. Go and experience the local charm. Brilliant guys, well done and thankyou, we will be back.

We Found a hair in my smash burger . Its wasn’t even smashed properly . I asked the boss man for a refund but he declined and threatened to call on the police

Nice place to eat, nice old pub with a lovely atmosphere would recommend for a nice weekend meal with the lived one

The last 12 months, the meals have got smaller and the prices have got higher. Not bad food but all other chippys are so much cheaper with bigger portions.

Great visit but open the kitchen door or put the extractors on, the smell of chip fat / cooking oil was overwhelming and a bit unpleasant, it'd deffo put people off. Great service!

Ordered 4 burgers tonight 2 burgers extremely soggy , just about warm enough . Didn’t taste freshly . Chips nice . Can only give it three stars considering what it cost .
